I told them what was going on with my car. They looked at it and told me exactly what the problem was. In fact it wasn't a transmission problem at all. They could of tried to get me for a lot of money but they didn't and that means a lot to me. I definitely will be going back when I get my new transmission.

I came here to get an estimate done on my transmission as it had a leak. They told me the main concern was my power steering line. I had replaced my power steering line a couple months ago and haven't had any issues with it since. I took my car else where and they told me my transmission coolant line had to be replaced as it was rusted out and was the cause of the leak. How does a transmission place not know what the casue was but an auto body place does?

They are the best around. Worth the price. I have all my Transmissions overhauled and service there. Never had a problem.

I have worked on my own vehicles since I was a young man (and I'm 60 now). While I was travelling from NJ to NC, I had a problem that I was sure was due to a problem with the transmission. I brought my truck to Dixon's Transmission and they checked it over and told me it wasn't a transmission problem. They referred me to a different shop to have the problem fixed. They could have easily misled me, but they were honest. I would recommend them any day.

Our 1st day of family vacation traveling from SC to DC began with our suburban transmission giving up on us…on a Sunday no less. We happen to have a friend in the area and suggested Dixon’s. We rented a car, had the suburban towed, and continued on our trip. I called Dixon’s the next day and was treated so well. They were quick to diagnose and even arranged to have the work done by the time we came back thru town at the end of our trip. These guys took the stress of leaving our car behind and not knowing what would happen and allowed us to enjoy our vacation. We will be forever indebted to Dixon’s and the kindness they showed.

My Dad buys their scap and they are very good at making it easy for him I did a few pick ups for him and the folks I dealt with were extremely helpful and kind. My Dad had broken his leg and they were truly concerned about his health and how he was doing. Thanks to the shop and the rest who helped me load and especially for the concern for my dad and for the continued care and help now that he is back to it.

Had a great experience - excellent service and turnaround time. Would definitely recommend and take my other vehicles there if anything happened.

I dropped off my 2015 challenger to have work done on clutch. I supplied so all they had to do was the labor, they did it for a very reasonable price. I even asked to examine the old parts, and they had no problem with that at all. The shop is very clean, people are all friendly. Just note they prefer cash payment, card has a 3% extra charge. That's kinda annoying but oh well. Edit, since then I've had them rebuild my transmission on my 89 bronco, and help me source parts for the transfer case I was working on. They are very friendly and helpful and I would recommend them for any transmission related work.

I have no proof they did anything at all to my vehicle. I paid $175 for transmission flush and sealant. When I got my vehicle back the transmission fluid was as dirty looking as before. I just don't trust them. You needed to show me a before and after... Wouldn't recommend them. And P.S. the transmission broke down 4 days later, thankfully just as I got off of the highway. Unbelievable 🙃

Took my truck here for a diagnostic. They were awesome and honest. However I didn't think my truck was worth the money to rebuild the transmission. The staff here was great 👍!

These guys are awesome! Dropped my car off on a Monday. Asked them what my chances of having it by Friday night since I was using it to go out of town. Shouldn't be a problem they said. Thursday afternoon it was finished, and that was working with a warranty company. Extremely professional and informative. Their prices are also very competitive. Will definitely be using them in the future. Nice to see there's still good people out there willing to treat people with respect.

Our transmission failed on the way home from the beach. Our vehicle was towed to Dixon's on Monday and was ready by Wednesday morning. They kept in contact with us throughout the process. They are very knowledgeable, and we are very appreciative of their professionalism.

Transmission wanna - be's. Total amateurs. Charged me $2000 for a torque converter. Drove it off lot doing the same thing it did when I took it there. Kept it couple days took it back saying it was not fixed. They accepted no responsibility and laughed at me for suggesting a repayment. That not being enough they old me to leave the property. Bait and switch con artists. Read the other reviews. I fixed my own problem. Sea Foam and high test gasoline. They will reap what they sow.

Dropped my truck off with no working 3rd gear (code P0757) off at 9 am and they fixed it before 2:30 for a very reasonable price. Great honest guys and great work.

I have an old Mazda Tribute that I just won’t give up on. In 2013, Dixon replaced the kaput transmission, and ever since, it’s been perfect. Until a few weeks ago, then it had to warm up to get solidly to going into gear. I took it by Dixon’s, Russell helped out, turns out it was just a hose that needed replacing, a minimal charge, and BOOM, back on the road. These guys are great.

I took my 2023 Ford explorer there for transmission issue. Russell is very kind. He test drove it and called tech line to find out what to do with my transmission.

Thumbs up to these guys. Had my transmission fluid changed at the local Ford dealership on my 2018 F150 with 130000 miles. Shortly after, had a grinding/rubbing noise at low speeds. Took back to dealership about the noise, after a $200 diagnostic fee, they said I needed a new transmission at a mere $12,000! Took to Dixon's for a second opinion, turned out transmission fluid was 2 quarts low, $30 fix and no more grinding noise and shifts better than ever. Apparently dealership under filled at fluid change and didn't check the fluid level on the diagnosis. Thanks Dixon for saving me $12k.
