Always answered my questions. Were very helpful in having to deal with insurance companies. They made it easier for me to pick up car and return rental car at the same time. I also appreciated my car being cleaned. At least on the outside and the front. It was really a mess.

We had the unfortunate pleasure of working with Fitzgerald Collision due to an unexpected encounter with a mailbox (mailbox 1, Tahoe 0). From the moment we called, to schedule an estimate appointment, we had a great experience. Matt was able to schedule us quickly, and the day we came in for the estimate, Erica and Ben took great care of us. Ben walked us through the estimate, as well as the timeline for repairs. Ben even arranged to have the vehicle cleaned up some prior to the repairs occurring since there was a delay between getting the estimate and drop off for repairs. Erica was very friendly and professional. She took the time to communicate with us every step of the way. The repairs took a little longer than expected, but that was due to backordered parts, which was out of Fitzgerald Collisions control. Despite the inconvenience, we appreciated that Erica communicated transparently with us. In the end, our vehicle repairs were completed sooner than expected (bonus) and were of great quality. Highly recommend!

They did above average work compared to most body shops so they got 5 stars not 4. I had to have them adjust the rear hatch after they "returned" the car to me as the alignment was a little off, which they did with minimal hesitation. It took forever, but I can't blame them for parts delays. The paint does look almost factory, there is no "orange peel" like a lot of other body shops. They did not call me but, when I called they were always polite and gave me an update. Shop manager was excellent.

They have had my car for almost 2 months. There has been minimal communication about the delay. I was not given the option of taking my car until they had parts they needed. I was told my car would be ready 7/31. Then 8/1. I was never told it would not be ready 8/1. I called, was told they would return the call. They did not return my call. I called again. No info on when I can have my car. Their service and communication is absolutely horrendous. Do yourself a favor and take your business elsewhere!!

I backed into my garage door and scraped my car to the metal, but the amazing team at Fitzgerald Collision Center were top notch from start to finish. Scheduling and in shop time were super easy to setup and confirm. I received text updates on status at all phases of the repair. The finished work looks factory flawless, so 5 stars all the way. This was on a Soul Red Crystal Mazda Miata which is a very complex paint to work with, and it looks perfect.

So it has been a year since I took my Cadillac CT4 Blackwing here after it was involved in a wreck. While this place is affiliated with the Fitzgerald dealerships here with Frederick you expect to get a OEM quality feel. The employees were very attentive to my needs when I called they picked up I give them that. But after the year I’ve came to the conclusion that there was so many minor misses whether it be bolting my seats back into place or simply snapping plastics where they should go all the way to still seeing damaged parts on my vehicle. With a job that was close to $30,000.00 you’d expect it to come back squeaky clean. All in all customer service was FANTASTIC work is decent but not done with pride or care.

Considering I hit an eight point buck at 50 mph my equinox looked totaled but it wasn’t. Fitz. Did an amazing job with a laundry list of repairs and replacement parts my car looks brand new and they even touched up a dig in the side driver door that was done by my mailbox. I will def. Use this company again. Communication was excellent as well.

With going to other collision centers to find a quote for my 2019 car, Fitzgerald was the best quote I could find. They have exceptional customer service, and did an amazingly fast repair on my car! When I first went in, my first estimate was a little high, but I was willing to pay the price for the damage I had done to my own car, and wasn't going to use my insurance. With advice from around I had learned parts for cars change, so before I had Fitzgerald work on my car, I also made sure the estimate was going to be the same. With this being said, the technicians and office staff re did my quote and got the estimate down. What a relief. I'm very happy and pleased with Fitzgerald for helping and being honest and loyal to their customer. If and when I do decide to get more repairs for my car, I will definitely go back to them for my car repairs. Thank you so much for all you all do!! Much appreciated. Oh and when you walk into their office, take the time to read their window. They really do have some brain teaser quotes, questions, for you to figure out. Thanks yall

From Someone Who Truly Cares About Their Car: DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE! I brought my car here for repairs after an accident, and the experience was absolutely horrible. First visit: They sent my car back with a dented door—despite alleging that they ordered a "new" door—and it didn’t even align properly with the rest of the car. The window wouldn’t roll all the way up. Yet this passed their quality control and they thought it was acceptable to return it in that condition. Second visit: The door wouldn’t close fully unless SLAMMED shut. They scratched the window tint and hid that fact from me. My rear bumper was also scratched during removal. I waited days for their “specialist” to touch it up—only to find out it was the equivalent to someone using a paint pen from Advance Auto. The paint didn’t match or blend at all. Also, the door lock mechanism was never reconnected. Third visit: They failed to hook up the side mirror sensor that alerts you when someone’s beside your car. The door trim was improperly installed, leaving fabric edges exposed and causing water leaks inside. The fender and doors still don’t align, and the window makes a worrying clanking noise when it hits the bottom—a terrible sound with expensive glass. I also told them that the trim was not properly installed on the bottom of the door, and it was returned to me the exact same way. Despite a verbal agreement to cover the cost of the scratched tint, they never followed through or responded to my inquiries. On top of everything, they never cleaned the interior—all three times, the car was covered in dust. Every other body shop I’ve been to at least blows the dust out before returning the vehicle. I reached out twice via email seeking resolution and never received a response. I have videos showing how badly the trim was replaced the the window sound (it won't let me upload them).

As of today, we are still dealing with an issue caused by improper installation. A side piece they installed came loose and fell off. The shop took the part, saying they needed it to order a replacement. Now, every time we call, we get a different story, the part is on backorder, or they don’t remember taking the piece out. The lack of accountability and communication has been extremely frustrating. This issue should have been resolved long ago, and instead we are being given excuses. Very disappointing experience at Fitzgerald Collision in Frederick, MD.(1439 Tilco Dr Frederick md 21704). Management or ownership needs to step in and contact us to resolve this ongoing issue.
