Edwards Automotive was fantastic! They fixed my horn, rotors, and break pads in less than 2 hours for a very fair price. I had previously taken my car to three shops to try to get my horn fixed, but all three told me it would be hours worth of work and they weren't sure they could do it. Edwards fixed it in less than 5 minutes! The customer service was exceptional. I recommend Edwards to anyone who wants good work, competent mechanics, and a fair price.

The employees at Edwards automotive were awesome! They took well care of me and the issue I came to them with. The manager, David Ellis, was GREAT. I went to buy oil and he told me to come back and he'd put the oil in my car for me. Just buy it and come back. I would recommend their service to anyone. You won't regret going.

I'm going to give an honest review as it's been a couple of weeks since I was in there and I've cooled off. I took a Ford focus in with a severe problem and they fixed it and they gave me a warranty with it and I was very pleased. I took my F250 work truck in there to get some work done on the front end and I was having trouble with my voicemail, (very friendly folks there the guy David runs the shop very nice, very professional )couldn't get ahold of me and went ahead with the repair I finally got in touch with him the next day and he told me it was going to be about 1500 and I was expecting about eight or nine hundred and so I told him I didn't know if I was going to be able to get the work done and he stated that he was half finished so I was kind of in a bind there so I proceeded to let him do the work he promised to keep my truck locked up in the shop as it was totally loaded with all my tools that I make a living with, he sent it down the street to get a front-end alignment and they left it sitting out on Route 78 overnight, tool boxes all unlocked, I got the truck back and they were not able to align the front end as it was too long and also charged me $150 for one lower ball joint. So in closing I was given a quote by one of their competitors for $2,000 and they would supply all name brand parts and labor I got Edwards Automotive to do it and I brought my own Parts in from Amazon and I was charged 1375 give or take and no warranty on the parts so due diligence, be wise these guys are not Crooks, we just had some misunderstandings and it's unfortunate, but when I saw my truck outside early the next morning as I rode by I lost faith , thankfully nothing was stolen but I really didn't save any money in the end and now I have no warranty on parts and $150 for a lower ball joint really? ($600 for two sets I guess?????)

Had some brakes issues on my car and the guys at the shop were able to not only fit me in at 9am but have me out by 11am. They did great work for a decent price. New to area and the south in general. My experience at Edwards Automotive has by far been the most amazing yet. My car broke down around the corner and luckily Edwards was nearby. Management was friendly and helpful, service was fast. Had a new alternator installed by next afternoon and my car is still running great. Thanks guys! I would recommend this place to anyone.

Now that my jeep is officially done at the mechanic, and the transmission and 4wd are actually up to par once again, id like to take a minute to give Edwards automotive an official review. They did great work in a short amount of time, but more then that they were completely friendly and overly accommodating of my overly annoying fear and mustrust of mechanic shops. They respected my love for my jeep and took there time to call and give me updates. When i saw there was a problem still after i got it home they took it back in immediately with no issue or charge and got everything straightened out. I highly recommend them for not only their knowledge and skill, but their high level of customer service and dedication to earning your future business.

They were super professional and got my car back to me in 1 day for breaks and rotors. Also super great price considering it would’ve been a couple hundred more at a bigger chain. UPDATE: 2 years later, and I already have to replace my rotors and brakes (it’s overdue, too… my cars been making noises for months now) and the company who did my inspection told me my rotors hadn’t been replaced in forever.. and they were wearing my brakes down in an unusual way—a grooved pattern. Now I have to drop 1K more less than a week before Christmas, and I’m wondering if they ever even replaced the rotors on my car in the first place.

So glad Darryl's was recommended to me. They gave great service. The work was completed quickly, correctly and at a good price. My car is getting a bit old, but was in great condition except for the transmission. I was being told that it wasn't worth the expense to fix it, but I like the car so took it in to Darryl's. Darryl was able to rebuild it for a lot less than I had been quoted elsewhere. He was very pleasant. The shop was clean. I have my car back - running like a dream. I'm very happy.

I bought a 1982 F100 from Alabama when received it was running in very rough shape. Took the truck to Edwards Automotive they were very helpfull and patient. They were able to repair all my issues. They were painstaking in finding a manifold leak they even repaired that. Wish I could give these guys a 10 star rating. Edward's Automotive was great! Dropped my truck off mid-day on Monday Christmas week and they had it back to me the following day at noon. Had 2 wheel bearings, 2 sway bar links, and front pads replaced; all at a reasonable price. I took my 2009 Town and Country to Edwards because it was acting up. Had I known it was the transmission, and it would be 3 days to repair, I would have planned better. I was somewhat stranded. I was going to wait there 2 hours with 2 small kids until my husband got off work. They were so helpful and offered to drive me home. Darryl and the shop manager were so nice and friendly. They were really concerned about me and offered amazing customer service. I will gladly take our cars back and recommend them to friends.

I don’t normally write reviews but I do look at them. My experience with Edwards Automotive is deserving of a review and 5 stars!! There’s a good reason why others feel the same way. I needed to find a transmission shop in the area and saw their high ratings online so I decided to call. I was not disappointed. Paul, the manager, was able to conduct a diagnostics read on my car as soon as I walked in. Within the hour, he and the other wonderful mechanic had found the problem and implemented a fix. They were genuinely friendly and knowledgeable. Paul put my nerves at ease. (As we all know, transmission repairs are often pricey. Cue the anxiety.) Thank goodness they know what they’re talking about and don’t try to push a needless repair on you! Being a single parent, I appreciate their honesty and commitment to keeping their customers best interest (and wallet) in mind. I found my new auto repair shop!!

I can’t say enough good things about this shop. We are out of towners and 30 minutes out from Charleston my check engine light started flashing. My husband checked for a mechanic nearby and Edwards had the best reviews. I’m super skeptical of shops as I have been burned by places before. May I just say, as soon as we showed up we were greeted and we felt comfortable immediately. They are good, genuine guys! Unfortunately, the van seemed to be in bad shape and best case scenario it was a $1200 fix, worst case, the engine was shot. Knowing we were on vacation, the owner asked his mechanic to come in an hour early to start working on it. This is where I’m most impressed… instead of lying to get the most money out of us (because we are clueless with this stuff)… they were able to fix the van and for almost half the cost they initially quoted us for. THANK YOU for an honest shop, that cares more for their customers and their integrity than making more money! If we were locals- they would have customers for life!!
