The best. Dan knows cars and trucks and does not mind finding ways to save money which matters when you have a suburban that needs work about every month. He is really talented and a nice guy to boot. The dog is totally the cutest.

This has been the BEST mechanic I have ever gotten to meet. First off he has the best Germen shepherd ever just strolling around! Also I brought my Hyundai in with a problem and he gave a diagnostic which was spot on, he repaired it and it made my problem better, however it did not fix it 100% at first but as soon as he noticed that it did not he started working on finding out what else was going on with it and since it was not in his original bill that he gave me he did not charge me for it. When I have had the EXACT opposite happen with other mechanics. Not to mention he worked all the way through the weekend to get it done. 10/10 highly recommend!

Dan did an oil change for me and filled my tires and answered my question about a leak and even pointed out to me a sign that my radiator was starting to leak but that it was about a 2 or 3 on a scale of 1-10, 10 being the worst which I felt was very honest and he explained to me what to watch for and worst case scenario. Great honest service and friendly dog! I would definitely recommend this place

Outstanding service, the guy that runs this place got me in immediately when everyone else was weeks out. I was skeptical because here's the one place that isn't weeks out, what's wrong with them? Spoiler: nothing. He's just a hard working, small business owner that goes the extra mile for his customers. I had him fix a broken window motor where the window wouldn't go back up during the rainy season. The guy delivered, would totally recommend.

I moved from out of state and I didn’t know where to go to get my car repaired. There was a screeching noise when I started my car. With Dan at DC Auto Repair I received professionalism and honesty. He replaced my starter and we soon found out that There was something a little bit more in depth with the noise starting the car. He was fair enough to give me a credit on the new starter installation and also I had him fix my brakes and do a tuneup. It’s very hard these days to find anybody who is honest and fair. I would recommend To fix your car to put you at ease to be able to drive off with peace of mind.

Messed up my car engine and this shop owner is not ASE certified. I will not take my vehicle to him because he will not honor his warranty. Suggest you don’t either. You will thank me if you stay away from this business

I took my older Honda to get its timing belt replaced, and Daniel was able to get it done quickly. He also helped diagnose and repair a severe oil leak that I was experiencing. He did all of this at a very nice price, and while he made some recommendations/suggestions for other repairs he was realistic with me regarding the age and condition of my vehicle and didn't do any aggressive upselling. If you are looking for an honest mechanic he is my recommendation.
