What should have been a routine 30 min job max turned into a 4 hour ordeal. Normally I would have had a reasonable understanding but I wasn’t advised of the issue until after waiting for 3 hours. It is unlikely that I will return to have anything serviced even though the vehicle is still under warranty.

Hampton Chevrolet provides the worst service. Went in for a free State inspection since my car was purchased there. They refused to provide a free state inspection so they said my parking brake was inoperable and I was forced to pay $185 to adjust the parking brake. The parking brake worked perfectly when I dropped it off. Plus, the people at Hampton Chevrolet are just rude. I will not return.

As usual, Service Manager Kelly W. Pale and the Blue Team provided wonderful service! Service Manager Kelly W. Pale was kind and professional. Plus, Mile Wiggins, the GM certified technician, sent me a very detailed video, summarizing my vehicle's condition. Finally, the Wi-Fi signal in the lounge was strong, so I was able to enjoy my laptop while waiting.

Even though he was very busy Service Advisor Phill Stallings took time to talk to me. He surprised me by asked about my dog Luke who he remembered when I stopped in last time. Good place. The customer service sucks especially with the advisors they act like they don’t want to help or they don’t know anything. It’s so hard to get in touch with someone because nobody answers the phone. My car was there for two months they kept saying a part was on back order but so I called and said I was getting a lawyer that’s when they want to tell me the part will be there in 24 hours. This place is so unorganized and have no customers service.

After initially posting a very unpleasant review, I was contacted by the GM and they worked with me on a fair offer. I returned to the dealership less than a week later to pick up my truck. At the time they were having their holiday party. They invited me to participate and I spoke to the GM, Paul London. This goes to show that sometimes your reviews aren't always correct. I recommend visiting this location for your next Chevrolet. You might have to be patient but they will work with you on a fair deal.

Moved from Texas to Virginia in the last year and this service center charged, without exaggeration, 3 times more for the exact same service conducted less than a year ago in Texas. They quoted one service at 4 times what it cost in Texas. For reference: an oil change, filer changes, and transmission service in Texas cost 450 last fall, while a transmission service ALONE was quoted at 900 dollars at this service center today, which with the same other servicing would have totaled nearly 1400 dollars. Furthermore, they did not attach the inspection report that I’ve gotten at every other standard service interval at other dealerships, leading me to believe they did not inspect anything at all. Service was however accomplished in a timely manner and they were easy to work with.

Scheduled an oil change for 8:45am, did not receive a call saying my car was done until almost 2pm. It took 5 hours to do an oil change and when I asked the man if that was normal, he had the nerve to say yes. Clearly won’t ever be coming here again.

While service remains quality, I am disappointed in the changes recently made to the forever oil change policies. As a faithful customer who only uses Chevrolet First Team for all my repair needs, I was disappointed when I was told that declining a $39.00 tire rotation would basically void the perks of providing advertisements while displaying the First Team decal on my vehicle. Annually, I spend on average $500 in maintenance and repairs and to know that a policy change would affect my continued business was disheartening. While I had been looking to potentially purchase another vehicle from First Team Hampton this has greatly impacted my decision.

Terrible service. Took vehicle in for oil change, tire rotation and inspection. Had me wait for over two hours. Went to get an update on the work and noticed everyone was gone. Turns out they only did the inspection. No oil change or tire rotation. EVERYONE JUST LEFT AND DIDNT WORK ON MY VEHICLE. Wasted two hours of my time and didn’t even do the main services I took my vehicle in for. AVOID THIS SERVICE DEPARTMENT.

I’ve never had a bad experience with the staff here. Shortly after buying my car, I had a few issues (manufacturer error), and they immediately took care of everything. From setting me up with a rental to getting the parts and repairs done quickly, they made sure I was always taken care of. Whenever I come in for routine service, the wait is never long, and the team is always professional and friendly. My two service advisors, Mr. Mike and Ms. Kelly, have been amazing! I recently made a mistake about where I could get my car serviced, and Ms. Kelly went out of her way to help explain my situation to the manager and get it sorted out. Truly outstanding!

Took my truck there a few weeks ago because check engine light was on. After not hearing anything all day I called to check on it. Left message with Ms Pale. No return call. I tried again and hour later and no answer at all. I tried again 30 mins later and got the answering service and she tried for 10 mins and got back on the line to tell me no one answered. About 15 minutes later David in service called and said they were doing the diagnostic on my truck then and he would call me back. Call back in 20 minutes and said they have never pulled my truck in the shop yet, so I asked him why he lied to me and he acted like it was no big deal.He told me to pick it up and bring it back on Monday, I ask what was wrong with Saturday, his response wa we only have 2 techs on Saturday. I got mad and told him I was coming to get my truck and take it somewhere else, his response was no problem. No apology for lying to me at all. I got to the dealership to get my truck and all David had to say was smile at me and say no problem again. No apology for how I was treated, worst attitude ever. I go to sales department and talk to one of the managers and inform him I would never buy another vehicle from there again. AFTER BUYING 15 VEHICLES OVER THE YEARS. He tried to help me and contact the sales manager, but no contact on his part. About an hour later I got a call from David and told me to come and get a vehicle to drive and I told him I was done with the dealership and once again his response, no problem. The sales team from the management to the salesman have always treated me good and been nothing but professional. I have had problems with the service team the last 3 times. The service manger should know the actions of his employees reflects on his leadership and ultimately the dealership. The least I thought would happen would be the service manager would call and follow up with me on what happened and try to make it right. Its a shame to see the sales side of the dealership be punished for what the service side does.
