Got my winters tires switched over. As soon as I got home my back tire was leaking air. Called them right back, 20min before closing 😬, and they said bring it in. Fantastic customer service. No one wants to work late, but I sure did appreciate it.

I was a customer of the ER automotive just a couple of days ago. I am always amazed by their wonderful customer service, and their honesty. They are super accurate, give great advice and recommendations. I just wish that they would open another shop in Anchorage but in the meantime, I will always drive to Eagle River. Thank you so much for the service well done.

Transmission replacement was delayed due to Alaska shipping, not their fault but communication was a little lacking when they were having manufacturer issues. Once the part was in the took care of it quick, but I'm not sure they test drove it before I picked it up as there were still problems with low end power, getting up to speed, transmission display, and no backup camera. They were easy to work with and got me right back in after the weekend, but we are now a week into "a day or two" ECM fix. I'd love to give them a higher rating but I'm now 3 months into a two week repair. Hopefully they are able to finish the project in a decent timeframe, but I know my friends that have been driving me around won't be using them any time soon.

services are great! they got me in quick and changed my oil! They were able to drop me off at my house while they were changing the oil! My car preformed better with this oil changed service then the others places in town. Over all outstanding place! Thank you.

I took my vehicle to Eagle River automotive repair because my radiator was leaking and overheating. I only drove my vehicle five times on the fifth day is star overheating, and I was only less than a mile away from my home, and I live in the outskirts of the Matsu, valley. I was lucky enough that a friend of mine, who is a mechanic Was kind enough to look over it to see what was wrong with it? I told him that they replace the hose and I think the pump. In the end I had to buy a new radiator and he was kind of put it in for me. he was bringing it back to me and it started overheating. Less than a quarter mile from his home. So he took it back to his house and he expect it and come to find out that the a hose didn’t have a clip and then and he also found other clips were loose. He aspiration were that they left loose so pressure was able to escape, and that the car was able to pass their pressure test. If you plan to take your vehicle there make sure you also plan taking it to other shop when they are done. I know it’s a waste of money and time, but in the long run, you know the work will be done correctly. P.S. If it was my choice no stars.

We damaged our car on our drive to Alaska. Walt and the crew took care of us and went above and beyond to help us! They were patient with us trying to navigate all of this as we were moving to Alaska. Thank you SO much. A very friendly welcome to Alaska.

Love ER AUTO! They are seriously the best. We tried a couple other places like Midas, Alaska Tire Service, Costco Tires, and Alyeska Tires, and while the other places had some pros and also cons, ER AUTO has had the BEST pricing, the BEST customer service, and the BEST scheduling! We love that we have been able to schedule FAR in advance for tire changeovers and don't have to wait on the phone for hours or call in 500 times as soon as it opens to try and schedule. They are always quick, and my kids love coming for their pets and their little hot cocoa/treat stand. Love them so much and don't want to go elsewhere!

I took my Kia Sorento to Eagle River Auto about 1 1/2 years ago and had my front brakes replaced. Did a great job and reasonably priced. Last Friday I was driving my Ford Focus from Anchorage to Big Lake when the tire sensor light started flashing. I was worried about what could happen so stopped at their shop and the owner had a tech come out and checked the tire pressure and assured me it was the battery in the tire sensor. I thanked them and asked how much I owed them. No charge. I will definitely use them for any repairs. Great shop!

Thank you agains for your help with my vehicle. God bless!!

Very rude! To the gentleman that I just spoke has no manners. I was explaining to him that it would be our first visits. We have total 4 vehicles. While I was explaining to him what we needed, he interrupted and said “first of all I need to get your last name” in a very rude way. I would not spend thousand of dollars to get my vehicles fixed somewhere where they can’t even have nice customer service. There are plenty shops around the area buddy! We wanted to schedule a mount and balance for 2 vehicles and we have an insurance claim for 3rd vehicle. Plus buy new summer tires for the 4th vehicle.

I had my 2017 Ram serviced here this past week and was very happy with the worked performed. I had an oil change and tire swap. Both were done on time and right. I would definitely recommend.

