Very courteous and professional. They know bmw's. I had my 2002 bmw 530i towed their and they diagnosed it, let me know what i needed before doing any work, then once i approved the repairs they had me up and running in no time. It is nice to deal with a reputable shop that isn't trying to get over on you.

What can I say. These people know their BMWs. It the only place I'll go for service. Their prices are fair and they do a great job. I've always been satisfied with their work. It's even ok just to drop in to chat. I just want to let everyone know that Randy and Tracy still run the BEST BMW repair shop in tidewater.

Ive had over three thousand dollars of work done to my car on the right side of a BMW 750li. When I received my car back 6 months ago I recognized that every time I went over a hard bump the rear side would knock. This shock was supposed to have been replaced, however we find out that the shock from the Manufacturer had a defect I called several times over 5 months never receiving any feedback to see if my part came in, until I actually came up to the job myself. I talked to the representative at the desk and he recommended me to bring the car back so they could put a diagnostic on the shock to see if there was anyway that they could order it somewhere else because the previous place was on back order. On March 3, 2022 the technician responded in a very unprofessional manner not even knowing about the facts of the car, to allude that there was something wrong with the rear door. I have requested to talk to the owners but i have never received a call and the shock has already been purchased which was well over 1600.00 hundred dollars. Im a very patient person and would never want to expose a problem like this but this is absolutely ridiculous.

Randy and his wife are absolutely the best when it comes to an alternative for BMW Dealer service. They take great care of me and my cars whenever I needed to bring them in for service. They beat the dealer's cost by a mile for the same services, and am glad they are around. They aren't the cheapest fix in town, but if you are gonna own a Beemer, you have to pay to take care of your stuff.

I had a twin disk clutch installed at this shop on my 335i. Two weeks after install I advised them car no longer was going into 1st gear and reverse. Took it back. Owner said clutch master cylinder was leaking and needed to be replaced. Clutch went out while on a highway had to have car towed to another BMW shop where we replaced clutch slave cylinder, master cyclinder and bled line. Still was not going into 1st or reverse. Went back to Eastern Autowerks to advise of issue and had parts replaced due to car being stranded and his shop not open. He refused to further look at my car. Advised that would pay for diagnosis but something isn't right with install. Went to BMW dealership had them bleed clutch and diagnosis problem. Where they documented that it is not a bleeding issue something mechanically is wrong with clutch. Had transmission removed and noticed first Bolts on bell housing where loose. 2nd the throw out bearing was destroyed due to inability to shift and clutch disengage from the flywheel. Five of 6 bolt around the pressure plate was not torqued and they lost one bolt from pressure plate and replaced with a bolt that was slightly too long which caused splines on pressure plate to be raised on one side and flat on another. I paid for original install. Multiple clutch bleeds and diagnosis from BMW dealership. Had to purchase another $1600 clutch due to clutch issue. You are warned. I'm am close to 5k in bills for this shop messing up and not honoring their own work. You have been warned. ​

This was my first time going to Eastern Autowerks. I was glad to see an independent BMW service shop in Norfolk. It was a plus that they are less than 5 min away from my home. I read the reviews, and spoke to my neighbor who owns a Bimmer. All the reviews were good. I needed my sway bar links replaced. They did the job without any extra problems, and it wasn't expensive. My car is driving smoother now. I look forward to doing business with them in the future.

Do not waste your time. I made the mistake of making an appointment but when I went to pick up the car, he had forgotten about my appointment entirely. The owner will take advantage of any perceived lack of knowledge regarding car maintenance. I went to get the exact services at another shop for $600 less.

Went in to ask for a price on an electrical diagnostic due to the radio not turning on when I start the car and explaining that I replaced the alternator the man became very annoyed telling me that people shouldn’t try to work on these cars themselves to save money saying my alternator I purchased was Chinese crap and he proceeded to tell me quote I don’t give free education, money money money. He also stated bmws are for people who want to go places with a smile and told me maybe a Honda or a Nissan would be better to just get from point to point.he also went off on tangents about and iPhone and android phones and how they look the same but the quality is different, Also said it would be a minimum 3 hour charge for diagnostics and would be $500 just to look and a 2-3 week waiting period. He was rude from the moment I enter the shop and disturbed his lunch. He truly made me feel like i could not afford a BMW and I should not have one, but if he only knew. If he was the owner I am deeply disappointed in the manner I was treated. I would not recommend this place to anyone. By the way BMW dealership diagnostics are $249.99 so it makes me feel he jacked the price cause he did not want to deal with me. Thanks a lot for the horrible customer service my friend and you lost a potential client, not that it may make a difference.

Randy and Adam at Eastern Autowerks are hands-down the best BMW specialists I have had the pleasure of servicing my BMW with. I brought my car in for a routine oil change with a concern of a coolant leak and Randy did not hesitate to check out the cause of the issue and was immediately upfront of what it would cost to replace my radiator. He was extremely knowledgeable on the topic and was very flexible to my schedule. In a previous service, Randy took the time to notice other minor faults with the vehicle and gave me recommendations on other specialty shops in the area for body work, etc. Adam answered the phone on occasion and was also equally honest and upfront. This business absolutely has you and your car’s interest in mind! Can’t recommend enough.
