Jake C., Assistant Service Manager, was very helpful as he checked me in. I needed an oil change and inspection as I was going on a cross country trip. I had recently bought a new Sante Fe there and it wasn't quite time for an oil change, but I wanted to make sure the car was in good shape before taking off. Jake and the technicians were timely and provided documentation of the inspection including photos. This was all done at no charge. I had no issues on the trip of over 5000 miles. Good people at Friendship Hyundai in Johnson City.

I’ve had two purchases through this dealership and the first was great and an amazing car which is why I came back. The second experience not so much. The second purchase I was forced to buy the Permaplate protection as it was ‘already on the car’. Fast forward a year and I noticed chipping on the front black grill of this Palisade. I filed a claim and Permaplate denied it saying it’s a Hyundai paint problem. I just came in for an oil change and asked the associate about it. She claims it’s rock chips and asked if I drive on 26 a lot. I don’t. Same driving area as previous car from Limestone to Jonesborough. She said Hyundai would deny it and advised I claim on insurance. I never had an issue with the grill on my Santa Fe over 5 years in the same driving areas as this Palisade. I’ve come across multiple pages complaining about the manufacturing of this grill. Apparently it’s an issue of black paint applied to chrome without an appropriate primer. I’ve recommended this dealership in the past, but considering the complacency to a known manufacturing issue, I will no longer do so. If a dealership cannot stand by the products and add on plans they sell, it lacks integrity. I will likely trade in for a different vehicle brand although I fell in love with Hyundai through my Santa Fe.

Just bought my Hyundai Tuscon Limited and I love it! It has every bell and whistle you can imagine. The car is comfortable and quiet. Very happy! Kevin, our sales associate was fantastic! Helpful, knowledgeable, professional, and so personable. He and his dog Lulu were wonderful to work with. Gabriel, in fiancé, was also helpful, professional, knowledgeable, and personable. There was no high pressure sales and they beat the interest rate on my loan by over 2% from my credit union. Very good experience through the entire process. A friend had recommended them to me and she was right! I would definitely buy from them again.

My wifes car paint all of a sudden started peeling & we was both dumb founded about the issue & I done some research & found out that the paint used on her car had a known problem of peeling & chipping & hyundai had a warranty on the paint. I'm always pleased with the courtesy show by the staff at Friendship Hyundai. Durning my last visit, Patrick was assigned to service my vehicle, checking over the car before stating the oil change. It noticed that it was time to provide some regular maintenance. Patrick spoke with me about the maintenance needed, informed me of the cost and ask- if I would like to take of maintenance that day are at another time that worked better for me. Heather Lee at Friendship Hyundai in Johnson City, TN. Was very pleasant to work with while getting my car serviced.she and the mechanic kept me up to date on my SUV while I was there. I didn't have an appointment either and they worked me in because my tire pressure was pretty low. The service mechanics was very nice too, & told me what was wrong with my tire (a nail in it) and the cost of a new tire before fixing it. I'm glad they are very up front with you about everything. This is a very good dealership to purchase a Hyundai from, & the service team are excellent too! Very thankful for them.

It was very easy dealing with this company. I found several cars I was interested in on their web site. The salesman ( James) was great. He was very quick with getting me information I asked for and helped me narrow down my choice. There was no pressure. Most of our communicating was by email and text. When I decided on a car that was at another Friendship dealer in WV he arranged to get it delivered to Johnson City within days and had it all cleaned up and ready to go before we got there to pick it up. James was great with explaing how to use the numerous features in the car and got us all connected with our phones and other set up items. He made sure we had all our questions answered before we left. He has also followed up with us several time since the sale to make sure we didn't have questions. Based on our experience, I would highly recommend this dealereship.

We drove from out of state to purchase a 2019 Mini Cooper for our daughter in October that this dealership had on their lot. The purchase was smooth and everyone was very nice. The reason for the lower star rating is due to the lack of support we received once we took possession of the car when trying to get the license plate/tag for the car. I waited until December 10th to ask for an update. Per the photo attached I was told (or yelled at) that it was being mailed out by the DMV. I called on the 16th to speak to a manager as we had still not received anything and the tags expired on the 22nd of December. They tried to track the package but said the tracking was not valid or it wasn't scanned into the system. The person I spoke to said they would try to get answers and call me back. The sales rep that sold us the car called me back and told me that if I don't get it by the 22nd that I have to go to the DMV and figure it out. I ended up having to take time off of work, go and sit at the DMV and pay all of the fees so I could get a new plate. I will have to return to the DMV once the lost plate is delivered so I can surrender it and pay the property tax in order to get the tag for the car. We received the package December 24th. The postage on the package is dated Nov 21st. The tracking shows the package was mailed out December 16th. I am not sure what the holdup was however I can say in all the years of buying cars from dealerships (I have bought MANY cars and a lot of them have been out of state) not once have I ever had this hard of a time getting the registration paperwork. I get that the DMV can slow things down. The dealership was helpful selling us the car and once we took possession of the car it felt like they really didnt care to help me once they had my money. Pretty disappointing.

Overall a very positive experience. Jim was always available and patient about explaining details both of the car and the process of buying the car. So far I'm very happy with the vehicle and continue to learn more about all the technology and safety features available in the car. The Hyundai warranty is probably the best in the business particularly that I have the Elantra hybrid. I was surprised and pleased to get a refund check for an overcharge online registration and license plate. Also received a refund check from Hyundai finance. Have gotten a lot of complementary remarks about the car. My car is is a 2025 Hyundai Elantra SEL sport model it was bought on January 2nd 20 26 . The latest Internet reviews rates it as the America's most few efficient sedan. As they like to see at friendship we're dealing 👍
