I’ve been a loyal customer here for years, but after my recent experience, I’m beyond disappointed. I brought my car in for an issue, and not only did they misdiagnose it, but they also charged me repeatedly for labor and parts that did nothing to resolve the problem. Despite the ongoing visits and expenses, my car’s issue was never fixed. Now, it’s in worse shape than ever and no longer drivable. I’m left with no choice but to have it towed to another shop. This experience has completely shattered my trust in their service. Save your money and your sanity. Do not bring your car there. They are scam artists!!!!

Had my Chevy trailblazer not running correctly throwing multiple codes tried a couple of things myself before I gave up and took my business to east hill auto although a bit pricey they got the job done within a day and the car was running 2x better than before so shout out to these guys for being super close to my house and playing good music in the shop

I had a terrible experience with East Hill Auto. Initially, they seemed friendly and knowledgeable, but it quickly became clear that they were anything but honest. I brought my car in for what I thought was a simple repair, and they gave me a long list of unnecessary services that were supposed to “fix” the problem. After paying a hefty bill, my car was still not working properly. When I went back to discuss it, they brushed me off and tried to upsell me on even more repairs. I left feeling scammed and frustrated, with my car in worse shape than before and my wallet significantly lighter. I wouldn’t recommend this shop to anyone looking for trustworthy service. Save your money and find a mechanic who actually cares about their customers.

East Hill Auto provided exceptional service on my 2020 Subaru! They were able to remove the stuck drain plug from my vehicle without damaging the oil pan. Other companies either refused to service my vehicle or quoted well over $1,000. But the employees at East Hill Auto were able to complete the work carefully and I was charged a very fair price for their services. I have friends that also use East Hill Auto and they can confirm the great work these mechanics provide! 10/10 highly recommend

Condescending Service & Questionable Quality - my brakes still squeak after bringing my car back multiple times. They changed my brakes and I had to bring it back multiple times to get rid of the squeaking on brand new brakes they had just put on. A year later, the brakes were grinding (less than 10k miles). I brought it back and they replaced it, but not without an earful of how I should not brake as hard and long down hills. My experience could have been better and I would return as a customer if the service was kind. I would've appreciated an acknowledgement of "hi, welcome, we'll be right with you" when there were no other customers.

Avoid This Shop Unless You Enjoy Wasting Money and Time If I could give zero stars, I would. More than two years ago, I brought my car in for a simple front brake pad and rotor replacement, and now—after THREE visits to (supposedly) replace the offending cheap brake pads they originally installed—the issue of the ongoing, excessive black brake dust covering my front wheels still hasn’t been resolved. Each time, I was assured the problem was taken care of—and each time, I left with the exact same mess. At this point, I'm seriously wondering if this shop ever actually replaced the brake pads after the first time, since there’s never been any evidence that they did. Rommel is full of promises but short on results. He either doesn’t know what he’s doing or simply doesn’t care—and I’m honestly not sure which is worse. When he had the audacity to ask me to bring my car in a FOURTH TIME (seriously?), I instead asked him for a refund of the $604 I had initially paid him. He refused, claiming, "That wouldn’t be fair.” I'D LOVE TO KNOW WHAT’S FAIR ABOUT A 74-YEAR-OLD WOMAN HAVING TO CLEAN SOLID BLACK BRAKE DUST OFF HER FRONT WHEELS (WEEKLY!) FOR 2.5 YEARS—ALL THANKS TO THE CHEAP BRAKE PADS ROMMEL USED, WHICH HE (quite laughably) PROMISED ME WERE “BETTER THAN ORIGINAL EQUIPMENT.” My recent plan was to take this unethical "businessman" (I use that term lightly) to Small Claims Court, but I realized that (Rommel being Rommel) the likelihood of him showing up was pretty much nil. And even if I won the judgment—as I surely would—I would most likely never see a dime of that money again. If you’re looking for competent, honest auto service, keep driving. This place is where cars—and customer service—go to die.

East Hill does a great job! They complete the repairs on my car quickly and have fair prices. As consumers, we can only get two out of the following three: price; quality; and service. East Hill gets really close to delivering all three. Great work, fast service, fair prices. I'm OK with that. Try them! Since I wrote the above, I've been back a few times for other work (this week, a new wheel bearing). Same good service, good work and fair prices. That's why I go there, they're consistently good!

Hands Down the Best Mechanic Shop Around! I can’t say enough good things about this place! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with friendly and knowledgeable staff who genuinely care about their customers. I normally take my car to the dealership. I was going to be out of town for a couple of weeks and my daughter suggested I try their auto service and she would pick it up. Rommel is wonderful and very friendly and helpful. He called me back after they went through the car and he saved me thousands (versus the dealer) on what needed to be done. Got the car back quickly and it drives like new. I am foregoing the dealer and taking it to East Hill now. 5/27 - My check engine light came on so took it back to East Hill. Rommel warmly greeted me and asked the problem. Turns out, I was very low on oil but no oil leak. Seems the last time I took it to the dealer for service, they forgot to refill the oil. He called later and told me my suspension links were broken. I knew this was true from the dealer but had not had it done. I had East Hill fix the suspension for half the price the dealer wanted. Had the car back the same day. Will continue to take my car to East Hill. 9/6/25 - Got the standard B4 maintenance code on my Honda. It means take it to the dealer where they change the oil, replace the spark plugs and do a complete check. Instead of taking it to the dealer, I took it to East Hill. They checked my service record and I had the plugs replaced less than a year ago. That means just an oil change and checkup. I am sure the dealer would have replaced the plugs (needed or not) based upon the code. Saved me hundreds of dollars. Thanks East Hill for excellent service and being customer oriented. 1/5/26 - Just to prove I am still taking my car to East Hill. Would not take it anyplace else. Very easy to schedule, the team gets the job done and I save money. Thanks Rommel for all your help.

I had taken my Jeep to the dealership in Auburn to have work done that they had informed me was needed and after jerking me around and not completing the service they were supposed to do AND then giving me a list of more work they discovered needed to be done, the team at East Hill Auto Service was able to do the work for half the cost that the dealership was going to charge and they completed the work in less time than the dealer said they would need. The East Hill Auto Service team is always the best.

honestly, one of the best auto shops I’ve been to. I used to go to Greg’s Japanese auto and they were just really sketchy And they would purposely do damage to my car so I had to come back every 2 to 3 months. A neighbor of mine recommended East Hill auto And said that they did amazing work, we’re super honest and upfront with you and very fast. Which, when I went to check them out for myself every positive thing she said was true. everyone on staff is super helpful and extremely nice, and let you know the truth about what’s wrong with your car and what you may or may not need and Always making Sure your car is leaving in the best condition! I’m so happy I was recommended to go to this place and it was honestly the best switch I’ve ever made in my car Has been running, smooth and Hasn’t had any problems since I’ve been going there. We have known Romell at East Hill Auto for many years. We moved & we were in Kent the other day & we just popped in as we needed a couple of things done & did not have an appointment but he told us what we needed & it would take about 1/2 an hour. They took care of the issues while we waited. Who else does that for you when you pop in from time to time with no appointment? Thank you Romell & guy's in the shop. Outstanding job as always 👏
