I’ve been coming here for a few years every since my mom recommended them to me (she’s been going to him for years as well). He’s always so sweet, helpful and completely honest when it comes to your car. I remember one time my AC went out in my car and I tried to go somewhere that 2 minutes up the street on old Richmond going towards west airport, and they tried to charge me well over a 1,000 for my ac and other parts that weren’t even needed. My mom told me to go and try friends car care and see what he says, and my goodness I should’ve done that in the first place. It was HALF the freaking price and let me tell you , my AC works like brand new. This is always my go to place. Yesterday, as I was omw home, the dust cover unhooked from underneath my car (didn’t know what it was at the time)and i was so determined to NOT go anywhere else I drove from 59 and Bissonnet with my emergency lights on just so I could come here. * If you’re someone in a rush. I’d try my best to be one of the first ones here at 9am since it’s just him at the moment *

I'm so happy I found this shop. I saved hundreds of dollars coming here for my brake repair. I was charged hundreds less than what other shops were quoting me and didn't even need the parts I thought I would have to purchase. I was even able to get my car worked on Saturday morning. The shop was busy but they were able to fit me in. My car is driving and stopping like brand new again.

One of most trustworthy and reliable car repair expert. Yes expert. I have been customer for more than six years. now I don't even bother calling anyone else. I get coupons for oil change and state inspection. I rather pay him few $ more than take my 2005 to 2019 cars to someplace else.

I am so happy that I found Friends Auto Care. Mr. Zia, the owner, is one of the most honest and genuine people that I have ever met and I am so glad that he happens to be a mechanic. I thought several things were wrong with my car but he took a look and told me what was really wrong and told me to only repair that. I could have been taken advantage of since I don’t know anything about the work that needed to be done but Mr. Zia treated me right. I would not hesitate to take any of my cars here and I recommend it to anyone that asks where they should take their car. Thank you Mr. Zia!

Zia has really helped me out in a tight spot several times. He's a good mechanic, honest. But he can be prickly, and there are jobs he won't take. Usually he just wants to coast by on inspections and brake jobs. I like him , but he doesn't really want to work on engines.

Zia is the rudest mechanic i have ever done business with. He never told me what needed to be fixed; just kept uping the price as days progressed. He hung up in my face multiple times and yelled at me and my friend after she tried to acquire more information for me while I was at work. Furthermore, he never answers the phone on time and notified me my car was ready 2 weeks after everything was fixed. Lastly, he lied about putting new tires on my vehicles and when i arrived the "new" tires barely had meat and looked worn.

Excellent service! The mechanic, Mr. Zia, is very friendly and straightforward. I was referred to him by a friend and Mr. Zia definitely met expectations. After a test drive, he didn't waste time trying to push any products or services and laid out simple solutions to my car troubles. Definitely coming back to him for further maintenance/repairs!

I have nothing but the most positive things to say here about Friends Car Care! A family member first went here and recommended my siblings and I to do the same some years back. After 5 years of incredible quality work, impeccable customer service and honest, amazing, fair prices I no longer go anywhere for maintenance or check ups on my vehicles. I’ could go on and on about the quality of service you’ll receive here but I’ll just leave it at this... I moved an hour away about 1 year ago and still drive here for my routine oil changes and should anything go wrong again I’ll make that trip because i trust them! Definitely recommend!

Came here to get an alignment on my car.... Till I got to the place... Saw a lady ask him about her AC and the owner was giving her attitude... When I asked him to give me an estimate time he gave me attitude as well and tried to hold my elbow till I told him not to touch me at all.... I don't recommend places like this at all.... I cursed because you have no right to pull a customer from his elbow what do ever....

The Very Best In Houston, If you are looking for a mechanic you can trust , one who is Honest, Knowledgeable, Fast, Efficient, reasonably priced and offers "top notch" service and NO BS, look NO further!!!! Zia was able to diagnose and fix the issue on my car in a very short amount of time. I will definitelty be back to see him if I should have car problems in the future
