I had my Hyundai Santa Fe sport towed to the Hyundai dealership.They had it for over a week and could not figure out what was wrong with my car. They replaced parts that were not even the issue and charged me over $800. Elite Kar Care was the third place that I towed my car to, Hunter assured me that they would figure out what was wrong with it and to my amazement they did and had it fixed within a few hours I highly recommend Elite Kar Care and their professional staff. First impression, Hunter is super friendly and and the shop is big! Plenty of lifts so no waiting around all day for your car to get lifted and looked at. I came in for a clunk noise Monday morning 3/10/25 only to find out my truck had a lot of work to do. I Had bad struts, bad motor mounts which both I figured and my oil was leaking same with the coolant they are replacing everything with new and are currently almost done. It’s only been 3 hrs, these guys work hard! They wanted to fix and replace my driveshaft but I went to another spot for pricing and they just replaced the u joints. Truck feels great! All vibrations gone and no more bang when I put it in gears! I do still have the clunk when I hit bumps apparently my bed is loose. I would have preferred that to have been fixed other than the struts but they are mechanics and know what’s best to keep you on the road. So they went with the struts which I’m totally fine with. Only downfall which I don’t think is the shops fault is I went with the payment plan and boy oh boy I don’t recommend that. I have to read the fine print next time so a little on my behalf. I ended up paying that finance place back asap in full! Forget the jacked up prices they try n offer. Other than that Fast work and friendly people.

I am so glad I found this place. I will never take my car anywhere else. So nice to have one less worry. I have used them today for the third time. I thought there was a problem with my headlights. There wasn't. They showed me what I was doing wrong, being stressed out due to illness in the family, and sent me on my way. No charge. They are very honest and only fix what needs to be fixed. Each time I have used them has been a pleasant experience and less expensive than anticipated. They also provide a free ride home and back if you live nearby so you don't have to wait in the lobby. I can now say "I'll take it to my mechanic" if I have a problem. I highly recommend Elite Kar Care and their professional staff. They are "Elite"

Among other problems that obliterated my trust in them over a recent incident (I might add later), I will just say now that Mikes there from the telegraph location and has ruined the place. The short guy with the weird hat. He cannot be trusted, I already ran into this when he worked at the telegraph location and unfortunately the Ecorse location has gone all the way down hill now. These are not the guys we've all come to trust over years; just some scammers in the exact same building. As an example I can give now, he quoted a 2014 Cadillac XTS front struts for 1500 installed. My next favorite shop which is now my favorite shop said they would do the entire job for 900. I'm not sure if overpriced is the correct word. One more example I will give is the well-known trick where Mike changed the price when the key hit his hand by a hundred, but he must not have a very good memory because I had called again, got the original price, stopped in the day before to ask what type of parts they use; same price came back the next day and the key hit his hand and he raised the price 100. I should have walked out but I reminded him what I heard several times without a doubt in my voice and got my original price back. Sure didn't go home feeling safe and sound about my car though. That's such a well-known sleezeball trick I can't believe I didn't take my key back. I was too shocked, too busy in anger fixing price back, and up until that second had it in my mind that this Was an excellent shop. He knew what he was doing. It snowballed downhill from there, later I'll update. Old elite-5 stars New elite, watch your wallet and don't expect honesty, or the mechanic work done right the 1st time. Also make sure the guy doesn't pre-sign your paperwork for you by the way, that's illegal. When I called back to ask why he did this he just started yelling at me saying "you don't know who I am". I quickly told him I don't care. Obviously what he was doing was trying to get loud so no one in the shop would realize the reason I called was to ask why he signed my paperwork. There is NO WAY they have employed this guy for over a decade without all being absolutely complicit. It's no wonder they're BBB rating is an "F"

I would give 0 stars if I could ive been coming to this establishment for the past 3 years and mind you this is the only shop I take my vehicle to. This past week my vehicle was towed in because of a bad alternator, I pick it up and noticed a wire sticking out my alternator and the fan wouldn't shut off which wasn't like this before.. I drop my vehicle back off and explain what happened and they take a look. I wait for a call back and nothing, when I call the New guy mike is incredibly rude and tells me "well you didn't leave me a review" as an excuse to why my vehicle isn't running properly. I asked multiple times to speak to the owner butch and they refused to let me speak to him. Upon picking up my vehicle they tell me the issue was my fan was unplugged and blame me or my husband for the issues. Idk the most about cars but im pretty sure a fan thats unpluged isn't constantly running.

I had sent my sister to this place as she wanted to go to the dealership what a mistake on our part they charged her 600 dollars for a battery to be put in when I called and asked why they charged her so much they told me 5 different story's one the battery was 300 then another price then another then she got top battery which ok why was it 600 for a battery to be put in they couldn't keep the same story as I was put on hold to speak with another person then towards end of conversation the guy says oh we owe her 95 dollars back for the inspection fee and told me they told her that she could come back in for services and it will go towards that they never ever told her that while she was there another lie I told him she will never come back there again for them to rip her off I told him to put the money 95 he says they owe her back on her card he thrn hung up on me please dont waste your time with these guys this is so sad they seen a young woman driving a nice car and decided to get over on her please be aware and go to someone you trust 600 for a battery and for them to install it 600!!!!!!! Shame on you guys

Please save your self and find some where else Iv been bringing my vehicles here for years No problems good costumer service and communication. I had a issue last week dropped my vehicle off first thing in the morning by noon I didn’t hear anything from them so I give them a call I’m use to dealing with Hunter to my surprise it wasn’t him on the phone it was a rude man with no information hadn’t even took a look at my vehicle so I tried being patient I know they get busy I call back around 2:30 still rude and haven’t even looked at it so I told him don’t worry about it I’d have it take else where. I sent a tow truck to pick it up this guy gave the tow truck someone else’s keys and was speaking negative about me. I was never rude I was patient and I just didn’t get a good vibe from the new guy

Would highly recommend Elite Kar Kare! Took my car in for an oil change today. To my surprise, I needed to have some repair work done, which was somewhat unexpected as usual. They took good care of me. I’ve been coming there for a long time and they’ve always kept my car up and running their services are very quick. Mike and his crew are honest and reliable and always go above what they’re supposed to do. They fixed my windshield wiper fluid that was frozen for no charge and rolled it in with my other repair.
