I was traveling through North Carolina and was getting a code to clean my exhaust filter. My engine power was reduced and had to get a hotel for the night. I was lucky to find CDI on google. I called them Saturday morning and they understood my problem and the fact that I was stuck 700 miles from home. Eric was able to clear the code and clean the filter. After a test drive he did another cleaning to make sure it was perfect. I never asked how much the repair would cost because I was desperate and wanted to get home. I feel I got a great deal for the service I received and I would highly recommend CDI if you have a diesel truck.

Do not give CDI your money!!! Don’t believe the other reviews. This company is not good. It’s basically a one man operation (his name is Tyler and the shop is in his backyard). He kept my truck for three months, and still didn’t fix the problem. I paid him $5,000 and my truck broke down on the side of the highway the week after I got my truck back. It broke down BECAUSE OF THE SAME PROBLEM THAT I PAID HIM TO FIX! He’s extremely unresponsive. He’s unprofessional. He even refused to give me a receipt, an itemized invoice, or any other proof of payment so taking him to court is not an option.

I just had by 6.7 Powerstroke truck in for my first visit CDI. I decided to replace the unreliable CP4 with a new S&S DCR HPFP. Since it is my daily driver, Tyler committed to getting it done on time and they did. Shane appears to have done a great job and I will be working with them for some additional work on my truck. I like that these guys eat and sleep diesel trucks and priced the job fairly.

Poor communication. I was told to drop early Monday and would have a quote that day. 48 hours passed a still no communication. I was able to reach out to another dodge service tech and get a quote and timeline for repair. So I picked it up this morning and told him that I would still be interested in getting it tuned after the repair and the guy got an attitude an told me if I was getting it serviced elsewhere that he wouldn’t be interested in doing any future work for me. If he had reached out at any point I would have gotten the work done there but poor communication led me to take it elsewhere.
