They get inspections done but very underwhelming customer service. Think, Ben Stein...... "Do you have red, dryyyy, eyyyyes?"

Used this place for years but never been on a Saturday. Googled showed the place open at 9am. So I got there early around 8:30 hoping to beat any rush and to be in and out when they did open and to my surprise they were already open ready to go. Not sure if it was a one off thing or what but worked out well for me

Kicking myself for waiting till the last day this station was my third attempt at an inspection this morning. One place was too booked up and one turned me away because I had lost my registration. Two people were working here and was greeted by one who just got done with a customer so I explained to him I didn't have a registration and he said no worries we got you just needed my driver license. Numerous cars ahead of me and was in and out in a jiff. Don't know how I didn't know about this place beforehand.

My car inspection was done in about 15mins. He is a 1 man party but rocking the show. He opens at 8am. 2 cars were already there by the time I came in. I was out by 845

I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE!! Rude only begins to describe my experience here....came in a little over an hour from closing two men with no greeting acting as I am disturbing them asks me "What you need?" I replied I would like to get a state inspection completed, he replied their system was down, I then asked down as temporary down due to the storm outside and it might come back up or down as in it's not been working all day? He said "he didn't know but anyway they close on like an hour." With no other customers present last I checked inspections only take 15-20 minutes 30 minutes max. He then stated I probably need to come back on Monday, which I have to work on Monday hence my Saturday attempt. It was not the information relayed but more the rude and abrupt manner of the delivery. There are hundreds of places that conduct state inspections when a person chooses to spend their time and money with your business, just a small smidge of appreciation and customer service goes a long way and is appreciated.

It’s clean. The people are nice. We tried the place out last year and were pleasantly surprised. As stated last year I’d be back with my truck and here I am. I think so far I’ve been lucky where I drove up and my truck was next in line for service.

We always bring our cars here. Year after year. Sometimes there's a wait (if there's a lot of people we expect there will be a wait time so we wait), sometimes there's hardly a wait time. Everyone has been pleasant and professional. We will continue coming back!

If I could leave no stars I would cause that's how disappointed I was with my experience today. I have done my last three inspections here, and it was a great experience. However for some reason this year I keep having the worst time here. They don't take any more customers past 4:30 even though the signs says they close at 5 and they failed my car this year even though it passed last year for the same reason... The last straw was today when I went for my inspection, I got there by like 4:20 and the guy said he couldn't take any more cars because he already had two lined and it was just him there. If you are that short-staffed you could literally just change your sign. I could have saved myself those 20 minutes and gone somewhere else.

I usually go to this place every year for car inspections and I never had an issue with them until yesterday. I work 2 jobs Monday-Friday so it’s hard for me to get by here during the week. I came in on Saturday 7/26/25 right around 4:20-4:30ish for an inspection since I was off and had some time to spare. There were at best 2-3 cars in the parking lot and I remember seeing on the website prior to me arriving that this place closed at 5:00pm so of course I think I’m arriving at a good time since inspections usually don’t take that long. I went in and was not greeted whatsoever. Instead I have a worker standing there with shades on with his hands on his hip looking at me like I wasn’t supposed to be in there. He asked me what did I need and when I told him I needed an inspection, he immediately got annoyed saying he was trying to close early due to the heat and he was the only there and he hadn’t had a lunch break and had already completed around 40 inspections already throughout the day. Although I can sympathize with the heat and whatnot, at the same time that was not my problem. It was not my problem he was short staffed. Again, I sympathize with the issues he had going on because I’ve been in work situations like that but that was an issue that needed to be taken up with his supervisor/manager or another higher up. You simply cannot take your anger and frustrations out on a customer. He literally pointed to the clipboard where you sign in at and let out a heavy sigh. I told him I could go somewhere else if it was too much trouble and he said no, “you’re already here, might as well do it.” Once I signed my name and car info onto the clipboard he snatched the clipboard and pretty much flung it down and walked out from around the counter very annoyed. At this point, I’m staring at him ready to say some unruly words but I caught myself and just took some deep breath and sat down. Other customers that were waiting on their vehicles to be inspected were talking about how he was acting and how rude he was. Again, we’re all human beings and yes, things happen out of our control and it’s easy to get irritated and frustrated and whatnot but at the same time, you have to keep a professional attitude when you are still working in the midst of customers. I also overheard him telling some more customers that the guy who called out usually calls out quite frequently and nothing is done about it and he’s tired of it. I don’t know the worker’s name who was there on Saturday when I went but I hope the manager or higher up of this establishment will talk with all the employees about professionalism and have a secondary plan of action when it’s only 1 employee at the establishment and they’re needing help. Also I hope the manager or higher ups will hold employees accountable for their actions, especially when it involves excessive call outs/not showing up to work. I have 2 cars so this is the last car I have to have inspected this year. Hopefully next year will be a more pleasant experience for me if I decide to bring my cars back to this establishment for inspections.

