Thanks to Mr John for getting my boat and trailer to the house for me late this evening. After being stranded on the side of the road for several hours under the impression a local towing company was on the way, I realized I had been neglected and was put in contact with Garrett's Automotive. Mr John came from 50+ miles away to my aid while the primary towing company (pit crew towing 10 miles away) wouldn't bother to call and tell me they weren't coming. It was a difficult tow from my view ,as my axle on the boat trailer had broken, but Mr John made it look easy. Thanks again

For your own safety do not call this company. My daughter called them yesterday at 4 pm to ask if they could tow her car from the beach to lynn haven. The man said it would be $55. He came at 9pm and once she gave him the address to our family mechanic he said he would not tow it. He told her it would be broken into at that address but he could tow it to their shop. He wrote out an estimate and asked for $35. I am sad to say she paid him, for eaht, we still do not know. I called this morning to speak with a manager and within 30 seconds the manager was yelling at me to come talk to his face. His name is Frank and Frank should never be allowed to meet a distressed person, especially a lady, out at night. My husband called also and Frank hung up on him. I have never dealt with such a horrible person representing a business and allowed to meet women in the dark with such a temper. For your own safety please do not use this company.

I blame PC police for my tow, they had random parade on a Tuesday evening, said signs were posted, but I checked on 2 separate occasions to be sure, because I am not local and had a tattoo session scheduled most of the day and did not see any signs. The guy at Garrett's was rude, I called around 8 at night and was told I couldn't pick it up until 8 the next morning. They charged for 2 days of storage but the vehicle was there for just over 12 hours. I don't understand how businesses are able to swindle honest people.

I broke down 5 miles out of PCB and they were the only service on a Saturday evening that would come pick us up off the side of the road. Got a new alternator on my car and had it back to me by Tuesday. Very good service and extremely reasonable price. I was worried about being charged more for not being a local but these guys are stand up and honest.

I called Garrett's to have a vehicle towed from Ft Walton Beach to Panama City Beach. I negotiated a flat rate of 225 dollars to tow my van 50 miles. I spoke with Tracy in the office and scheduled the tow for the next day. She was very nice and helpful on the phone. The next day Logan towed my vehicle and dropped it off at my house. There was a little miscommunication between Tracy and Logan about my drop off address. But they handled it and in the end I was a happy customer. I would use them again. Thanks Garrett's!

I just want to say thank you for bringing our truck home this morning. I wish my insurance company had reached out to you in the first place when I called for assistance at 3:30 yesterday afternoon. I waited 14 hours to get my truck towed home and your tow guy was great to go get it when they finally called you at 3am this morning. Thank you so much.

Garrett has The Best Friendliest Wrecker Service, my son car was acting up, called them they came right on, I really Appreciated the part where they asked if we were in a safe location off the road, that meant a lot to me. Safety is Always Primary. Keep up The Good Work.Mr. Logan is The Best, As well as the other Drivers. If could leave 10 stars I would.🤍💫✨💫🤍💫✨💫🤍. For the Landlord and Secretary both are Great People, Everytime I call the office with an issue or anything Mrs. Tracy writes it down and Mr. Theodore will get the issue resolved, Please Don’t Believe the Negative Gossip about Landlords, Everything isn’t True you hear, Mr. Garrett is A Good Landlord if you go talk to him face to face or even call him , with Any issues he will resolve them, I Promise. Huge shout-out to Garrett's Automotive Services Center today! While leaving to go to shipwreck with the kids, I backed out of the driveway, put my car in drive, and it wouldn't move. I put it in park, and from there, my gear shift would NOT MOVE! Like...at all. My car was literally stuck in the middle of the street, basically blocking anyone from being able to get around. Naturally, I panicked. I sent the kids into the house, and called them. They sent someone over right away...I didn't get his name, but he was awesome! This man showed up within about 10 minutes, took a look, and immediately knew what to do. He got my car safely back into the driveway, and told me that my shifter cable was broken/detached. This company was an absolute life-saver today!! 👏👏👏 If you ever need a great, friendly, and knowledgeable, tow company, I highly recommend them!

