This was my first time visiting this mechanic shop due to needing a repair and seeing the Google reviews, I decided to take a chance. I came in needed to have my car ac repaired as it stopped blowing cold air. I spoke with the owner Carlos who was genuine and professional and explained to him my situation. He immediately jumped on the situation and had one of his tech take a look at my ac issue to diagnose the issue. The one highlight I appreciated from the mechanic was that he broke down the different symptoms that could be happening and took it a step further to even show me how he test the symptoms to find the cause which in my experience most mechanics don't do, but he surely did. After finding the problem and realizing my compressor was the cause, the next nightmare in my head was cost of a new compressor. After speaking with Carlos again, believe it or not his cost for the compressor was reasonably priced and he even went ahead and showed me his cost vs other competitors. I even told him if he could also take care of some other repairs and without hesitation he took care of me. I left the mechanic shop feeling satisfied with now a working ac amongst other repairs and if I were ever to need any future repairs, I would definitely come back to his more than I would my own dealer repair shop. Not once did I feel I was being ripped off or taken advantage of and not once did I feel anything sketchy more so that I plan to bring other repairs to his shop all for the level of comfort I felt from his. I encourage anybody who needs repairs to definitely check him out and as ling as he continues to run his company on integrity and trust I pray that he stay successful for the years to come.

I had a great experience! They helped me get the most out of my insurance claim after I was rear ended. I also needed other work done to my car in which they were extremely helpful to make sure everything was taken care of without unreasonably charging for things that were unnecessary. I am not the most car savvy person but they made me feel comfortable working with them to ensure my car is in good shape.

Excellent customer service at Flame Auto Repair. The air conditioning on my car died when I came back in town after being away for months. I went on line late last night to request an appointment for today. I received a response within an hour, offering me an appointment for 10:30 this morning. Super experience with Carlos and his crew when I needed a quick turn around repair of a damaged sideview mirror that was hanging off the car and scrapes to the driver's side door. He was much faster than the alternative body shops available in Fort Lauderdale. The work looks beautiful. Just an aside: bring cash if possible to avoid service fees (3%) for credit cards. I'll be passing along a recommendation for this shop to my friends in Fort Lauderdale.

01/02/24 I had some problems identified with my exhaust that was causing the car to have no power or acceleration. I called Carlos and he was able to fit me even though it was the end of day. They checked the car and immediately knew what the problem was. My catalytic converter had gone bad. The whole process was extremely transparent he quoted me how much the parts would cost, the labor, and got me in my car in 1 day. I won’t bring my car anywhere else they saved me money not having to get a new catalytic converter and made sure not to charge me for things the car didn’t need. 07/25/24 I had to give my guys at flame auto repair another 5/5 review. This is the third time straight that something happened to me driving home from work. My muffler broke off the exhaust system. It was dragging on the ground while I was driving. I called him an hour before the shop closed and he told me to bring it by so they could check it out. In less than 15 minutes one of his guys was spot welding it back on. They showed me where the damage was and how he was going to fix it. In less than an hour he welded it back on showed me it was secure and my car was running perfectly. Carlos and his crew really care about their customers. I was there after they were supposed to be closed and they made sure I left with my car in working condition. Since no additional parts were needed they just charged me for labor which came out to 100 bucks for the welding. I can’t recommend them enough. I will again say I’ll never take my car anywhere else. You cannot beat the transparency, prices, and quality of people that work there. This is the second time they fix my car in an hour at the end of the day. See photos below for the work they did

Flame Auto Repair was Heaven Sent. I submitted a request through a website called “Yelp”, and Carlos responded. We discussed my vehicle repair needs, I agreed to the estimate, and he sent a tow to pick up the car from the house. They didn’t try to push any upsell for additional/optional/unnecessary repairs, unlike most mechanics I’ve been to in the past. I was incredibly impressed with Flame Auto and with Carlos. I am visiting Hollywood and had a concern that I might have damaged the underside of my car. Since I am going to be driving the car back to Massachusetts in a few days, I wanted to make sure there was nothing serious going on. I found Flame online and read a review of a situation similar to mine and so I called. I was so impressed when Carlos told me to come over any time. He was so pleasant and efficient when I arrived; he quickly did a visual inspection of the outside of the car, took it on a short test drive and then put it right up on the lift. He and a fellow tech examined it in detail, with me watching, and they explained what they saw (fortunately nothing of concern). I was done there within about 20 minutes and after that excellent customer service, Carlos didn’t even charge me! It’s so rare these days to find a small business that comes close to providing the service that Carlos and Flame Auto provided today. I totally recommend this business and send my sincere thanks to Carlos and his team.

Flame Auto Repair did an amazing job on my car! They fixed both my front and back bumper and had it done exactly when they said they would. The price was really fair too. Their communication was great the whole time, and they even went above and beyond — someone accidentally hit my tail light before I picked up my car, and they fixed it for free! Super fast and Carlos was very professional. I’ll definitely come back if I ever need work done again. Highly recommend!
