First, let me start by saying ALWAYS get a second opinion on your car repairs, specifically if you go to Christian Brothers in Pflugerville! They are scammers in my opinion and please read my review I left about them as well. I am an Iraqi War Veteran and I guess I give people the benefit of the doubt way to easy because I used to feel that people will lookout for me as I do them but that is a lie because I have been proven wrong over and over but NEVER again. Anyway, I definitely wanted to leave this review about Lamb’s in Round Rock-4024 and Salesperson:G. Shook. This establishment, Lamb’s-Round Rock, really surprised me and built some much needed reassurance in the way I felt towards the automotive repair shops. I went in for an oil change and to get my car’s brakes checked or reevaluated rather after CB said I needed all this work to be done on my brakes after they just charged me almost $4000 to replace my clutch. So, on Monday the 29th of September, after they did my oil change, I honestly was expecting them to come back with all these estimates and what needs to be repaired, etc. Guess what??? They told me my brakes and everything dealing with my braking system is perfectly fine, they said maybe a rock or dirt was in there making a high squeaking sound when braking but overall “Your brakes are perfectly fine”… I said Really?!?! with such emotion in disbelief. Anyway, I will end here by saying that I want to reiterate to you all reading this… ALWAYS get a second opinion on your car’s repairs because there are scammers and people who honestly do not care about your best interest or safety, just your $$$!! Also, just because they might be a “well known” establishment does not mean that they cannot be scammers, trust me! So, thank you Lamb’s Round Rock-4024 and Salesperson: G. Shook, I appreciate it. You all have a Blessed day. GOD Bless!!

Andrew and Lee worked me in when I had a battery issue nearby. Although I typically use a Lamb’s location across town, they treated me like an old friend, and took care of the battery issue quickly, as well as accommodating an oil change I requested as long as I was there. In and out in less than an hour for an unscheduled emergency visit. Thanks, guys!

Excellent customer service. Steve and the team serviced my Transmission and replaced the AC Compressor on my 2017 Colorado. Steve worked with my extended warranty company to get them all the information they needed to agree to cover the repair. I am very happy with this shop and will continue to have my vehicle serviced here. Thank You Guys for a GREAT EXPERIANCE

I’ve never had a place try and scam me so bad like this one. My car wasn’t starting properly and I thought I needed new brakes and rotors. The starter had already been changed about 5 months ago and my battery was already checked and showing good. Long story short, I told the front desk guy (I believe his name was Steven), my concerns and that I believe my brakes and rotors may need to be changed because it’s been awhile. My car was making noises when I would turn which made me believe this. He came back and specifically said I was right about my brakes and rotors and quoted me over $2000 to change my brakes, rotors and brake pads. He then told me my car would need to be sent off to get a diagnosis to see why it’s cutting on and off. The very next day I went to a family member who looked at my car. Come to find out, the car-key battery just needed to be changed and only my brake pads needed to be changed. My brakes and rotors are in excellent condition and I barely drive as I work from home. I went to Brake Check and didn’t tell them what I was told, just to see what they would that is wrong with my car. They were honest and came back letting me know only my brake pads needed to be changed. I only paid $180 total while this place was trying to charge over $2,000 for unnecessary work. I wasn’t going to write a review but was called to see if I changed my mind on getting the work done and when I said no because they lied to me, the man on the phone said “Oh I’ll investigate it because that’s not okay”, but didn’t ask my anything about the situation or my experience. I have a 2015 Honda Accord and have never paid nowhere near the thousands for brakes, rotors and brake pads. I would not recommend this place not only because they are not trustworthy but also the pricing is more than anywhere else around from my experience!

My husband & I came to Lamb’s for the required emissions inspection to get our car registration. It was completed quickly & accurately (I’m sure). The personal caring service we received was outstanding! I use a walker & carry an oxygen tank. The attendant had us park right beside the door, got the walker out of the back & helped me get out of the car & make the step up the curb to the office. After the work was completed, he brought the car back to the door & helped me back into the car. Lambs made what could have been difficult almost easy! Thanks for excellent service.

