Great shop, It was the only shop I could find in Jackson county that works with the new Freon system "R1234y" for my 2017 civic. And i'm glad I found them my local Honda dealership in lee's summit wanted over $500 to try to find the problem with my cars AC where Dilday was able to fix my car for 1/5 the price. Thanks again guys can't tell you how much stress that took off my shoulders.

I went looking for my old post and cannot find it, however I'm compelled to reshare my experience as it has certainly changed. A number of years ago I went to this facility for some A/C repairs, after they were completed and I was picking up my vehicle I felt I was being double charged for the A/C Recharge. The guy at the front counter told me that's just how we charge for things here, so I came to google and left my review stating how I would not return due to the fact I was double charged. Yesterday I received a phone call from the owner about this review, he felt he needed to call me and discuss in further detail. folks this happened a few years ago so I was kind of amazed I was getting a call now, low and behold he stated that they had made a mistake and in fact had over charged me for a repair. He apologized and said he wanted to give me either store credit, cash or a check, I was amazed to even hear about it let alone get a refund. For a company to take the time some years later to reach out and make things right speaks volumes, you don't find very many honest people that want to make it right these days. so I must retract my previous one star complaint review and have changed that to 4 stars. May not have agreed with them then but to stand up and admit you were wrong is huge, for that I say thank you and hears to many more years for your business.

My recently deceased husband started using them for everything with his F150 & my '06 Taurus. I believe the man he always dealt with is named either David or Dale. My husband was retired from Ford, very particular about who he used for any vehicle repairs etc. They were honest to deal with and reasonably priced. They have key drop so you can drop off your car if not open. I highly recommend.

Issue with boost on 2015 Ford F150 Truck goes into limp mode & throws code when pulling trailer under load. Dropped off first time for 3 days & needed it back for the weekend. So dropped off a second time & still was not able to tell me anything but paid them $230. Took it back up a third time with trailer to make it throw code & drove it with mechanic. Onwer says at this point turbos need to be replaced which I was fine with. He was supposed to give me a price on parts/labor upgrades, after a couple weeks, I call them & onwer says I need to remind him….I guess I thought that’s what I was doing, I still have not seen a price so took it somewhere else local was able to fix it without replacing turbos. Saved me thousands! I’ve had pretty good luck in the past with Dilday & recommended them to several people but won’t make that mistake again.

Was referred here by Christian Brothers, who have been extra busy lately. Dropped my SUV off and they had it fixed and back to me within a few hours. And the cost wasn't much either. The catalytic converters on my truck were stolen in their lot and they charged me to replace them. It has happened on their lot many times before and they told me the business next door had the catalytic converters stolen off of 17 vehicles, so they are aware of the danger. They tried to charge me $2,800 to replace them and repair the damage. When I refused, the owner kept saying, "What did I do wrong?" I responded, "You knew the danger. You didn't warn me. You didn't put my truck inside and what did I do wrong?" He then agreed to reduce the charge "only" $2,000 and I just paid that to get it over with. They do actually do good work there. If you go there, I would suggest you get it in writing that they will put your vehicle inside over night.

You know when you are looking for a place if you have moved or you are just over the place you have been in the past who really aren't doing it for your automotive needs anymore...don't sweat it! Dilday is the place to go! They are very trustworthy, great on price and they won't do unnecessary work and charge you for it! They also work on boats which is awesome! The people who own and operate this business truly care about their customers. They have repaired my car over the years quickly and correctly. Always reasonably priced. As a woman, I appreciate that I can Confidently be assured that they are always honest After having a “fender bender” I drove into their lot and the owner and manager came out and spent 25 minutes making my car safe and drivable until a body shop could work me in as we had 8” of snow and they were backed up! When they were finished I followed them inside to pay. They looked at me and said, “Merry Christmas!” No charge. I’d been a good customer of theirs for many years! This says a lot about the quality and humanity of this business. I strongly refer anyone who needs car repairs to give them a try. You won’t be sorry. I posted before and after pics on Facebook to say how much I appreciate these kind people!

I can not speak highly enough of Dilday Automotive!!! I have had my car serviced there twice now and each time I have felt so comforted and reassured by the staff. As a twenty-something’s single woman, car shops are always daunting to me and give me lots of anxiety. Dilday makes sure to explain exactly what’s going on to me and they have never ever overcharged me. In fact, they have told me not to spend money on certain things that they didn’t think were necessary, which I have never experienced at any other car shop. Their communication and professionalism is top notch and you really can’t beat the pricing. They are extremely fair and understanding!
