Ed’s Honda has been taking care of my vehicles for over three decades. My husband would often get annoyed at me because I would only consider driving a Honda as I would not leave this wonderful Shop. Happily, since Curtis has taken over after his dad, Ed, retired, he has branched out to include more than just Hondas. Now he is working on both my Honda and my Kia! I wouldn’t go anywhere else! ❤️

Travelling cross country in RV towing a Honda Fit. The Fit was making unusual noise from the drivers side. Ed's Specialties was booked solid, but agreed to take a look. They diagnosed the issue as the front tire separating. Great experience with them. Many thanks to the team.

This local family team is wonderful and trustworthy. I used to take my car to Crown Honda who would give me lists of expensive/devastating repairs. Someone reccomended Eds for a second opionion at one point and my $1,600 estimate at crown became $600. Also, multiple repairs needed by crown motors in fact did not need fixed and Ed explained what and why. Appreciate knowing I won't get ripped off and he's kept my car running perfectly!

Just wanted to thank everyone at Ed's for helping me out on the fly. On Friday my 2008 MDX lost it's serpentine belt at some point on the highway and I'm visiting the area from out of town for an interview. They were happy to work on my car asap next week, and I agreed to have it towed over. After the tow and after inspection the shop was able to order a new belt and promptly install it before the end ofnthe day so I could get back on the road! If that's not great customer service idk what is. Thanks to everyone at Ed's and I will be back for all my future maintenance once I move to the area. Zach

I thought there was a problem with my car but, it turned out it wasn't a big deal. They spent time checking my vehicle and researching but would not take payment for their time. They were friendly and able to reschedule when something came up and wasn't able to come my first appointment. I really appreciated my experience and will definitely be using them in the future.

By far the best experience. Extremely trustworthy, quick and efficient. They treat all vehicles as their own and complete all tasks with a sense of pride and ownership. We’ve now taken 2 separate vehicles (1 Honda and 1 Toyota) both have left the shop in pristine condition without ever showing signs of whatever they were taken in for. I would recommend Ed’s to anyone!

Ed's is the only place I'll take my car (Hyundai Santa Fe) now after being screwed over by another place. The owners here really helped me out when I needed it with my old car. When I got a new car, they were able to check it over and tell me what was needed and fix it all up for a good price. Recently got an oil change a few days ago and it was super fast. Amanda in the office is always very nice and helpful too. Definitely recommend to everyone in Redding

I have been going exclusively to Ed's Specialties for 20 years! Ed's have been able to keep me on the road and have always been honest with me. The work they have done on my vehicles has been exemplary. I've never had to take my vehicle back in for something they didn't repair properly and I have never been taken advantage of. For work they don't regularly do, they provide excellent referrals. Ed, Cathy, Curtis and Amanda are very knowledgeable about all aspects of vehicle repair. Recently Curtis had even caught something that could have taken a turn for the worse if it weren't for his expertise.

Mazda Miata and Toyota Tacoma. Ed's is the place I trust and recommend to my friends. I personally have seen them help people out who needed it, watched them not take advantage of someone when they easily could have, and they have always treated me with respect. One time they even spent time consulting with me and I was able to solve the problem myself AND they didn't charge me for it. It is hard to find a mechanic you can trust. This is the place. Great waiting room also, good magazine selection and in walking distance of the donut shop by Safeway.

That said, I feel that at Ed's Specialties Auto repair, he has been fair with pricing and clear on repairs are the fix or start to be able to diagnose the vehicle further. I was recommended his shop through word of mouth. The small business has treated me well, and I plan to continue using them when I'm not able to do my own work.

I have done business with this family and their business for the better part of 2 decades and change. They care about their customers and are very involved in the community. Their estimates are honest, repairs are thorough and there is always a warm smile at the door. Some mechanics recommend things good for their wallet, these folks recommend only what you need to help your Honda run longer. They have helped keep my 94 civic clear 400k miles and just keep running, as well as nearly 250k miles on my 05 Accord.
