My family and I have used Cider Tire for as long as I can remember. Fair pricing and honesty. If you don't need a product he won't try to upsell you. The hours posted online do not reflect when he is open. Call ahead or pull in when the garage is actually open. I will continue to support this local business as long as it's still there.

Been coming to this guy for years since a good friend recommended his services. I googled to see the hours of operation, and since my tire is blown and I can't go anywhere, took the time to read some comments. I never found him rude like a few of these commentators have. He's not always shiny and happy but no one is. He always gets the job done in good time and doesnt try to cheat you on the price. Literally never had a problem so check him out. Dont judge a book by its cover.

This place does not honor the hours listed. Went there 3 diff times to have some tires put on but it’s always closed. Final time was on a Saturday at 2pm and he told me they were closed. I asked when are they actually open so I could come back at that time and he advised when he doesn’t have more important things to do and waved me away before he just walked off.

I trusted the other reviews that the previous bad reviews were from previous ownership. The owner now is amazing. It seems to be a one man show where he does everything. He’s super quick, thorough, and seems to be passionate about his job. Relays every detail to you. A rare find!

Recently bought a rim. We told the guy exactly the size we needed and purchased what he recommended even though we did not have our trailer with us. Figured he is a tire expert so was trustworthy. Paid $45 for the rim even after he told us $25 and then changed the price. The rim did not fit on our axel. When my son tried to return it or simply exchange it for the correct rim, was told he did not have one and would only buy back the rim for $15. WTH! You sell us a rim and say it’s the correct size and when it’s the wrong size due to your error, you won’t give us the exact price we paid? I will never, ever use this place again or recommend it to anybody. That is just bad business. June 20, 2024 In response to owner reply…. We did give you exact rim measurements. You told us the one we bought was the correct size we needed. Size was written down and verbally relayed to you. As to the phone conversations you are referring to….we never once contacted you by phone. I am not really sure what you are talking about. The rim was brought back to you for an exchange. Was told you had no more and all you could refund was $15 on a rim that we payed $45 for…

You had the best tire guy on ever i have a jeep cherokee xj and hard to find tires my rear one has had a leak for months i brought it to 5 shops and everyone said the tire was dry rotted this guy inspected the tire better than any inspector on my jobsites and found a small patch that was pulling free by the vave stem saved my tire and my saturday overtime day who ever that was thanks man

Cider Tires in Hampton is one of the best, the most courteous, and the most inexpensive places to get a new or used tire. Josh is awesome. My gf went to get a tire replaced last minute as he was closing. Instead of turning her away, Josh took care of her. He even put air in my basketball, free of charge. Really nice guy, I was struggling for DAYS to get some 4 wheeler tires off the rim and couldn’t do it, I drove up asked if he could and he told me just come with the tires and he’ll give it a shot…he was able to get them off super quick
