We had the front suspension replaced and took our car here for an alignment afterwards. Sat there for 2 hours waiting, just for them to tell me they couldn't do it and that the suspension was put on incorrectly and everything was loose. They quoted us $500 just to tighten what they said was loose. Nothing is loose on it. We had everything rechecked at another mechanic and everything was tightened to the correct ft lbs torque. Do not take your vehicle here. They try to get over on people and waste your time.

The staff at McCarthy Hyundai were cordial and professional as expected. They are currently working in VERY different (difficult, in my opinion) conditions due to renovations, and I commend them for keeping their composure in a vastly different environment throughout their work schedules. I recently took my vehicle to McCarthy Hyundai for routine service following an extensive road trip. Prior to our trip, my husband kindly and generously purchased new tires for my vehicle from McCarthy Hyundai. Both experiences were positive ones.

Only take your vehicle here if you want to be ripped off. Andrew is a liar and takes advantage of customers. Why would I need 3 oil changes? One at 19,000; one at 21,000; and one at 24,000? Unfortunately, my husband was very ill and I was trying to keep up with the warranty. I trusted him. Big mistake. He saw gray on top and completely took advantage. While we were trying desperately to get our car and get out, Andrew made us wait and wait and wait, while he did other things and took care of other customers. His actions were nothing short of antagonistic. I finally got so angry I found myself getting louder and louder asking for help. It eventually became clear that he was trying to make me look bad and make himself look like a victim. Well done. I will be contacting corporate about your business practices.

They charge an EXTRA 3% if you use a credit card but they didn't lower their prices by 3% as that credit card charge was embedded in the price before. So essentially they're gouging you for an extra 3% and contributing to inflation. They also charge $3.99 for document storage. That means you are paying to store you own invoices (the trade off is that they'll print your invoices for you, going back as far as you want in time). Previously, they only stored your invoices for 5 years, now it's "forever".

Great service and friendliness from the team at Blue Springs Hyundai. The sales team was very good about answering my questions and prepping the vehicle. Andrew Barreto was excellent to work with and he went beyond the call-of-duty to deliver the vehicle all the way across the city to us! There was a major ice/snow storm coming in over the weekend and he went out of his way to provide EXCELLENT service by making certain we had the vehicle before the storm hit. WOW! He was very professional, knowledgeable, very helpful and easy to work with. Thanks to all for making this a very pleasant experience. We were impressed. Andrew is a real asset to McCarthy's. Keep up the great work.

Actually, my rating is 2.5 but that's not an option here. This dealership would have 4 stars if not for Robbie, one of the guys at the stand up desks in the service department. I/we have always had good interactions with everyone except him, no matter what we need to have done. From oil changes to repairs, if he is the one handling the initial set up/sign in, there is ALWAYS an attitude as if he is being put out. If he is working, and they have my car, I can't get a call update on my needed service work. I always have to call first, then leave a message, and then he will call back in minutes. The last time this happened, I asked for specifics of needed repairs, how they came about the diagnosis, other options, etc because I was taking notes to give to my husband to review, and there was just this tone and attitude from Robbie. It's frustrating because I have been going to this place for years, but now I may be faced with looking elsewhere because I don't trust that we're being dealt with fairly by Robbie or anyone connected to him about my car. The other guys are great, friendly, and helpful. They answer questions and approach very professionally, even kid around some. If I could trust my baby to just them I would. These are my experiences.

Absolute worst experience with getting a car fixed in my life. The body shop I took my car to sent it here to get it calibrated and they ordered the wrong parts three different times. Put the parts in wrong multiple times and ended up taking two months longer than expected to fix it. Within a week of getting it back it had issues so they sent it back and now it needs to go to a different dealership. It can’t go there yet because a car that’s “not in their system” is in front of it. They called a tow truck to move the car but it won’t be here for an hour and the dealership will be closed by then. Absolutely no customer service in addition to these problems. Everytime I call I get sent to voicemail, leave a voicemail, and never get called back.

We will no longer have our (4) Hyundai's serviced at McCarthy Hyundai Service & Parts. Without getting into the details, it seems my daughter was taken advantage of in response to us declining the recommended service. The amount paid for the diagnostic was three times the amount agreed upon at drop-off. Unfortunately I couldn't be there for the pick-up and as a result my daughter was taken advantage of. My wife and I have reached out multiple times, to multiple people, to give McCarthy the opportunity to make this right. Unfortunately, they have chosen to ignore our requests, calls, emails, and texts. It appears our loyalty and business are not worth the trouble. Moving forward, my family will be taking our four Hyundai's somewhere else for service; somewhere without the McCarthy name on the sign, and we would suggest to anyone reading this, to consider doing the same.

Would not use for service. Called around looking for mechanic with availability, they gave me a 12:45 appointment, had vehicle towed in, only to have them wait two weeks before looking at it... Then recommended a new battery, oil change and air filter when we had it towed in because it would start and then die immediately. They tested the battery and it passed but recommended a new one as it was an after market battery. Bring your car here if you need a parking lot, not a mechanic!

My husband and I were driving through MO on our way to DC when the driver-side windshield wiper nearly got blown off during a deluge of rain and strong wind. Luckily, we got off the 5-lane highway, took the next exit which brought us to Blue Springs, MO. We were so happy to find a close Hyundai dealership as we drive a Hyundai Elantra. We drove to McCarthy Hyundai Service and Parts in Blue Spring, MO. We arrived near closing time and the shop was full of other cars. I spoke to Raymond about our situation (a time-constraint to visit our son recently back from Africa on a deployment), and asked him for help. He kindly and promptly decided to have a mechanic, Jorge, take a look, in case it was a quick-fix. Luckily, it was. I am extremely dissatisfied with both Hyundai USA customer service and your dealership’s service department. From the beginning, I clearly informed you that this vehicle has a rebuilt title. I also explained — and you are well aware — that many Hyundai Sonata engines experience serious issues between 60,000 and 90,000 miles. Before bringing the vehicle in, I sent engine light report given by another repairmen. As a result of this service visit, I am left with nothing but additional problems and expenses. I paid out of pocket for towing to your dealership and again to return the vehicle home, as well as approximately $175 for the engine light diagnostic. What is even more concerning is that several engine screws were not reinstalled after your inspection. I share photos as proof. Before the visit, my car was able to start without issue. After your service, the car no longer starts. When I called, I was told this might be due to the battery, I am no longer confident that the vehicle will start even if the battery is charged. In short, my car was running before I brought it to your service department. Now it is not. I have lost both time and money, and the condition of my car has worsened after your service.