Great experience at Lamb's. They did a total car check along with my oil change and tyre rotation. I got texts with a link to the report, and the manager Dylan was very polite. I'll be going back for sure.

I had an amazing experience at Lambs! I brought my car in for an oil change and for a diagnostic/repair with the automatic lock. Daniel greeted me and was very friendly. He gave me an accurate timeline and kept me updated throughout the repairs. They finished my car quickly and everything works great! I would definitely recommend using Lambs!

I had a great experience at Lamb’s Tire & Automotive. Big shout-out to Dylan, Mike, John, and Daniel—their service was excellent from start to finish. From the moment you walk in, they make you feel right at home. The shop has beautiful décor, a small children’s area, and a very clean restroom. Even though it’s an all-male staff, they keep the place smelling great and looking spotless, which really says a lot about their professionalism and attention to detail. If you’re looking for quality service in a clean, welcoming environment, this is definitely the place to go. Highly recommended!

What a joke of an establishment. This review needs to be read by anyone considering trusting Lamb’s Auto & Tires at the Round Rock / Hwy 79 location. On Tuesday, December 30th, my wife — who recently had surgery and is still recovering — was left stranded when our vehicle wouldn’t start. I attempted to jump it, and it did NOT behave like a normal dead battery. We had already replaced the starter earlier this year, and both my own mechanical intuition and the USAA roadside technician believed it was likely the starter again. We previously had great experiences with Lamb’s Auto on Far West, so naturally we expected similar honesty and professionalism here. We called ahead and spoke with Dylan, who confirmed we could bring the vehicle in and that the starter was still under their 24-month warranty, meaning they would take care of it. Once the vehicle arrived, everything changed. I was suddenly called by Steve, who said they wouldn’t take the car because it wasn’t originally serviced there, claiming they “didn’t know the part number” and couldn’t access the job information. When I reminded him that Dylan told us to bring it there and that he was the manager, Steve suddenly changed his position and said they could take it. Not long after, I got another call saying they’d be charging $24.99 for diagnostics. Fine. Then, after this “diagnostic,” they told me the battery was dead, that terminals needed to be cleaned, and that replacing the battery would cost me $458. When I questioned how insane that price was, I was met with attitude. Instead of explaining or helping, I got defensiveness and justification. Then magically, I got another call back offering a “special deal” of $350. That’s when it became clear what was really happening: They were using ambiguity and vague explanations to justify upcharges, instead of honoring the warranty work that should have been their priority. Troubleshooting zero. Transparency zero. They seemed far more interested in avoiding warranty responsibility than fixing the issue they are already responsible for. Every time I questioned the price or mentioned taking the car elsewhere, they suddenly found a new reason to hold onto the vehicle or “just run one more test,” conveniently keeping the car there long enough to try to find something else to bill for. On top of that, the battery they tried to sell me was still under warranty with AutoZone. AutoZone confirmed they would replace it free if needed. So why was Lamb’s pushing a $450+ battery job that I didn’t even need? At that point, it stopped feeling like a repair shop and started feeling like a place focused on maximizing charges through confusion, pressure, and fear. I told them not to touch the vehicle anymore and decided to handle the situation myself. I showed up and like “magic” the car was running just fine after they replaced the starter. We trusted Lamb’s Far West location and had great service there. This Round Rock / Hwy 79 location was the complete opposite experience: unclear communication, inflated pricing, warranty avoidance, and deliberate upselling. If you value honesty, transparency, and respect, do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. Update: tested my battery after cleaning the terminals which was gonna cost me $260 and turns out my battery is at 100% health. (A healthy battery read 12.6+) Well look at that. Things they diagnosed and tried to charge me for: - New battery $480 - New battery Special deal $350 - Diagnostics $24.99 - Terminals $260 - Nissan battery sensor - Not quoted Threatened with no warranty on starter if I did not fix those. I paid $1000 for the starter last time. Turns out, the battery was fine, the terminals needed some cleaning, the sensor was not a sensor is a fuse and the starter was the problem. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!
