This is the second time around now with two differrent vehicles that I was informed after a paid diagnostic that Firestone did not have the capability to repair the identified problem. This is the second time that I took my car to Kwik Kar Lube and Tune to get the job done. If they can do it, why can't you? My guess is either lack of interest/motivation or incapable mechanics

Went to diagnose engine troubles and got an inspection and code check. Issue turns out to have been with oil. Got the engine oil replaced as well. Prices and turnaround time were reasonable, and there wasn’t any excessive upselling on repairs or anything like that.

Check your invoices before leaving. They charged me for tire recycling when I kept my old tires after having them put new ones on for me. I called there to get a refund. The guy said it was something they always charged for. I said I kept my old tires and they kept saying it is something they always charged for. He then put me on hold to talk to someone then came back and ask if I told the front desk person ( Michael) If I was keeping the tires. I did tell Michael, and Michael also wrote on the work order that i was keeping the tires. How else would my old tires get put in the back of my truck if iIdidn't tell anyone? Would not be coming back to this location.

Waste of your time. Be ready to fend of pushy sales guys. Service advisor was useless. Right out of the gate he had no clue what he was doing and immediatly set up an upsell oppurtunity for one tire we did not need. Pushy and rude. Could barly understand the guy. Real low effort people. Store manager was no help either. Could not have cared less about us as customers. Just wanted to sell a tire. Staff was poorly dressed and dirty. Couldn't be bothered to look in the most obvious place for the wheel lock key. Advisor used his bare eye to determin tread depth on the tire. Saying the tire was no longer under warranty due to the "low tread depth." Then had to borrow a gauge from another employee to actualy measure the depth when I insisted he actually check the depth. Then said a seven does not qualify for replacement warranty. "Read the fine print," the manager said. Hope you guys enjoy the one star review. You absolutly deserve it. With just a litle effort you could have had a satisifed customer. No wonder your store looked closed as I pulled up. The place was a ghost town. Figures. This was the final nail in the coffin for Firestone. I'll never go to another of your stores ever again.

I called this Firestone location with a couple of basic questions regarding Tesla tires. I asked about a nail puncture repair and also asked what tire size my Tesla Model Y typically uses. The person on the phone gave very short answers and immediately said they “don’t have glue” for repairs, and also said they “don’t have” the Tesla tire size I asked about. No additional information was provided (for example, whether they could order the tire, what options they carry, or any next steps). Overall, it was not a helpful experience.

Very disappointed with my last interaction with this particular store. Always had a great experience before that, but not this time. Went in for a standard oil change, and the guy said that they couldn’t do it because the oil reservoir screw was slightly stripped and would not seal properly if they took it off. They suggested a $900 replacement of the entire reservoir. After a little bit of research and a $12 expandable rubber plug, I was able to get my oil change at another business and problem fixed. It’s particularly frustrating because they were trying to upsell my 17-year-old son, who doesn’t have that much experience dealing with car repairs. Felt disingenuous and abusive.

Staff was so rude and unhelpful. I spoke to Moe every interaction you could tell he hates his job. This place is extremely overpriced. I was quoted 867 and was able to get the same service and better quality customer service at Xpress Automotive for 314. He then rudely replied have your car towed elsewhere if you don't want to pay our price

A couple months ago I finally made it back to the shop to address some concerns I had from the last work order. Mike listened to my concerns and was very generous with his time and understanding. There is one thing that would be nice to improve with the team in whole - the communication between the advisors and the mechanics. Both times I've taken my care here, I've gotten really strange responses from the mechanics about things I never asked for, or dead silence about the things I did ask for. I still feel very safe and satisfied with the work they did.

I’ve been a customer here for a very long time and I’ve always had a great experience from start to finish. The staff is friendly, honest, and knows exactly what they are doing. They get me in and out quickly, explain my options clearly, and the pricing is fair. My vehicles drive great after they have been here. They forgot to do the primary service I went in for, took much longer than they said they would and also messed up the thing they attempted to fix. Their lack of testing led to a belt they installed falling off which caused my battery to die in the middle of the highway and caused my engine to overheat and totally shorted my battery. It wasn’t a perfect battery before but it was working great before with no service light at all, and afterwards it was completely dead and incapable of holding a charge. Unfortunately I can’t prove/quantify any damage or wear that was put on my engine as a result of the overheating. A gentleman who works there (name is Moe I believe) blamed me for it and refused service to fix their mistake. I had to hire a second mechanic to fix their work which costed me much more in the end. They agreed to refund me for the work they did, but not anything related to the battery or additional work I had to get after their refusal of service. This whole ordeal was a massive waste of my time and money, not to mention a huge safety risk. This is now the second time I’ve left Firestone with more issues than I arrived with. If you’re needing any real work done on your car I would find somewhere more trustworthy with legitimate mechanics. Taking your car to Firestone is a gamble.

Great service by Mr. Mo at Firestone, Carrollton, TX! I had replaced my tire at Discount Tire in Colony, but unfortunately they didn’t do a good job—my tire went flat again the very next morning. Since it was Sunday and Firestone was the only place open, I took my car to the Carrollton location. Mr. Mo provided exceptional service. He diagnosed the issue quickly, fixed the tire properly, and made sure everything was safe before I left. Truly outstanding customer care. Thank you, Mr. Mo, for your exemplary work! Highly recommended.