I understand all interactions are different but I really can’t complain much at all on mine. The gentleman on the phone was kind and concise. And I believe Christopher B. was the one who dropped my car off. He was very personable and gave me some different general info on my car and ways to possibly fix it that I wasn’t aware of before. Also I was told my car would get to me around 1am and they did just that. Can’t comment on anything financial as my tow was through insurance but overall I believe my experience to be a very good one

Horrible! Went to pick up jeep, and it wouldn’t go into drive. Husband went inside to let someone know, mechanic came out cussing and got into face. Threatening and cussing my husband because of something they did. Then the air conditioning wasn’t working, told them and got cussed out for that also. Mechanic seemed to be high on something. We finally just left. We paid almost $4 grand and this is how we were treated. Owner wouldn’t answer his phone, but eventually texted us. All he said was I’m sorry for the way he acted…

UPDATE: These ppl are thieves. There response to me below was to get another PO from my insurance company. They dropped it and reloaded it within mins to collect a different amount of money as a tow away. They fail to acknowledge that even charging a different rate to my insurance (shady) they received a PO paid in full from my insurance prior to them closing the same day for the second trip to there shop. Yet, still failed to release the vehicle when found out another tow company with a third PO was in route to take the vehicle to Pensacola. They also lied to the PC police about the timeline of events. I also want to note, I called and confirmed with Garrett's driver that the vehicle was at the The original drop point of a gas station when the third party tow company was at Star Ave and 231. If they wouldn't of lied and said yes. The third party company would have went straight to Garrett's shop to retrieve the vehicle around 4:00 p.m. instead, the third party tow drove about 20 plus min north to a gas station at 231 and 20. Bottom line is, the team I had the pleasure of dealing with Garrett's are dishonest and are giving the rest of the team and Garrett's a bad name. Roadsides dispatch Garrett's to pick up a SUV on hwy 20 and take it to a Gas station 2 miles or less down the road. When they arrived to drop off the vehicle. The GAS station manager said the vehicle couldn't be left there at all, not even an hr. So, intead of cont. To there shop or working with me on a new locations. They dropped the vehicle on the side of the building and had another one of there tow trucks show up and pick it up as an "unauthorized" parking space. This added different charges. When I inquired with the first driver. He stated that he left it there at the gas station and found out another tow truck picked it up from the same company. Which started a new tow and a different amount. The roadside service and myself spilt the difference of the tow. I spoke to Garrett's about releasing the vehicle which was paid in full prior to them closing at 5:00. After receiving there money and finding out another tow company was coming for the vehicle to transport it to Pensacola for service work. Garrett's offered to transport it to Pensacola same day. When roadside assistance and myself declined there offer. That's when Garrett's refused to release the vehicle. Garrett's received payment on two different towes and tried to money GRAB a third. Very unprofessional company. From there overall 3 star review already shows there client relations is subpart...

Update again.. 6/25/25 Called for an oil change... had to wait for a call back since the lady who answers the phone can't make appointments nor can she give a quote...I received a voice mail from the owner Mike that I would be better to go to grease pro or a place like that because they don't do just oil changes.. he only does major mechanical work. If this was true why did he advise me of the cost when they fixed my vehicle just a couple of months ago? Guess they are to busy to assist their customers... I changed my rating from a 5 star to a 1 star since I will now need to find another mechanic. Not sure what the problem is there... Original review Can't ask for anyone more professional. Everyone there was kind and helpful. Got my truck fixed the same day and price was EXCELLENT! Thank you all for the GREAT service!!! Updated! I picked up my vehicle and the check engine light came on and went back to the shop and was told that it was on when I got there by the mechanic "joe" (I think that was his name) the owner was not there he was golfing... the owner called me back later in the day and I spoke to the owner Mike who told me some not so nice stuff about his mechanic.. but anyways I felt the owner was sincere with his apology. I asked at this time how much an oil change would be and Mike advised me a litter over $100... I said I would call when it was time to change my oil.. He said ok... I thought I found a great place to take care of my vehicle needs...

I spoke to Logan through the entire process and as a small business owner myself I am very impressed. He was informative through the entire process of towing my vehicle to a mechanic shop. I’m very pleased with his knowledge of the area and his professionalism. I hope I never need my vehicle towed again but if so, I would certainly use this tow service in the future. I've used this shop twice, they are trustworthy and easy to communicate with. I had a fuel pump replaced once, and I had them replace my AC compressor and recharge my refrigerant. The work was fast and the price is fair.
