Brought my truck in to replace the ignition . When I got my truck back, I no longer had cruise control and my steering wheel lock no longer worked . When I asked about it .He stated he had disconnected it . Now I want them to fix it and they can't even return a phone call . This is bullshit

I'm posting this here and on the Phillipston one because they're both involved. We rented a uhaul on Thursday and they jerked me around for over an hour trying to get the truck I rented. The central MA uhaul dispatcher(?) didn't call me an hour before my pick up time like they're supposed to to tell me my truck hadn't been returned, so I drove all the way to Fitchburg (30 minutes out of my way) because he told me that I couldn't pick up the truck I wanted at the original location, so I get there assuming nothing was wrong, but oh look, no truck. The clerks here were pretty dismissive of how big of an issue with was for me and efficiently told me Thera nothing they can do but call the guy who had rented my truck and fine him. So after taking to the clerks at Desilets I had to wait 15 minutes when I was already on a tight schedule for the dispatcher to call me and tell me that they don't know where my truck was. Then the dispatcher tells me I have to rent a smaller truck because they just don't have any, and supposedly the ONLY one in the area is ANOTHER 30 minutes away. So all in all I was an hour late getting to my movers. So I had to pay for another hour, all because he didn't call me like they're supposed to and tell me my truck hadn't gotten dropped off. And to add insult to injury the truck they gave me was a death trap! The steering is way too lose which causes you to have to over correct constantly, when I would try to slow down the engin would Rev up to 4, and even unloaded it had trouble with hills, fully loaded I was going 25 mpg through most of the way through Mass. It'll be a cold day in hell before I rent from them again. I'm going with Penske from now on.

Very professional and the work they do is great, A lot of shops lack communication but they kept me updated and made sure I was ok with the price and the work they needed to do they have my respect and earned every dollar of mine! I had a manifold leak, rear seals, brakes, calipers and a few other things done on a 2000 ford they did a great job

I purchased a van on 10/21/23, with a new transmission. Driving it home the vehicle downshifted continuously. Returned it to Desilets on Monday 10/23/23. I called this morning and spoke with the manager because the owner wasn't in (?) and received more excuses about it being available mid week next week! These are the same excuses we have received for a month. This is a vehicle used for work and without it there is no chance to complete jobs. Yet Desilets doesn't really care to expedite the process! I am not sure how much repair work they do "in house" since they have supposedly sent this vehicle out to other vendors. They have not been customer friendly at all and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone! Very poor service, actually NO service! I was forced to give them a star but believe me, it isn't warranted.

I was traveling through mass from Maine to Florida and my coolant sensor went. I couldn’t get the screw off for nothing. I had went to two other mechanic shops and no one wanted to help me. But Eric didn’t even hesitate. Not only did he get the screw undone, but he did the whole job! 💜This man was a God send and has no idea how much what he did truly meant. I will never forget him.

The receptionist was very friendly and professional. I went for a state inspection around 8:15 AM, which turned out to be the perfect time no line, and they completed it quickly. The inspector was efficient, worked fast, and was also very courteous. I highly recommend coming here!

First time ever going there today. Just needed a simple inspection, after i did all the things needed new front end work new tires new lights everything they try to tell me my e-brake is "failing" kinda funny cause my uncle in a head mechanic and has been for 25 years. He said there was nothing wrong. Brought it to another place and it passed. My best advice to u guys is instead of scamming people for some extra money why don't u be honest working people that new comers will trust so u have customers that WANT to come back. Good luck to u guys. I'll never be coming back

Was here for the first time about September of last year to get an inspection. My car didn't pass due to a suspension issue, which the mechanic couldn't give me more information about at that time. I was confused about this as I would have thought they would know the issue if it failed. Regardless, I made an appointment with them to fix the suspension issue. The receptionist is amazing and really sweet, I was able to get an appointment within 2 weeks. They diagnosed the issue, then contacted me to ensure I understood and wanted to proceed with the fix. I really appreciated the straightforwardness. Ive had no issues with them trying to sell me on other stuff I didn't need. And The prices were all very reasonable. They even texted me as a follow up, maybe a few days or a week later, after the work was done to make sure everything was good and working still 👍 And I've also gotten a text reminder for oil changes! In my experience, I feel that Desilet's is a place you can trust to do good work and also help to be proactive in the maintenance of your vehicle. I will definitely be going back here for the rest of my auto needs!

I was so nervous I needed a new Transmission in my 2017 GMC Sierra! I brought it in with the description of it chattering up hills. Great customer service on the phone and while dropping off/picking up. They took the time to look into what could be the problem and not just saying “screw it, let’s just change the transmission!” Turns out it just needed a Transmission temp sensor! Saved me so much stress and $$!! Next day I had my truck back! 10/10 for service! Thank you all for everything!!

Fast but after my inspection I noticed a crack on my windshield that they claim was there before my inspection but didn’t mention anything about it after telling me my car passed no issues. I went back to show them video footage from my dash cam of their employee being very rough scrapping my old sticker off and they said “we’ll look at our own cameras and get back to you on what we find out” never called me back. They deny damage done by them so they are not reliable for their own mistakes. Don’t go here!!!

Spent 4K for them to repair my car, and they kept giving it back to me with the light on. I told them several times not to bother calling me until they are sure its fixed. Ultimately I traded it in because they failed to fix it. ALSO, my BROTHER had Desilets put new brakes put on last year. He went to a different mechanic and the mechanic told him he’s been driving on his rotors for OVER A YEAR. THIS PLACE IS ROBBING YOU! DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE!!!

I took my car to Desilets to have my air conditioner fixed . It was previously "fixed " at another place . They charged $800 ! It failed again after a fee days! I was told that it would be $1,200 dollars because the system was gone! Desilets fixed the problem for under $150 !! Finding a mechanic that you can trust is like Finding treasure !! The staff was great and explained everything for me with patience . I highly recommend this business!

I came here to get an oil leak fixed. I left my vehicle ,and received a call an hour or two later. They told me what was leaking and how they were going to fix it. What i liked was when they ased me if i wanted to fix a few other things. I said yes because the items they suggested would make my van safer to drive. They rotated my tires, completely fixed my oil pan and gasket. They changed the oil and filter, they fixed a manifold leak and did the state vehicle inspection. The total price for all was fair and not inflated at all. I am happy with the sevice i received.
