My daughter paid $1200.00 to replace a compressor, it worked for one day. When asked to fix it, the worker was all attitude, acting like he didn’t have time to correct the issue that day. The next day my daughter had Dr appointments, and couldn’t be there until 4:30, to which the worker said ‘what do you expect me to do? It’s 4:30’ . I would expect him to correct the job he was paid to do, no matter what time it was. We didn’t give them a chance to correct or wreck anything else. The new shop we used also found a busted valve cover, and was still cheaper, even if they were more expensive- customer service matters! I’d gladly pay more for someone not to be rude or unkind to me.

These guys are the best. I had a difficult time finding a reasonably-priced mechanic I can trust in the area…that is until taking my car in for a few repairs at CATC. They fixed my A/C and Cody L did an excellent job repairing the front end which had been damaged for awhile. When I picked up my car, it looked and drove (almost) brand new, which is amazing for a 10-year old vehicle. They inspected it too, so they really did take care of everything I needed done. Very reasonably priced too. 10/10 would def recommend!

The guys at Central Texas Auto Care were fantastic! I brought my car in with a leaking transmission pan and warped brakes and they fixed it in record time so I could get on with my move across country. The car runs great, and we made it safely! To the boss and the colleague who decided to leave Josh to work by his lonesome self today. It sucks for y’all cause all the kudos and hands down will go to him. Despite him running the bays and pushing the paperwork, he did an amazing job of getting my vehicle taken care of. I waited patiently for the repairs of my vehicle, and boyyy did he have those customers in and out expeditiously. I trust him with my eyes closed! GREAT JOB Josh, keep up the great work.

I took my mother's minivan in for an oil change. I received fast and friendly service. They not only changed the oil, they checked and cleaned the air filters and checked the brake pads. Krystal took the time to show me the vehicle maintenance record and let me know what other services the van needed in the very near future. She was able to give a price for the other services needed and I found them to be reasonable. I plan to take the van back to have the work completed. Krystal and her team are amazing. I highly recommend Central Texas Auto Care.

This year my car ran into problem after problem. Dannie was patient and proactive as we spent weeks figuring out the back to back issues and resolving them. If you value your time, money, or sanity — stay far away from Central Texas Auto Care! I was a loyal customer of CTAC for over a decade, but after spending $2,324.57 this year trying to get a simple “check engine” light fixed, they installed a defective catalytic converter, charged me for additional parts and labor (likely unnecessary), gave me weeks of excuses, treated me terribly, and ultimately refused to honor their own warranty. Every visit, their mechanic promised “this will fix it” — but the light came back on within hours. After three rounds of parts and charges, I had the Jeep diagnosed elsewhere — the real problem was the defective catalytic converter they had installed. I gave CTAC multiple chances to correct this — but instead they stalled, lied about shipping delays, and their staff became openly hostile. They finally told me they would not replace the part or honor their own 36-month/36,000-mile warranty — and told me to take my Jeep elsewhere. After more than $2,300 wasted, CTAC left me with the exact same problem I came in with — and worse, I still couldn’t pass inspection. CTAC is not the honest shop it once was — and I will never return. You shouldn’t either.

They deserve zero stars. My sons truck was there for over 6 weeks for a repair he said would take two weeks. Then in week 5, the owner forged my name on the receipt so the warranty company would pay him the $4,000 for repairs but the repair wasn't complete and we didn't get the truck back until 5 days after he got paid. Very dishonest and against the law to forge someone's name and receive payment for repairs that weren't complete. Once we did get the truck back the owner denied forging my name, even though the warranty company had proof. The warranty company must have a signed invoice in order to pay and i didn't sign it because the truck wasn't done yet. So, someone other than me signed the invoice. On top of that the truck still had issues after we got it back, which included an oil leak it didn't have when we brought it in initially. We had to take it back 3 more times in the span of two weeks because the truck still had issues in addition to the oil leak. After the 3rd time, it was still leaking oil so we gave up with them and realized we'd need to take it somewhere else and spend more money. Turns out it had bolts missing from the oil pan and it wasn't sealed properly. Poor work and more money out of my pocket! This was the worst experience I've ever encountered with a repair shop and I would never recommend taking my vehicle to them.

Great customer service! I took my car in for brake inspection and turned out my brakes were good. Thank you Jesus 🙏🏼 However my car was making a squeaky noise when hitting bumps and speed humps so they test drove it and found my suspension/ball joints were bad. Replaced same day! Car is driving so much better now. Thank you to Danny (owner) and Tiffany for all of your help. 15 out of 10 for me!!

This company was amazing. I have an interlock device that was giving me so much trouble and they helped me so much with communicating with the company. I had to leave town for work as soon as possible and they had to install a new device in my car. They made sure to get everything done as fast as possible and get me on the road. AMAZING customer service and AMAZING quality of work. I’m so appreciative and they made my life so much easier. I wanted to take the time to leave a review because this is surely not the first time that I have had excellent customer service from this place. If you are looking for an honest, dependable, and trustworthy place to take your vehicle, Central Texas Auto Care is the place. I took my truck in early one morning without an appointment thinking I would have to be in limbo for a while, but Josh took my truck in and got it fixed and out of the ship in just half a day. Some Auto shops (especially dealerships) want you to fill out pages of paperwork before you can even get on the books up to weeks in advance. Central Texas Auto Care is a common sense, skilled, trustworthy, and excellent customer service. They are always super busy, but they never make you wait. I honestly don't know how they do it. I've used them for years now and I highly highly highly recommend them to everyone. They also won't rip you off on price. Their price is always well below any quote from other auto shops. Save yourself any further heartache and take your vehicle to Central Texas Auto Care.

I recently had to go to CTAC for a device to be installed from one vehicle to another and I cannot rave about this shop enough. Tiffany was so kind, patient and sweet and constantly kept me updated and was fantastic at communication throughout the entire process. Dannie was the mechanic who worked on both my vehicles and again was very kind and considerate and made the whole experience the best it could be. I have been bringing my car to Central Texas Auto Care for years, and they have always provided excellent service. Most recently, I had an unexpected issue during some bad weather, and they got my car in right away, diagnosed the problem quickly, and had it fixed the same day. Their team is friendly, professional, and truly cares about their customers. The technicians are thorough and explain everything clearly. I always feel confident leaving my car in their hands.
