Be very upfront on pricing before starting the work. Brought my own oil/filter and my own transmission oil, charged me for $100 labor at the end for drain and fill the two oil in about 45min. Keep in mind previous time, he only charged $25 labor for oil change with my own parts.

Great service, superior knowledge of most automobiles, fair deal on tires, batteries, and most parts. Danny and staff are experienced mechanics and very helpful. Reasonable prices on parts and labor. Good location and easy to find. Recommend you back the car in to be able to drive out. Enjoy.

Was able to detect my auto issues right away after SpeeDee in San Bruno could not figure out why my wheels were squeaking even after a forced $500 brake service. He showed me what was wrong, explained to me what I could do to fix it, so that I don't have to spend more money again. They were kind, thorough, and quick. Let them fix my car as I didn't mind spending money on real professional work.

Danny the owner is the man. I've been coming to DRS since he's been open,,,yup about 35 years. Danny has always taken care of all my cars and trucks. He's even works on my mom's car. I have a 1977 Blazer that was non op and hasn't started in 18 years. Danny got it back to snuff and road ready.... Always honest and always a gentleman... Because of this, I always return. Give Danny a try, you won't be sorry!

A solid 5 star visit! We came in just before closing to get a new tire. He looked at it and said he might have one left in the back, he looked and sure enough he had it! The work he did was quick and he did a fine job, he didn't mind me asking questions while he was working either. And to top off this place was cheaper than the other 3 places we looked at first!

Got to the shop at 4:49 and asked for a tire repair. The guy said no were closed. I showed him that the time online said that they close at 5:30. He said, he did not care and that I'm on his time. I went in good faith willing to give him money for a service but obviously he could care less for how he talks to a potential customer. If he knows the time online is wrong, then fix it. Do not mistreat what could have been a customer. NEVER coming back.

They charged me $1400 to fix my brakes. I found it pretty funny. For context, the car was a 20 year-old Nissan. I was quoted $800 over the phone, then charged $1400 when I went to pick the car up.

Went in to fix a flat tire. They took out two nails and fixed it quickly at a very reasonable price. Next day we noticed it was still deflating a bit and came back and they found a third shard and fixed that complementary. He also pointed out part of our plastic cover for the wheel was broken. Great experience and honest. Would recommend

When I brought my car in they told me it was only going to be 1200 and then I come back for my car and they charge me 1600 and obviously they have my car so I had no choice but to give them 1600. Worst experience ever. Highly do not recommend there's another auto shop across the street that's way better. Youre welcome

He's also very upfront about what kinds of jobs they're not equipped for, so when I needed a body shop, we asked for his recommendation (SSF ProColor) and they were great. Danny Salonga is the owner of this repair shop. He is a very dishonest man, a total scammer. I dropped off my car at his place because I had a problem with my headlight. After a couple hours he called me back and stated that the headlight assembly (the complete headlight in plain english) itself has an issue. He said he will order a headlight. My car is a 2013 ford focus. Nothing fancy. Danny intentionally did not give the estimate. The headlight typically costs $100; $200 if you go out of your way; but his store decided to charge me $400 for this part. Initially, I assumed that the total price will be reasonable since it is a headlight + installation. Upon completion Danny calculated the total: $810. $400 for a freaking headlight + 410 labor! But being a "nice" guy Danny took ONLY $700 from me. This guy is a complete scammer. I urge you not to fix your car at this repair shop.
