Bought my Jeep in to be checked out for front rubbing noises I was hearing and a check engine light that came on. I was told they think it was the front differential which they don't work on and that tie rods along with a couple sensors needed to be changed and a needed alignment which i went ahead and proceeded to have done. After paying and picking up my car, which they had most of the week, the noises got worse, my alignment was off, and the check engine light came back on within a couple days. Looking at the receipt I noticed I was overcharged for extra work I didn't agree to including an oil change that wasn't even done after checking to see I still had old oil and the filter i personally put on myself. After calling I had to wait and go back days later when a manager was there to issue a refund. Took 20 minutes waiting in front of a guy who kept typing on a computer while I was forced to watch an episode of Friends while standing just to get $80 back after spending thousands there only to still have the same issues. I decided to take it down the road to Stan's where they quickly diagnosed it was my power steering pump and engine mounts that needed changing along with yet another alignment. Even pointed out things Firestone missed and damage done to the new tie rods installed along with oil leaks they should have seen and fixed. Nothing was wrong with my differential which Firestone misdiagnosed completely. I will not be going back to Firestone ever again even though I was talked into wasting more money getting the lifetime alignment that I was told I needed. My wife also had to take her car twice to get her alignment done right which they blamed on the machine but it seems to be more an operator error. Firestone obviously doesn't know what they are doing. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else local and professional down the road. Don't waste your time and money like I did. Wish I could have gotten a complete refund instead.

My AC went out in the middle of summer in Louisiana. Not only did they diagnose the problem correctly (the compressor died) but they were able to replace it the same day, and were even willing to work late to help me. Fast, friendly, honest people. Can't recommend them enough!

I received superb service from Rouley and Jarvis on Monday, June 30, 2025. I feel better rolling in my Chevrolet Equinox LT with new tires. Sam completed the scheduling of my appointment over the phone last Thursday. He was courteous and knowledgeable. God bless everyone ☮️ 💝 🌄

I can’t say enough good things about the team at Firestone Complete Auto Care on Johnston Street in Lafayette, LA! I came in on a weekend as a walk-in with a tire issue, and they treated me like I had an appointment. Not only were they incredibly friendly and professional, but they also got me back on the road way faster than I expected. It’s hard to find places that are both efficient and genuinely kind, especially on a busy weekend. The staff here really went above and beyond to help me out. The waiting area was clean and comfortable. If you ever find yourself in a pinch, this is the place to go. Big shoutout to the crew working that day!

Great customer service! The guys at the shop were very kind, informative, and helpful when I had some issues with my car vibrating like crazy. Referred me out to a local shop when they found out it was something they couldn’t work on (no fault of theirs, gotta love Teslas). They got me in quick both days I came by and got me out quick as well. My experience here was by far the best mechanic experience I’ve ever had! 🤩

Rude and incompetent. I got 4 new tires at the end of April with these guys. Customer service was bad, but I gave them a pass. Big mistake. I brought my car in today because it has started shaking when I'm on the highway. The guy says it's $65 to rebalance the tires. I told him that didn't sound right, usually when you buy 4 new tires from a place they will do a rebalance at no charge, especially since it has only been 4 months. The guy tells me they don't do that. I tell him they must not have done it right then if its already needing a realignment. He has the nerve to tell me "our guys are smart enough to do it properly." OH boy was he wrong!! I leave and go to Delta World tires, as they DO offer a free realignment if you purchase the tires with them. They go to take off the tire...and guess what? Some "genius" at Firestone cross threaded my lug nut. Now it has to be replaced because of the incompetence of Firestone. Save yourself the headache, and go to Delta. This place is a racket, just looking to steal your money and put your life in danger. And it'll cost more to fix their mistakes with a reputable business.

I don’t like leaving bad reviews, but if I read enough of the 1 star reviews from this place, it would have saved me money and time. My son’s first car was road-ready, and just needed an alignment. Nothing wrong with it besides that. We brought it there because they had an appointment that worked for us. An hour and a half after our appointment time, they called us to say that they couldn’t do the alignment because the outer tire rod was cross threaded. If we wanted them to do it, it would be $400. We picked up the car and brought it home, my husband inspected and found that was not the case. We brought it elsewhere and had it done with no issues. I guess I’ll make sure to stick to places we trust going forward. Hope this review helps someone in the future.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Rouley, the parts manager at Firestone Complete Auto Care on Johnston, was incredibly helpful when I needed new tires. He took the time to explain my options, answered all my questions, and made sure I got the best tires for my vehicle and budget. He was professional, knowledgeable, and made the whole process easy and stress-free. You can tell he truly cares about his customers. If you need tires or any other service, ask for Rouley—he’s the best!

