My wife and I live in southeast Michigan. We came up here for a few days vacation. But the sensor on our cooling system went bad. Leaving us with no A/C or a temperature gauge. After calling a number of dealers and shops here, No one would help until next week. Even after I explained our story. I then called G & K Automotive. After telling them my story he had both integrity and compassion to let me bring my car to him even when he was booked up. He repaired my car in a timely fashion and he didn’t overcharge me. I was between a rock and a hard place. I would highly recommend this shop to everyone. May God bless him and his shop.

They fix the transmission, and it was in multiple times after. They could not diagnose without a code and when the code came up it was oxygen and the cat code. Waiting to see if it does it again and I will check the diagnostics next time. Still shifts hard but they have tried and put it in several times so I give them credit. If it keeps up I'm sure they will fix it if it's their fault based on reviews

We recently purchased a car for our granddaughter that GK automotive had repaired for years. The car was in his shop for a couple small issues that GK automotive would not let go until they were corrected. Upon inspection Greg found a few more issues that needed repaired before they would let the car leave the shop. GK Automotive took care of the needed repairs at no additional cost because he wanted the car to be correct, I highly recommend this repair facility!!! Great honest repair facility that you can count on

I've been here more than once for issues with my 2010 Ford Escape. Unfortunately, I recently had 2 problems back-to-back (neither had anything to do with the other), which was simply bad timing on my vehicle's part. G&K always calls me to explain what the problem(s) is/are and what the cost will be prior to beginning the repairs.

I brought my car in for the usual tire rotation and oil change last month. I never used this garage before and I gave them a good review in Carfax. Then I learned, when I brought my car to the tire shop to have the sensors replaced, that G & L put my rear tires on backwards. Maybe they don't know Toyota's? I would never have known had I not happened to need the sensors. Obviously won't be going back here.

My truck would drip gas after parking for a few seconds, I prayed it was fuel filter. Took it to G&K last month(may 12), it was fuel pump. After paying $800 I filled tank as I have for last 15yrs, truck then leak continuously. Had whole house smelling of gas. A very serious fire hazard. Took truck back & parked it, it was continuously leaking, drove past G&K next day & truck was moved over 1spot. Next day I was called to get truck & told they saw no leak and suggested I not over fill tank. Wth!! Told Eric that's like charging me to change oil filter & telling me in future only fill 7quarts instead of usual 8quarts. As I am retired and blessed to fill up only once a month or longer, today June 10 2025 1 month later, I filled up(stopped b4 nozzleshut off)& gas is now leaking continuously again. Didn't park in garage but open window & half block smells of gasoline smdh!! It's after hours but I immediately left Eric a message. I regret as I usually always do I did not request old part(fuel filter) but I will return to G&K tomorrow and hopefully post a much better & satisfactory resolve.

Highly recommend. They had my car in, diagnosed and ready to go within 24hrs. That may not be the same in every situation for every problem but they truly do try their best! They communicate very effectively and have great pricing. I even showed up 5 minutes before close (which i HATE doing however I got stuck in the road on the way after work) and they still checked me out and I got my car! Amazingly nice staff and very friendly! This is also the second car I've brought there and 4 issues I've brought. Every time it has been great and they have been honest!

I’m moving to California. I needed someone I could trust to look over my car. I asked around and heard about these guys. A competitor told me I had an oil leak so I told g&k. Was expecting to spend $300-700. He told me the car looked good and the car looks like it should make it. There was not oil leak and I left paying for the inspection which is totally worth the money. Thank you
