If your looking for a GOOD and HONEST auto repair shop you found it. This is a late post. Took my Suburban there after getting the A/C diagnostic at a few other places. I was up against the clock because I was going out of town that evening and told him I needed it done immediately. It was a Friday afternoon and after looking at it he told me it didn't need half of the stuff the other shops told me it needed. He only charged me half of what the other guys' estimate was with also doing a few more maintenance items I had been putting off. This was even after he saw the diagnostic papers from the other shops. He knew I needed it done quickly and he didn't take advantage of the situation. I have reccomended this shop multiple times and everyone has told me they were happy with the work that was done and the price they were charged. I would definitely reccomend this shop to anyone for any of their automotive repair needs.

I drove to this location after setting an appointment a week prior! The owner decided not to take my car because I asked for a paper receipt or something that states what services will be performed on my car! He turned me away! He stated I backed out and that was not the case! If you want documents or receipts don't go here! I'm sure me being 6'6 and African American played into it!

Under new owners, they replaced my axle, seal and bearing kit on the rear. Our Nissan Titan because of a leak i brought my own parts. Purchased at Amazon. The charge to replace the kit. What is 2 hours? $240, it started leaking again. At 100 miles i'm not really happy, no warranty. Update, I removed the axle, tuck it to a professional to install new bearing kit. He removed the bearing, he called me back and said, whoever installed this bearing cut your axle, so I had to buy a new axle, with bearing and seal kit on it $213. Very disappointed at fair way, just off at Cherokee road.

Review for Quintero’s Fairway Auto Repair – Stockton, CA Took my vehicle in for a diagnostic and compression test. They told us the ECM and key needed replacement and assured us the engine was in good condition. We agreed to the repair and paid over $1,000. A week later, they said the real issue was the engine itself—despite previously clearing it. Now the car runs worse than before, and we’re out $1,000+ with no resolution. Either poor diagnostics or negligence. Avoid this shop or get a second opinion before spending money.

Axle and Cesar are by far the most honest mechanics I've come across. And trust me it's hard to come by one nowadays. I brought in my 1988 Honda Accord had taken the car to other shops and they all kept screwing me over charging me an arm and leg to get it running but there would always be another problem. I got tired of that and was recommended by a friend to fairway automotive the best decision I could have ever made. This shop will be my new go to place for years to come. Short version: I was basically stranded but Axle and his dream team are top notch and fixed up my ford truck in time for me to get home. Highly recommended when you need any service. Long version (Story time): I was passing through Stockton on a thursday on my way from Ventura to Tahoe when the water pump on my truck failed. First call was to AAA for a tow, then searched for a shop to make things right. First call to a repair shop was to Fairway Automotive Repair(its called something different now) and immediately knew i was in good hands. When i told the tow truck driver where i was being towed, he told me exactly what i was thinking, this is THE shop i should be at, not the AAA recommended shop. When i called, Axle answered(perfect name for a service writer). He answered all my questions and explained how he and his team could make everything right again. After letting Axle know what i thought the supposed issue was that the water pump failed and that i needed to have the truck ready as soon as possible, Axle jumped into action. He had a quote ready as soon i sat down in the tow truck and a timeline of when it would be ready, probably the very next day on Friday but in the afternoon. I quickly realized I would need a rental truck to make my trip work out, but that was my problem. Repairs take time. I left the shop to get the rental truck and came back for my ski gear. Axle's team was already looking over the truck to make sure the initial diagnosis was right so they knew what they had to do. It was the water pump, and hopefully nothing else. Axle came over to me, confirmed its the water pump and said, "we will have this ready to go by end of day Friday and I'll be here on Sunday at noon to get you on your way". We shook hands on that and i was off to my friends in Tahoe. Here's the best part! Axle was there BEFORE noon, with my truck fully test driven and ready to go. So i got my truck back on a day they are closed and then drove 300 miles after the fix. No issues. Incredible. This is THE dream team to get you back driving your car without worries. Axle, thank you and your team.
