My vehicle's check engine light came on and then I started hearing a loud rattling coming from under the car the following day. Thought for sure I'd be looking at needing a new catalytic converter or worse. After having poor experiences at the dealer and different local shop for past vehicle service, I looked at Yelp and Google reviews to find a good place to go. Heritage Car Care is right around the corner from me and had great reviews so I gave them a call. I dropped off the vehicle at noon on a Friday. They called me with a diagnosis and a very fair quote a few hours later. Turned out the rattle and check engine light were two unrelated issues and simple fixes. I was able to pick up the vehicle the same day and for a fair price. The staff was also very pleasant and helpful. I will absolutely be going back and will recommend them to anyone in the area.

Recently scheduled to have a car dropped off here for a Pre Purchase Inspection. I'm not based in Michigan so I had to coordinate this all over the phone with Heritage and the car dealership. They were very helpful in working with me to get this taken care of, and the technician (Cody I believe?) was extremely helpful and thorough in checking everything on the SUV, he provided pictures and gave me quotes on how much any repair would be and it's severity. Their help allowed me to negotiate with the dealer to lower the price, and gave me the confidence to pursue the vehicle sight unseen. They were also very fair priced for the inspection. Very high praises from my end.

Had another shop tell me that my truck was too old to be able to fix broken bolts in my exhaust manifold and that old Chryslers are impossible to get out. Well Ted with Heritage Car Care begged to differ. Not only did he keep me updated with an active time line and cost. He also respected my time, making sure that I didn't bring my truck in for it to sit in the lot for a week. When I did drop my truck off(on a sunday), it was looked at and I was quoted a price within 2 hours of being open on Monday! He gave me a time line for getting parts in and was almost dead on with the time he said it would be done! (Said 12:30pm but was actually 10:30am!) This has been one of the best repair experiences I've ever had! Thank you guys!

Had a good experience having truck repaired here, explained repair work to me, mechanics ARE licensed/certified in their categories, with certificates in view. My vehicle was test drove, before and after repair was performed. Price for repair was fair, NO added up sell, like a lot of shops try. This is a BUSY shop, I had an appointment, made a week earlier, waited little a 2 hrs for my truck, small clean waiting area, with a restroom. Super friendly I came in to get a throttle body put on my vehicle. I told them I could do it. I just didn’t have the time he told me he could squeeze me in probably by the 20th. I told him this was my work vehicle and I didn’t really wanna ride my show motorcycle to work every day but I understood he called me the next day at 4 o’clock except my truck was ready. That’s amazing Service and he’s riding like a dream again thanks a lot. I appreciate you guys.

Was charged $268 for a basic 2 wheel front end alignment. Ted said it was a "specialty alignment" bc its lifted with big tires yet tech said it was bc he had to change out the heads for bigger ones which is part of an alignment and takes 2 seconds. It has factory size tie rods, drag link, ball joints, knuckles, bearings, etc not to mention front end is all brand new parts from the steering gearbox down to the wheel bearings and was aligned to factory specs. So im curious how this guy justifies charging so much for a "specialty" and after all that the wheel is crooked and I still left with a right front tire that is toed out. Then tells me I'll be charged by the hour next time and that my truck is a piece of shit thats why it handles like shit. There certainly won't be a next time and I assure you its one of the nicest 91 Broncos you'll see around. Stay far away from this "shop". Get someone in there thats familiar with a ttb setup so it can be aligned properly and wont take 6 hrs lol.

The receptionist was really nice and welcoming and went out of her way to see if they could squeeze me in. Ted the mechanic was able to squeeze me in and was super knowledgeable, kind, honest and did great work on my Escape. It was done by the next day. The prices were super fair too. My son highly recommended Heritage Car Care since he goes there when the need arises & always happy with their service. I went there on a Friday with my 2019 Encore & was greeted by Rachel who is a very nice professional lady who did not mind me talking her ears off...lol Just a very good down to earth person. I went there thinking I needed brakes & rotors but Ted ( Owner ) looked at everything & gave me his honest opinion & said brakes & rotors looked good & told me the brakes are good for another 10 or 15 k miles. Also did not charge me which I very much appreciated. I also needed my window switch replaced & Ted ordered the part from the dealership & replaced it for a very reasonable price. I can now lower & raise windows which is very useful especially when being a senior. I will definitely give this very fine establishment a 5 star rating & suggest everyone goes there for their vehicle needs. Thank you again Rachel & Ted! 😀
