I had an amazing experience at this location. I call to verify that to tire I wanted, a continental, was in stock. Austin helped me and recommend a tire, Yokohama, that was better for me. He made sure I had great traction for rainy days and longevity for my long distance drive. I appreciate his expertise and knowledge. When I arrived at the location it was visible that this location is going through a major remold. However everyone I interacted with was courteous, helpful, and very pleasant. Also they have a great text messaging system that shows you step by step where your car is.

I was attended by the store manager and booked an appointment prematurely for a balance and rotation. Upon arrival I checked in and it was suggested that my two front tires be replaced soon. I advised the manager that I should be replacing possibly no later than December late January and with that said he suggested that I would wait to do the balance and rotation. However, mind you he didn’t check when was the last time I had one done, and failed to ask me if there was any issues I had been experiencing. Which I was, that’s why I took it into begin with. However, I told him that I still needed the service performed because that’s what is advertised when buying tires. I would recommend not offering a free balance and rotation in your sales if it’s not something that you’re offering pro bono without expecting a sale out it. Then he proceeds to say “ well you don’t want an experts help”, in a sarcastic attitude. The commented is self-centered and rude, no one even under estimated that he wasn’t, he just decided to put himself on a pedestal. Won’t be going back to this location. You can be an alleged expert but lack common human decency which makes your position less credible. I would go somewhere else where you can get a kind expert!

Eric is the man! I bought a new F150 at the beginning of the year, so all maintenance is currently covered by the dealership (yay.. :/). They told me I needed a new tire (10k miles only) as I had a screw in one of mine too close to the side wall (almost 2 inches from the edge of the tire). Tire wasn't leaking and Eric also said that they would've been able to patch the hole if it was. He removed the screw without causing any damage, and pointed out that it didn't even puncture my tire. My tire has kept air perfectly the past couple of days and I have had no issues! He saved me $300 on not having to buy a brand new tire, like Ford said I needed. Thank you so much Eric!

Yet another example of why I go to Discount Tire. They cheerfully greeted me as I walking in the door. Informed me they would get me checked in next. The tire in question was a warranty issue and they handled it without any hassle. I was charged just the road hazard fee on the replacement tire and that was it. This was on a Saturday when they were very busy. I was informed it would be approx 2 hour wait, which I was prepared for. After about an hour and 45 minutes they were completed with the tire replacement and rotation. Every tire I have bought since I moved to Texas is from Discount Tire. They have earned a customer for life. They continue to give me quality service even if it's a free repair.

Changed all four tires over here and they not only lost the tire cap, didn't even bother to let me know what happened. I found out, when the tire signal came out only for that tire. Horrible!

Took 4 hours to have my tires changed, when I brought and provided my own tires. Tried to charge me more than what I was originally quoted. Original quote when I called the first time was $131. Second time with the appointment being made and with my account linked I was told it would be $156. When I asked what the difference was, the man just muttered about moving numbers around for me and wouldn't give a straight answer. As well the man on the phone continued to tell me how their tires were cheaper and I should have ordered through them. Even though that isn't true, the exact tires I wanted on their website cost more than where I got mine (Amazon). He kept telling me how I could have gotten much cheaper tires. Great, I could pick out cheap tires I didn't ask for or want. Not the same kind of tire that I bought for a reason. Can I just have my appointment? Thanks.

I had an incident where two of my tires were sliced open at the same time. I got towed to the Discount Tire at 1905 N Central Expy McKinney, TX 75070. The inside staff looked over the tires and said they'd replace both of the under warranty without a problem. I was able to talk to the Service Technician and he treated my car like it was a Maserati even though it's a 26 year old junker. Regardless, it's my everday and only driver, one owner car! I worry about other places that don't take my car seriously because of it age, 283,000 miles, looks and condition. But this Discount Tire took care of me. It was a pleasant surprise. Not all locations are the same but I'll be back to this one. I've been with Discount Tire for over 20 years. Thank you Discount Tire in McKinney, Texas on the westside of Hwy 75.