Do not use this shop. They are very unprofessional. My son needed some work done. He made an appointment 3 weeks ahead of time brought in the truck. They kept it all day and called at the end of the day and said they couldn't get the part. He even checked with them in the middle of the day and they still said it would be done. Then waited till the end of the day after they had the truck the whole day to tell him the part was sold out from under them. Very unprofessional

I’ve stopped going to ER auto due to their pricing. I was charged nearly $170 to check an engine code on my truck. I was charged $80 (30 mins labor) plus parts to change a cabin air filter (less than a 10 minute job). The cabin filter was not due for change and was done at the previous service (5,000mi prior). I was charged nearly $170 plus parts for an auto transmission fluid change. I didn’t ask for the ATF change, it wasn’t in the cars service book and was completed 10,000mi prior. The fluid change was completed while the car was getting an oil change and I was charged additional labor for the oil change, even though both jobs were complete at the same time. Haven’t had an issue with their workmanship outside of this but the pricing has taken a turn for the worse in the last 12 months. Edit: I can’t reply to the response from the owner to this review, however I sent an email before writing this review stating the exact shortcomings I wrote in this review. The email received no response from ER Automotive.

Customer Service: They come off rude, unfriendly and unpleasant. Cost: Diagnostic fee: $170.00 dollars (Free at Auto Zone!) You would think for the hour you pay for which is what I was told why it cost this much that it would be more than a code reading. (WRONG) Most auto shops will wave this fee if you decided to get the repair with them you don't pay this fee but not here. Cost: Coolant Flush: $430.00 dollars Every place in town will do this service for half the price trust me I asked. Here even the price of coolant itself is higher and I don’t understand why. Service: My car was "repaired" after driving my car 22 miles to work the issue came back. Like ERA posted… the code was read and they did in fact change out the thermostat reader BUT test driving the car further than around the corner or doing a visual inspection would have shown that my radiator was blown. They did tell me this was not covered in the diagnostic fee. I mean you would think they would do a once over, how did they miss this doing a COOLANT FLUSH?!? This service is unprofessional but the rates say otherwise. Advice: Go to Frontier Auto or the old QWIK lube! Frontier auto is cheaper and the old mechanic is super honest and will pro rate his hourly fee. The old Quik Lube is under new management and they are awesome and will give you video of where they damage is!

Brought in my Honda to have a slow tire leak fixed. $283.32 later, my tire no longer leaks. Well done ERAutomotive. You even charged me $96.52 for a tire stem. Amazon search shows a tire stem costs about $7.50. Definitely not returning here ever again.

Our go to, ability to get in last minute for an oil change. Prices match expected price with current market. Definitely recommend for service especially if you're in the Eagle River area.

My wife's vehicle went down on Thanksgiving Night, but we were able to get it over to the shop. ER Automotive was able to diagnose the issue and fix it by the end of Friday. I was very thankful for the quick service because it really helped us out of a bind.

I dropped off my truck on a Sunday and pre-authorized up to $250 for ER Automotive to replace a broken dipstick tube. YouTube shows tube removal taking 1 minute & 4 seconds with a 5 minute reinstallation. Since I didn't want to wait or buy a one-time-use extraction tool, I went to ER Automotive who had plenty of openings. I called for an update Monday evening, when I hadn't heard from them and learned they needed to order a replacement tube ($55 online; they charge $111). I paid for express shipping, only to learn when I called on Friday after not hearing from them since my previous call on Monday, that they didn't have the extraction tool, so I was left to wait and wonder why I paid for express shipping. Over a week after I dropped off my truck (the following Monday evening), I got a text saying my bill was $460, even though I only pre-authorized $250 and wasn't notified about - and didn't authorize additional charges. I was told it took the mechanic 4 hours to remove the broken tube (can you imagine trying to remove a 3/8 inch diameter tube for 4 solid hours?), but they weren't going to charge me for two of those hours. Again, YouTube shows this to be less than a 10-minute job. I believe in giving credit where it's due and on rare occasion, giving an honest review to let others know about poor service. I won't be back, but in fairness, they applied a $30 online coupon to help bridge the gap between what I authorized and what they unexpectedly charged. If this is the kind of service you're looking for, then ER Automotive is the right place for you!

I went in to get my tire repaired and it was super quick and cheap, only $20! Plus if you leave three reviews you get a free oil change so definitely pop in if you need something done on the car.
