Dealer quoted $650 to replace a caliper and assembly on my Toyota Sequoia after I took it in because it was making some really loud scraping noises. I was told the caliper was bad and it needed to be replaced. Gene's guys took a look and it turned out the spring holding the pad in place came loose (dealer had installed it 5 months prior) and that was causing the noise. I paid $45 ($10 for the spring and $35 for labor) and its been fine ever since. Sold the car (now 2 years later) and it reminded me that I never wrote a review. These guys are great in every way, take your car here and feel comfortable your money is being spent wisely.

To ALL the people that gave 1 stars, I call BS, take your Entitled Bad Attitudes somewhere else! Everyone has a Bad Day yes, but Do Not take your Anger out on the persons who is going to help you! Also have some Patients! The I am a Paying Customer, you will help me now is also unacceptable! Gene is an Old School Mechanic and is the way All Mechanics should be. He has been Honest with me from day 1! I will always use his Shop! Thank You Sir for being Amazing!

I have gone to Gene's for years. I was referred by a friend. My previous mechanic said I needed a new engine on a car I received from my parents. I wanted a second opinion so I went to Gene's he said "no you don't need a new engine" I haven't looked back. I have referred many friends, everybody likes Gene. He is honest, really knows his business and won't ever try to get you to have work done you don't need. He is an "Auto Hero" to me. You can't go wrong with Gene's Auto Repair.

I have been going to Gene's for over 30 years. My father was an honest mechanic. He reminds me of my father a lot. Every time I go to his shop, I chat with other customers who have been going to him for years also. You cannot have that longevity of customers without an EXCELLENT reputation. He also explains a lot about the car's malfunction that he is repairing & I have learned a lot about cars from him. I would not recommend any other mechanic as reliable, efficient and honest as Gene.

Honesty is their best quality. Been servicing our cars here for over 6 years now and I can always count on their best suggestions for trouble shooting problems. One day I brought in a Mazda 5 with a serious oil leak. They rigged a hydro test to locate the leak. It ended up being an oil cooler issue. Previous owner said he would fix it and took it to his mechanic. Gene's Auto didn't charge for the trouble shooting test they performed. Great guys, amazing integrity. I highly recommend them because I feel most auto repair shops are scammers. I’ve had many issues with other locations especially Midas. Genes has stood the test of time. Only downside is they’re closed on the weekends.
