These guys here are some of the best around! While they couldn't fix our cars issue due to its nature they did every possible thing they could ontop going the extra mile and pointing us in the direction we needed to go. They didn't do anything to our car without first talking to us, and every associate we talked to was extremely friendly and professional. 100% will be returning here for any of our future car needs!

My parents always go to express oil change to have regular oil changed and my mom was just there for transmission service. My mom had her brakes done on her Nissan rogue they helped me repair my front axle and ball joint on my Subaru outback. They are always amazing every time that we go, super friendly. They never have a change in employment. They’re always the same guys that are there. They are extremely courteous, helpful, and amazing.

I have been having my vehicles serviced here since this place opened (15 years?) Today I waited for 20 minutes. There was a lady who came in 15 minutes after I did. She was pulled into a bay after being there 5 minutes. I sat there for a bit, and assessed the situation. It looked like I was going to have to continue to wait for my oil change. So, I left. They just lost a long time customer today. I will never go back. The customer service has really gone downhill.

This happened at the west stone drive location but I have already reviewed them for a bad oil change they did. I decided to get my A/C recharged today and was able to make an appointment for 4:00. I got to their location and was told that their A/C guy was out for the week. Pretty irritating to make an appointment, take off work early, drive a half hour, to be told “sorry” with a shoulder shrug.

Been using Express Oil Change for a long while. Very reputable business. Have used the Allandale location on W Stone Drive and Colonial Heights location. I had major repairs done to my Kia a few months ago at the W Stone Drive location -thank you! Employees at both locations are friendly, honest and know what they’re doing. My last visit was at Colonial Heights location for an oil change. Kudos to AJ and Dakota. They went out of their way to check on a request I had concerning the transmission fluid while I was there. Thanks, guys! I will be a return customer for a long time.

I came in close to closing time, there was someone in front of me AND my hood latch is broken so it's almost impossible to get it open. They still took the time to get my hood open and even stayed over business hours to make sure my truck was good. Overall, I'm impressed. I will absolutely be going back in the future

I have been bringing my car here for several years and the service is always outstanding. All the guys are super friendly and will explain things very well. I always get my regular oil changes here but not only that, I will run over here if I just need a fluid topped off or a light goes out. They are always fast and very kind! This company lost a lifetime customer today. I have been bringing my vehicle to Express Oil Change for 5 years and this specific store which is a franchised small business for 3 years. Today I went in for a simple tire rotation and oil change and ended up also needing a belt. They told me it would be no more than an hour for everything. When they took my tires off for the rotation apparently they found an issue with a stripped rear wheel stud however no one bothered to come and tell me and after over an hour of seeing my car just sitting without anyone working on it I asked the assistant manager (I believe his name was Travis) what was going on that I had now been there almost two hours. He apologized but in a snarky tone and passed blame onto a different employee. I’ve been there many many many times and whenever there is an issue it’s always the manager on duty (usually Aaron) who comes to discuss it with me. It has never in all my time going to this location been any other person but the manager. The assistant manager finally told me that they were working on finding the part but never bothered to discuss cost with me until after which he stated it would be 1.5 hours of labor at $180 but that they would waive it due to the lack of communication then said it would only take 30 minutes to repair which is shady in itself. He also stated it was dangerous to drive with the part missing. After another 30 minutes or so he came back and told me that they couldn’t find the exact part but found a front one and they were going to try that. I explained that I have a job interview tomorrow and it was 3.5 hours away and I couldn’t miss it. He then said that I shouldn’t drive more than around town with the part missing and that he would call himself to try and find the part. After sitting for over 3 hours I was finally told that they couldn’t find the part anywhere and that “it should be fine” I said to him earlier you said that it was dangerous to drive that distance without the part but now it should be fine because you can’t find it? He was extremely rude and yelled at me and said I don’t know what you want me to do I can’t find the part. He was unprofessional and tried to back peddle saying if it were him he’d drive with the missing part. To be honest I understand when parts can’t be found , I’ve had similar situations previously but it’s always been handled with professionalism and kindness for me it’s the way this assistant manager handled the situation and the way he treated me and lied. I have always trusted this store to take care of my car and minus my very first experience at this store with a different employee who no longer works there (I was apologized to by the manager and store owner for that situation) I have always been treated well and enjoyed my experience. Today destroyed all my trust in this store and I will never bring my vehicle back here for service.

I have been coming to express oil change since 2019. Every time I have arrived I have brought older vehicles and the technicians expertly and wisely take care of them so that I've been able to get well over 100,000 miles on them. The crew and technicians are all very thorough, conscientious and very insightful. If they spot something that could break in the next 5,000 miles, they let me know and I tell them to fix it and this ensures me my vehicle will keep running great. I cannot say enough positive things about this particular team and company but I do most strongly recommend people to utilize their services for their vehicles.

I made an 1130am (earliest available today) appointment to get my brakes replaced because this location is near my home. I was called before my morning of to be asked if I could drop my vehicle and get a ride home instead of waiting on my repair (stated in my appointment scheduling) because they accidentally triple booked the time slot. About 1:25pm I finally received a call stating that they had looked at my nissan rogue, and that all 4 tires needed new brake pads, which would be just shy of $800 pre-tax. While this was very high compared to other local pricing, I needed my brakes changed out, they said it was already on the lift, and promised (again) that it would be done today. My wife had scheduled my birthday dinner today at 5pm, and at 4:08pm, I called before we left for the night to see if it was possible to stop in and pay ahead of time, and then just pick it up after they were closed. I was told no, that they did not want to take a chance on under charging what I was was already quoted, but that they were on the test drive with my vehicle, so it should be done in just a few minutes, and that they would call me to verify it was complete and let me know if they had to add anything to the price. It is now 2.5 hours later, they are closed, I have heard nothing from them, and I still do not have my vehicle. The absurdity of agreeing to pay excessively over market value for convenience/time-savings and then pick this location that couldn't get brakes changed in a 6.5 hour window with an appointment. I will never use this location again, and I would not reccomend anyone else taking that chance either.

I was on my way home from a trip to Texas. My car said it required an oil change. Google found this spot for me that was not far from my route home. I quickly was checked in, waited for my turn into the bay, and they quickly changed the oil. They only did an oil change. They didn't try to upsell me. They didn't recommend different repairs either. They also offer a veteran's discount.

I am remiss in getting the name of our technician on my first trip, however he was great. Shout out to Bryan on our second visit. I called and scheduled an appointment on a Friday for the following tuesday. When I showed up they claim that they don't have any record of my appointment. I looked in my phone and called the phone number that I called on Friday to make sure that I hadn't called the wrong location. They called back it was the right location they had no record that I had made the appointment. The manager that I spoke with informed me that they had a second location. He stated that he could get me into that location today to take care of my brakes. He told me that he would call that location and let them know that I was on my way. I showed up to that location nobody had called and they tell me that they can't get me in today because they're too busy. This is a complete and utter lack of professionalism and competence.