I gave 3 stars bc the service was efficient and the employee was friendly. Three people ahead of me and total visit was less than an hour. However I knocked off two stars bc the waiting area is in great need of attention (see photos). It also smelled bad, like dirty people. I don’t know if it was the guy sitting next to me or the chair I was sitting in. Also the bathroom was closed/out of order. I got my inspection done for $40 which I think is pretty standard (they add a $10 window tint fee).

Usually go to the Webb store and in and out in about 10 minutes but, met some friends in town and came this one around 11am. I parked and there must have been 6+ cars ahead of me easily. Was thinking I was in for a good wait. I saw a sign in sheet and put my info down. When the gentlemen came in from doing another car I asked the wait time and was shocked he said only about 45 minutes and that is about how long I waited. Couldn't believe it was so fast. The gentleman was completely alone to greet customers, take phone calls, take payment, answer questions from guest who popped in and also complete inspections. Definitely a go-to spot for no hassle inspections

I have been going there for 3 years. I’ve owned my truck for 13 years. I’ve gotten it inspected every year. No one has said anything about the truck having aftermarket window tinting in 12 years and I was completely unaware of it having aftermarket tinting. This time I was charged extra because I have aftermarket window tinting. I said, I don’t think it does. For 12 years nobody charged for it or mentioned it. He said, yes it does. Period. He wouldn’t discuss it with me. I had to pay the extra for the tinting to get it to pass. Seemed very weird.

Check your windshield wiper blades and take pictures of the ends. Split ends cause the inspection to fail. A whole wall of windshield wiper blades are for sale in the car inspection bays. Read between the lines folks! I will not go there again. The wipers 'I had to buy' because the ends were 'split' are bulky and stick up at the hinges. They are a distraction while driving and NOT anything like the standard wiper blades my car's manufacturer provides. I will not go there again.

Rrecently visited this DEKRA Emissions & Safety station for a vehicle inspection and was impressed by the quick and efficient service. The staff was professional and ensured the process was smooth and hassle-free. However, I am giving a 3-star rating because the bathroom was out of service, which appears to be a recurring issue based on previous reviews. This inconvenience detracts from the overall experience, and I hope it is addressed soon.

Was in and out of the garage in a very reasonable amount of time. Kahree was working alone and has a very efficient system of getting customers in and out. Great job!

We have been using DEKRA for our annual inspections since they first opened..but my husband always took care of both vehicles. Since I finally retired, I thought I would surprise my hubby by doing my own. I did not see any indicators on where a new person is to park and after pulling in the front of the facility, I was told I needed to move my vehicle to the fence. (I almost thought of driving off.) Houston did our inspection. He was polite, expedient and did a thorough inspection. I am glad I stayed and had my vehicle inspected. This was new to me for first time in four decades. Thanks!

Friday 12/23 was my second year using this facility. Didn't care for how Strickland Bros tries to sell you everything they got so I tried here last year. I like here because I've never had anyone up-sell me however, both times was a long wait with only one person working. This time there must have been 9+ cars in front of me and one employee doing everything. Waited well over an hour. Not sure if this normal business model but not sure if I'll try my luck again either

A few years back, I was waiting for an inspection and had a low blood sugar episode. The employee was super attentive and gave me a soda. He looked after me to ensure that I was doing better. If it hadn’t been for him, I would’ve surely ended up in the hospital. My blood sugar was 42 after drinking the soda. I bring my vehicles to this business every year. All of them. They will forever have my business because I can never forget the kindness shown to me when I was in need. Today, Houston took care of us and we were able to get our registration done. Excellent service and excellent people. I forgot my dolly after renting a uhaul and couldn’t remember where I placed it. Weeks later they had it in safe keeping. They’re amazing. Plenty of parking in irrigate lot. They have you in and out quickly.

I had read other reviews and listened to the interactions with other customers to see if I heard rudeness. I did not. Even when someone came at closing I heard the desk employee politely explain it was too late today but he could come another day. Then the employee explained the hours. No rudeness detected. I did had to wait. There were 3 cars ahead of me so of course I had to wait. Once they got my car inside it was about 15-20 minutes until I was paid and ready to go. Total wait was about 45-50 minutes. Not bad. The cost is regulated and the same as others. I would go back. Maybe some count rudeness as an answer I did not like.
