Very honestly priced, with top notch quality!! They rebuilt my explorer transmission which had numerous issues, now it shifts like silk, and no more rattling, clunking, slipping, delayed and hard shifts, and the OD light is no longer on plus my cruise control even works now!! I called all the transmission shops in fort wayne and they had the best price, and quality, and they back there work with a warranty!! Thank you Fort Wayne Transmission!! By far the Best!!!

I went to Ft. Wayne Transmission Center on a recommendation. I talked to Alex before deciding to bring my truck in for the repairs. He was patient with all of my questions and explained things in detail. Rather than replacing, he rebuilt the original transmission. He gave me a price up front and didn't go over that price once the repairs were complete. Also, the rebuilt transmission has a 12 month, 12,000 mile warranty. It has been 3000 miles since the rebuild and zero issues. I highly recommend Alex and Ft. Wayne Transmission Center.

Very pleased with the service provided. I’ve had two vehicle’s transmissions rebuilt by them with no issues!! On time and, ask him to look at something just to make sure it wasn’t anything to do with the transmission, (which it wasn’t) they had no problem with checking it out for me , even recommending what might be wrong. I highly recommend them if your transmission needs work!

I needed a simple fluid change in my E-CVT. The dealer priced this service at $270, so I called and got other quotes, then priced purchasing the OEM fluid, which cost just over $30. Fort Wayne Transmission Center charged just $50 labor, and in less than a week I had an appt and it was done! This is an old time auto repair shop, without the coffee machine, TV, or horrible piped in music, and apparently they can charge a lot less, too. Located near the Target store at Glenbrook, I went for a short walk, shopped a little. When I got back to the shop it was done.

My truck needed a new transmission. It was covered under warranty, but had issues after I got it back. Took it back the shop that replaced the transmission, they had it for over 3 weeks and asked me to take it somewhere else for a second opinion. At my dad's recommendation, I took the truck here and they had it diagnosed and back to me within 48 hours at a very reasonable price. Nice people and easy to work with. Thank you!!

Alex and his team were great to work with. The price and time frame quoted were accurate. Communication was excellent. Price was as good as I could find. Warranty was better than anyone else. We have put about 700 miles on the CVT transmission that they put in. So far, no issues . They do charge quite a bit for paying with a credit card though.

I have been searching for a while on if my Jeep Cherokee needed a transmission fluid change….It’s at 80k miles and has gone on some epic road trips. (Rockies and Appalachian mountains) User manual says it’s not necessary for the life of the vehicle (!?) helloooo scheduled obsolescence! No thanks. My dad raised me to maintain my vehicles! Anyway, a coworker recommended Fort Wayne Transmission Center and I called them up and spoke with Joe as to what they recommended, and if they would/could do that task for me. He did some digging and called me back within an hour to tell me that it does need done, so we scheduled an appointment for the next week and here I sit, as Jeff does the labor. They were really professional and friendly. The location is what you would expect for an automotive shop. I recommend to bring your own beverage, if you’re expecting a coffee carafe waiting for you… there isn’t one, this is straight up a shop. It has a nice charm. I think ppl typically drop off their vehicles for some of the more labor intensive jobs. They do have a comfortable lobby, bring headphones and something to do if you’re planning to wait. The service cost me around 500$ for the fluid and labor to get to it. About 2hrs. Whereas a new transmission for my vehicle is currently quoted at about 5-6K. I’d like to avoid that. Forever. 🤣
