Went to my noon appointment Saturday for service. They clearly over booked and were overwhelmed. Upon entering, I'm told the 25000 miles service of topping off fluids and rotating the tires and fixing a computer recall will be 4 hours. What!? I can't sit there 4 hours on a Saturday! The rep got a great that I was angry so I left. No service done but I enjoyed every bit of my recovered 4 hours. I'd you plan to wait ask them how long it will take before you agree to the appointment @

I've been using Fred Anderson now for about well let's say a few years. I read other people's reviews and wonder what service advisor the people with bad reviews got. I use only one advisor there CHRISSIE RICE....never a lie told and never anything sold that is not needed. It's not so much as trusting Fred Anderson Toyota but more along the lines of trusting my service advisor Chrissie. So the next time your having problems and can't get anything done.....call Chrissie for your next appointment. Sounds like a commercial lol but it's true! Keep up the good work

We bought our 4-runner from Fred Anderson Toyota 3 years ago and we couldn't be happier with our decision. Our experience dealing with Eddie Cooks (salesman) and Don Hesher (sales manager) was amazing. They made buying a car so easy, and honestly was the best experience that I've ever had buying a car. The only place I would take my car for any service. I moved to SC 3 years ago and took my car for oil change and some repairs. The people who work there are great, kind, approachable and provide wonderful customer service. Christina in Service took care of my car and was so knowledgeable. She answered all my questions and I felt very comfortable leaving my car there. Their prices are reasonable and I have never had any surprises.

Every time we come in there it’s something new. This time around it was a 4 hour wait for my wife and 3 month old son despite having an appointment. This 4 hours was for a simple oil change and tire patch. All in all: It was 264 bucks for all of the up charges they’ll try to claim as required. It’s pure Stereotypical preying on those who aren’t knowledgeable of what maintenance is absolutely necessary. If your idea of “family care” is a 63 dollar air filter then by all means go and have your vehicle serviced there. If not, Jiffy Lube is $29.99 and takes 15 minutes.

I have found my Toyota shop! We just got a new Toyota grand highlander, and as we were driving it back into town, it started making a loud screeching noise. We brought it to another dealership in Charleston (who shall remain nameless) that told us it was just the brakes settling in, it would resolve on it's own and we're lucky they didn't charge us a diagnostic charge. Warranty, anyone? We were worried about owning a Toyota in Charleston after that. Then, I looked at the reviews of Fred Anderson (which is a little further drive for us) and saw they had really good reviews. So I called and explained our situation and they were so sympathetic and immediately got us in. The car was fixed quickly during it's appointment time. They figured it out so fast...it was a dust cover rubbing on the rotors. They even took it on a test drive to ensure it was fixed and no longer making noise. We are SO happy to have our new car working properly - we love it! We are so thankful to all of the kind people we met at Fred Anderson. I am really glad we now have a Toyota shop to come to for all service needs and we will be buying the next Toyota we need (to replace our 2005 highlander in a year or so) from Fred Anderson. This is our Toyota now :-)

Worst service we’ve ever had. Bought the service plan 9 years ago and at least 75% of the time it’s hours and hours more than quoted. Horrible customer service. When they try and “find a manager” they are conveniently always busy. Love Toyota the brand. Hate Fred Anderson Toyota and their unethical and unprofessional service department!!!

Absolutely horrific service. I wish I could give ZERO STARS. Each and every time I come here to service my Toyota that I bought from this place I am miss quoted how long it will take to service my car. I am currently waiting for an oil change, fluid flush and tire rotation and it has been almost 3 1/2 hours! I was told 2-2.5 hours and even that is ridiculous. I had an appointment and this is absolutely absurd! I am shocked that they don’t have a one star from every single person who has ever gotten service here. If you buy a car from Fred Anderson do not get the family plan as service here is expensive and you will get stuck sitting at the dealership for hours and hours and hours. I bought my car here 9 years ago and EVERY SINGLE TIME I come here I am made to wait longer than quoted for my car. Learn from my mistake and do not get service here.

I brought my car in for routine maintenance and found out it was time for some major replacements. Chrissie was so knowledgeable and patient as she answered all of our questions. Steve brought me home in the shuttle as the work was expected to take all day. Chrissie kept us informed thought the day. Even though her workday already ended, Tiera picked me up in the shuttle at 5:30pm that evening so I was able to have my car back for our road trip the next day. These individuals went above and beyond in making sure we had an excellent experience!
