HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Never been to this place before but thought I would give a local shop my business so I called this morning to book a state emissions inspection at this place and was told the wait was 40 minutes, but that it’s first come first serve. Fair enough, I show up ~30 minutes later to a mostly empty parking lot and was told the wait was now four hours! I call ~5 hours later and was told there are only two inspections today and their guy will get to them shortly. No word until SEVEN HOURS LATER, got a call to say my vehicle was ready! No apology or anything for wasting my entire Saturday waiting for the vehicle. In fact the cashier made it sound like having to do my inspection was an inconvenience for this outfit. Is this place simply incompetent, are they dishonest, untrustworthy, disrespectful of their customer’s time, intentionally leave vehicles to last for having the audacity to inconvenience the cashier by calling and asking if the vehicle is ready after they were told it would be ready for pickup? I don’t know what the deal is with this outfit, but I will certainly not be giving Firestone business with any of my vehicles in the future.

Don’t go here. The service is garbage. I went in for a routine oil change and they said it would take less than an hour. I had to pick my kid up by a certain time and explained that if it would take longer than an hour I would come back another day. Mason Pittman reassured me that he used to work at a dealership and that he would get it done in hour if he had to do it himself. I came back an hour later and the car was still up in the air. I asked one of the guys in the lobby how much longer and he said as long as it takes for them to replace the oil plug. And then that guy left. So I went outside to the engine bay opening where my car was. And I saw Mason Pittman hitting the bottom of my car with a screwdriver and a hammer. Once I got his attention he said, “oh hey I’m glad your here come take a look at this.” He then let me under the car in the car bay which I am sure is not an okay thing to let a customer do. He asked me what year the car was which I thought was an odd question and then told me that the oil plug snapped off when they put it back and it must have been an after market part. The bottom of my car had scratches all over it. He said they didn’t have the proper tool to extract the bolt and that’s why he was using a screwdriver and hammer. He said it would be another 15 minutes or more. Which meant that my daughter would be stranded and I would be late to pick her up. I was able to make arrangements for someone to pick her up and bring her to me fortunately. They got done with the car about 1.5 hours after dropping it off. Mason Pittman rang me up and gave me the total. I asked for a discount and Mason got offended. I explained that they took way longer than quoted and caused visible damage to my car with a screwdriver and hammer. And that I wasn’t going to pay full price. He gave me a long explanation about mistakes that happen and that they don’t have the proper tools because they aren’t a big shop. I said understood but I wasn’t going to pay full price. He said he had given me a $30 coupon and that’s all he could do. I asked again for help and he threw his hands up and gave the keys to another employee and asked him to check me out instead. The other employee gave me a discount and apologized. I get accidents happen and things can take longer than expected. But I absolutely did not appreciate the horrible customer service, the lack of communication, and not asking for permission before treating my car like a chisel.

The crew did a thorough inspection of my vehicle and confirmed some of my concerns. They also found a few major issues. Communication was clear and often. It did take a bit longer than I liked to get my vehicle back, but I am glad the techs didn't cut corners to do the job properly.

I keep coming back to Firestone due to the honesty, courtesy and Archie knows my name when I walk in. Prices are reasonable, and better than the dealer. I know I have consistency with the employees as opposed to dealerships. Highly recommend you taking your vehicle to this Firestone (FM 620) service

My wife said the woman that helped her was impolite and a little rude. There was also greasey hand prints on the steering wheel and door handles. Not a stellar visit, for the premium prices they charge i expected much better.

Very disappointed in the customer service with Firestone Car Care on RR 620 in Round Rock. I purchased a set of new tires in March 2025. Six months and 6,189 miles later the left rear tire was separating and causing vibrations and a safety issue. We had purchased 55,00 mile tires with all the additional warranties offered. After the warranty replacement of the tire, I paid $111 to replace a $200 tire. The customer service representative was not happy that I was questioning this and was not hearing the questions I asked. I have taken five vehicles to that Firestone since it opened and purchased tires and had thousands of dollars of service done there. I will opt to drive further for better customer service from this day forward.

My family has come here several times and each time the staff is friendly and helpful. After reading some of the reviews I was shocked at what some other people’s reviews. So I actually asked and found out that those people are generally removed from the shop because they want to keep a great environment. If there is only one down side is that sometimes there are long waits, and that’s because they get busy because a lot of customers trust them with their vehicles.

The super secret tip to get your car to last to 300K miles...this Firestone location. Every dollar spent here is invested to add an extra 1500 miles to your car. Highly recommend the crew here

I had a leaky tire that needed patched and plugged. They waited til it was all the way flat and drove it into the shop ruining the $100 TPMs sensor. So a $10 patch job turned into $147. Avoid these idiots I’m still sitting here 1.5hrs later while they all sit around the shop. Sensors worked just fine when I arrived but of course no accountability in today’s corporate world they don’t care they just want your money.

They broke my car!! they put the wrong oil, then too much oil twice. They claimed they had replace parts they charged me for, but I discovered my original parts were still on my car. I had to pay another mechanic to fix what they did, they tried to gaslight me, but after their service manager checked the oil with me, he was trying to prove they didn't put too much oil in, unfortunately they had put too much oil in again, all he could say was "I'm embarrassed" really!!! All I can say is always check your oil after they claim to change it. I have video of the whole thing.

Firestone did just my emissions inspection but also checked my fluid levels (etc) and made low pressure recommendations, which included pictures and explanations. So helpful!! And I was in and out really quickly. I’ll definitely be back.

Matt, Achrie, and Dillon were all great!!! They took care of us and went over what the SUV needed and explained what it needed before they did anything. They found a couple small things we didn't even know were wrong. They were wonderful! Would go back again!

Made an appointment for 3 pm for the convenience. Arrived at 2:30. My vehicle isn’t pulled till closer to 4 pm. Unsatisfied with the unprofessionalism. I make an appointment so I can keep a schedule. But the techs are all working on different vehicles at the same time. Seems disorganized. Recommend to take your business elsewhere

EDIT 2/23/26: I got a chance to put the car up on jack stands, and to my horror and relief I now know why the car was unstable.. A control arm to frame bolt was backed out halfway. Not sure why it wasn't seen during alignment. I don't want to be mean but I specifically said the car felt unstable and would shift around in the rear. I'm not sure if the front desk guy conveyed this to the technician. However I also noticed while under there that the exhaust downpipe was missing 2 out of 3 bolts and one of the ball joints had a barely finger tight bolt. You can sure bet I checked all the other bolts under there. I know the exhaust is a little out of scope but come on, it was right there and I paid for the "vehicle inspection plus". Now my alignment is off again and Firestone won't do another appointment because I used up my "lifetime but only once every 6 months" alignment. I added a couple more photos. In conclusion, find a smaller shop that's not trying to push a hundred cars through a workday, who can take the time to do something right. Original review: Went in for an alignment and paid for a "plus" vehicle inspection.. 4 hours later I was told it's just fine. The car was not fine. The wheels were installed backwards, which is very dangerous on a factory staggered mid engine vehicle. I was wondering why the car felt extremely unstable while driving - I know I installed them correctly before going to Firestone. Additionally, some plastic parts under the hood were newly broken when I know they were not before, and my wheels which had just been powder coated only 2 days prior were scuffed and marked up heavily. I really hate coming in for any work because every single time something negative comes from it. This time turned out to be particularly dangerous. I should find out how to do my own alignments.