I needed 4 new tires for my 2020 Chevy P/U. I went to Firestone on Johnston St in Lafayette. I was politely greeted by Robert, one of the MGRs. He went out of his way to be sure that got exactly what I needed. The work was done in a timely manner, and I will definitely return and recommend this location to my friends.

I had an excellent experience at Firestone—huge credit to the team working there. Despite being clearly short-staffed, they remained professional, courteous, and efficient. The service was top-notch, and they took the time to explain everything clearly and honestly. You could tell they were doing their best under pressure. That said, this location (and probably others) would really benefit from more staff. The current team is doing an amazing job, but they shouldn’t have to carry that kind of load alone. Firestone, if you’re listening: please invest in hiring and supporting these hardworking individuals. They’re the reason customers keep coming back.

I had an 11am appointment, they called me at 2pm to say they finally started. When I picked up my vehicle, I noticed the glue- on wheel weights were put on so crooked, they were coming out between the wheel spokes and onto the exterior finished surface of the wheel. There were scratches on my wheels from using a screwdriver instead of a non-marring tool to remove the old glue on weights. And some of the marks are on the finished part of the wheels. Very sloppy work. After driving for a few days, I tried to re-check my lug nut torque, and found my 22mm sockets would not fit on many of the lug nuts anymore. I even checked to see if the emergency tire tool would fit, no luck. So now if I get a flat while traveling, no way to remove the lug nuts. The vehicle is only 2 1/2 years old. I've rotated the tires myself with the same hand tools, so I know they weren’t like this until they worked on it. It appears they used the wrong size socket and overzealous, under trained tire guy with an impact damaging most of them. Stay far away if you want someone to care for your vehicle.

We went for an oil change, they told us we needed to replace the back right tire urgently (which was true), we paid them to replace it and by the end of the day it was completely flat. We are now having to pay to have someone come and change the tire out overnight as we can't afford to wait until Firestone opens again tomorrow. The service was good on-site, although it did take 2 hours for an oil change and tire replacement, and the employees were very kind and understanding. It's extremely frustrating to have to shell out double on a tire that they offered to fix for us, though!

Had an appointment for 12 noon on a Sunday. Upon arrival, the rude and curt employee advised me that I would be waiting at least 2 hours as there were 2 other customers before me and more on the way. He suggested that I make an appointment during the week days. Well, I do work. He placed blame on the person that booked my appointment on Saturday. They were also understaffed. I left and will not give these people a chance in the future.

Had to bring my vehicle back three times after a simple brake job. Little did I know they only changed my front brakes not my back brakes. Causing amount of noise that’s insane while I’m driving that I didn’t have prior to bringing in. I was told that there was a defect in the brakes that were put in and that was causing the noise now the third time I bring it back they tell me because the back brakes haven’t been changed. Horrible horrible experience after I’ve been going there for several years with several vehicles. Unless something is done, I get money back or some sort of service discount. I will not be returning and I will make sure everybody knows how poorly my experience was.

I brought my 2006 Toyota Four runner in for two new tires and a front end alignment. I asked the manager to please make sure they checked the steering wheel alignment because they performed a front end alignment on my wife’s four runner last month and she had to bring it back for them to fix the steering wheel alignment on her vehicle. ( Bought four tires for her vehicle too at the same time they did her alignment) When my vehicle was finished today I started driving down the road and realized my steering wheel was crooked. I immediately called the store and they said to bring it back so they could fix it. When they were done I walked around and checked all four wheels and found they had broke the center wheel caps and tried to use black electrical tape to re secure it. I went to speak to the manager and he immediately denied it without letting me finish explaining what I found. (Three out of four center caps had broken pieces from them trying to pry them off.) I will never do business with this store again for any reason nor will I recommend this business to anyone. They didn’t even try to offer a solution. Grossly incompetent manager and technician.

Was told wait time one hour. I was there almost 3… went for flat tire and tire rotation. Guy came back and said no nail found. Realized he examined the wrong tire. Had to take my car again and then found a nail. Left. I called to ask question about my bill and was told if I don’t like it to not come back and hung up. Not ever going back

They were absolutely AMAZING and fast! I had Mardi Gras beads stuck under my car and my breaks and wheel were screeching pretty badly. They found them and let me go within 20 minutes. So, so glad I came here versus somewhere else! And they were laughing and joking around which made the trip not so bad lol!

I'm going to need a phone call from Firestone. I just learned that I was also charged an additional fee of $139 after I already paid for installation on tirerack.com.. I still stand by the comments that Robert and the team are always very helpful and easy to work with. Right on time and great communication. I just wasn't told ahead of time about the additional charge that may have come

Robert at the front desk and Tez the technician had me in and out in no time due to a huge nail in my tire which was under warranty. I truly appreciate their customer service and care. I'll be returning should I need their services again.