Scheduled appt for new tires. Met with the consultant regarding 4 new tires for my car. Was quoted a price I was happy with and payed for the tires. After 10 minutes of sitting and waiting for my vehicle to be worked on. The representative got my attention and told me he actually only charged me for 2 tires and that the price I was told for my 4 new tires was actually double what I was quoted. He then asked me if I wanted to purchase the 2 additional tires. Quite unprofessional. I was in the store and was going to purchase tires for my second vehicle also. After this I will be shopping elsewhere for my tires

First time ever doing business with discount tire. I understand that this location is rather busy since it is off the expressway however, the service could be a little bit better that wheels tire on Monday due to having to get them because of the snowstorm needed to bring back old tires in order to put sensors inside came today around Two thirtyish. Wasn’t seen until 3 o’clock to speak to a worker was passed over by two of the other workers and they helped three other customers. Finally the worker Corey was like I’m so sorry for the wait and he assisted me but i was unable to get service today due to the wait for my car. Set the way will be an hour however, the other coworker that assisted the other customer that came in after me was told that his service will only take 15 to 20 minutes and that they can get him in right away.So made an appointment for tomorrow instead hopefully my experience will be better.

So Happy!! I came in on a Monday, Jeffery was so great he scheduled my appointment for the same week. I was greeted by Cody the day of who was so kind, he took a look at my car, identified where the nail was. They patched and filled all my tires free of charge. Avoid at all cost... Brought our Work Van! Waiting here since 11:30 AM. Writing this at 2PM Advisor on purpose put check in time at 2:35 to 2:55. Got approval to change 2 tires from the TPT vendor of our company that didn't need to be replaced. Got additional approval for Wipers. Car was brought in for just a Nail in Tire!!!!!! Save your Time and Take it else Where! Atleast mom and pop shops are fast!

This location has great customer service and is probably the best Discount Tire I have been to. Everyone I encountered/heard was respectful, friendly, and helpful. I have been a loyal customer for years and have lived in 3 different states. I have been to several locations in the past, and I have waited well over 3 hours for the same kind of thing. They were pretty quick with my tire change that I walked in for without an appointment. (Maybe an hour and a half at most) Travis was a great help with everything I needed, and I appreciate his great customer service.

Horrible experience – stay away if you care about your wheels If you have low profile wheels, especially dipped black wheels, do not bring your car here. I brought mine in and Discount Tire bent one of my wheels. Josh, one of the managers, kept denying it and saying their machines could never bend a wheel. What he didn’t know is that I used to work for Discount Tire for 4 years in high school and college, so I know exactly what happens in the back. I even recorded a video of every wheel before dropping off my car just so I would have proof. When I showed Josh the before-and-after video, he finally admitted that the wheel was bent by their team. His solution? He told me I’d need to bring my car back and drop off the wheel so they could send it off for repairs. Are you kidding me? They damage my wheel and then expect me to waste more time and leave my car sitting? To make matters worse, I just got back in my car and now my front left wheel is vibrating. So not only did they bend one wheel, but whatever they did has now caused new issues that I have to get fixed. It definitely will not be at this location. This place is careless and dishonest until they are backed into a corner with proof. I will never come back, and I would warn anyone with custom, low profile, or dipped wheels to avoid this location completely.

We got a early appointment and it was easy to get in and out. We walked across to a restaurant while we waited for it to be completed. Excited for new "shoes" for the truck. We pre ordered Cooper mud tires. My husband has custom wheels so we left the wheel lock. It was done quickky, in less than an hour! My husband checked out and retrieved the wheel locks, he being knowledgeable about his truck, he check to make sure the wheel lock was back. Inside was a screw to the cover. The tech never mentioned anything! Had my husband not checked thw bag we would have walked out without knowing and now we addresses the problem. My husband asked and the tech commented that "DT hasnt touched the the truck in 3 years." How do you know? We've never had a problem and now it's hanging off after you changed the tires! So him and I walk over to inspect it again and he luckily had purchased extra screws 4 years ago when he replaced thw wheels. I witnessed him open a new pack of screws! He goes to put it in and the hole is stripped. They denied all of it. So off to Home Depot to see if WE CAN FIX IT.
