So, I had my 22 Volvo detailed at Dent Worx today. While it was not cheap, I was amazed at the quality of work. Far more than I expected. Car looked like it was in the showroom. They even cleaned the engine compartment. The collision depth even mixed up paint to match and touched up, some paint chips. I will go back. Dent Worx is first class.

I was shocked and disappointed in the owner's reaction when I had questions about the paint chipping on the hood of my SUV that Dent Worx had repaired a few years back. I brought my car to Dent Worx around four years ago. They repaired my grill, hood, bumper and headlight. Two years later my paint chips in huge spots on the bumper. Too much to ignore and due to no fault of my own. I bring it back asking about it. First he says he had some bad paint that had done the same thing to other cars. He said he'd redo it, though he didn't seem friendly about it. Second time I bring it back to schedule the repair, (which I was thankful was done at no cost), he says the paint chipping was due to some employees he had who did a lot of work wrong. That was not what he said to me before, but I just want my car fixed properly and don't think too much of it. I mention the chipping on my hood, which I never had before sending my car there. He says he'll examine it and put together an estimate on it. He works on it, I get my car back and it looks much better. I get the estimate, which I felt was fair. Then I start wondering, "If the paint did this on the bumper what keeps the hood from doing the same? Maybe I should ask him about that." My mom and I go back in after the bumper repair to ask if it's the same paint on the hood as the bumper. He was beyond rude. He said we were trying to get something for nothing and he did enough by repairing the bumper. He was completely out of line. He acted as if I was trying to get more free work out of him but I only came back in to ask questions I considered after briefly talking to him. I recognized he was angry and said I was grateful for what work he did. He said I clearly wasn't if I came back in asking questions. I love supporting local businesses, but I simply cannot support someone willing to, in my opinion, accuse his customers of asking for something they never actually asked for. I simply came back to ask a question. I believe work doesn't hold up and he is resentful if you bring it to his attention. I will never return to Dent Worx and I won't let anyone I care about do business there either. Learn to respect your customers, sir.

Dent Worx was fantastic. I told them that I had a 1000$ deductible and did not want to report it to my insurance. I told them I wasn’t looking for perfection, and if they could just replace the windshield and make it so the hood would freely open and close. He said he understood and they replaced my windshield and straighten the hood/fender and painted the repair. And it’s great, can hardly see the issue. And for only a couple hundred more then my deductible. Absolutely great people. I hope I don’t need any more body work to be done, but if I do, it will go to Dent Worx Kingsport

A few months ago I was T boned by a deer in my new Tacoma. I decided to call Dent Worx and spoke with Chris, and he got me scheduled for an estimate and then repairs. I’ve had a few dealings with other body shops around this area in the past, and each time it seems that I leave somewhat unsatisfied… But With Dent Worx it was different. My truck underwent major repair, and throughout the entire process I was treated fairly, kindly and was ensured everything would be taken care of to the highest standard. The entire time I felt like my vehicle was safe and in good hands. Chris, Penni and their exceptionally skilled staff were very professional and informative anytime I had any questions. I recently had Chris at Dent Worx repair my truck from a collision with a deer. Chris went way out of way to make everything about the experience as positive as he could. Chris Shelton started out with a 100% thorough estimate of the damage and insisted of the repairs being over the top to my satisfaction. Although we , as in he had to fight with my insurance (State Farm) to use quality parts the end game was fantastic. But here’s the kicker….State Farm refused to pay the full amount of the estimate so Chris said if I’d cover the material he’d eat 18 hours of labor. Who else would have done that? No one that’s who.. and when SF ended my rental car payments Chris let me drive his vehicle over a month for just because he’s a nice guy and didn’t charge a dime… So if anyone wants honesty, quality, and the feel of personality ….. plus top notch quality work….. I want to give a shout-out to a local company that truly goes above and beyond—Dent Worx. They are an outstanding business that genuinely cares about their customers and the vehicles entrusted to them. A few months ago, we were rear-ended, and the back bumper of our vehicle was damaged. The at-fault driver’s insurance company sent us to one of their “preferred” shops for an estimate. If you don’t already know, those preferred shops rarely do what’s best for you or your vehicle—they do what’s cheapest for the insurance company. After that experience, I took the vehicle to Dent Worx for a second estimate and repairs. From the very beginning, Chris was honest and upfront. He explained that this insurance company is known for refusing to pay for OEM parts and for reusing damaged components when they shouldn’t. Once the bumper was removed, it was clear that several mounting tabs were broken, making the bumper cover unusable. Despite this, the insurance company insisted it be reused and refused to pay for a replacement. Chris immediately said this was unacceptable and helped guide me through fighting the insurance company to make things right and restore the vehicle to 100%, the way it was before the wreck. He also educated me on diminished value, something insurance companies don’t freely tell you about but are required to pay. Chris even went as far as obtaining the diminished value report himself so I could submit it. Thanks to his help, I was able to recover additional money without having to take the other driver to small claims court. This experience really opened my eyes—be careful who you insure with, because if your insurance company cuts corners, you may end up paying out of pocket. If you ever need collision or body work done, I can’t recommend Dent Worx enough. They will stand up for you, fight the insurance company when needed, and take care of your vehicle the right way
