Wow! I found the mechanics of my dreams. These fellas know their stuff and are top notch. A Mechanic's error at another shop ruined my transmission. They sent it out for a rebuild. After weeks, my Jeep was worse. Each time I drive it, I felt a sense of dread. It was lurching, definitely not shifting gears smoothly. I recently moved to Long Beach, my smog inspection was due, because of the trans, it was not gonna pass. After going to another local shop and heard, "it's a power problem with the engine, not the trans. I was like π€―! I drove away shaking my head in disbelief. Thankfully, I found this shop, they diagnosed and agreed, the transmission was the culprit. They rebuilt it to manufacturer's specifications. Now my transmission is smooth as butter. No more check engine light.π They had it smog checked at a partner shop as a courtesy (one less task to do). I happily paid the smog fee $60.00. One less thing to worry about. Thankfully, the first mechanic was honorable and paid for the transmission repair. I will recommend this family-owned and operated local business. They have made a customer for life. I am so grateful. They maintain engines too!

If I could give this place zero stars or negative, I would. Really scandalous people, especially Roberts, this mechanic charging elderly people those "$500" oil changes, and for a simple job, the price always comes out to around "$1,500". Charging up the wazoo for nearly $300 worth of work. Happened to my pastor. Had a couple of other mechanics take a look from different shops, and they said, "No, no, no, that's a crazy amount of money."

De Leonβs does it again. Their slogan βexceeding your expectationsβ is very fitting, because they do just that, consistently. The owner is completely undoing the negative stigma of mechanics, one interaction at a time. I brought a truck that I just bought in for an inspection. The owner had his own son work on it, even. After a couple days, they went into thorough detail with me about what they discovered. The price he gave me was already literally less than half of the price of the guy I asked previously; and then, when I went to pick it up todayβ¦ he said itβs on the house! Like what? Excuse me? Kindness in the modern world still exists? From a mechanic of all people! Like if thereβs ever a solid indicator that your mechanic WONβT take advantage of you, itβs them not even taking what is owed to them. Thereβs a reason I only bring my vehicles to De Leonβs, and recommend the shop fervently to anyone who will listen, and this experience reenforces it. Iβm moving soon, and I will genuinely miss having a solid and flexible mechanic I can trust.

I went to de Leon auto mechanic to get the intake manifold replaced on my car. I actually shopped around, called a couple of places. This was the best price they gave me and were honest. I have a 2011 C 300 and they charge me a very good price for doing the work and they did a great job. Would definitely recommend-to any woman out there. If you want an honest mechanic that wonβt rip you off this is the place to go.

Brought my car in for AC service. They were very polite and the prices were reasonable. My AC works great now! For AC service where they hook it up to the machine, weigh the freon, refill the freon and oil to the recommended amount, and check for leaks, it was $125. Other places quoted me a minimum of $175 or $185 to look at my AC when I told them it works but doesn't cool enough when idle. My AC was at less than half the amount of freon it was supposed to have so it's no wonder it wasn't working efficiently. They checked for leaks and to make sure it maintained pressure while running for awhile. I probably have a tiny leak somewhere but it's too small to notice at the moment. Anyways, I left having paid $125 (plus $3 disposal fee, so $128 total) to have my AC fixed. Very reasonable. I called ahead and brought it in about 2:15pm and was leaving around 3:30pm, so they started on it right away and were done in just a little over an hour. When I asked for an estimate about future work they quoted me a very reasonable price. I'll definitely come back for future repairs.
