I was referred to Gerber by my insurance company and was beyond satisfied with the service. Not only did they take my car in right away without an appointment (I wasn't sure it was safe to drive), but they completed the work much sooner than anticipated. And, the repair job was impeccable. My car looks brand new! I obviously wasn't planning on an accident and didn't have time to take it home and clean it out so the seats were a mess when I removed my kid's car seats. So embarrassing! When I picked it up today they had cleaned the inside of my car too! My husband and I were beyond impressed. Richard was absolutely amazing to work with and kept me updated throughout the entire process via phone and email. He went through the car with me and made sure I was aware of everything they needed to do. I would definitely recommend Richard and Gerber Collision to any family or friend looking for someone to repair their vehicle. This is the second time I have been to a Gerber Collision. This time I went to the Sterling Heights location, with my Ford truck. Best collision I’ve ever been to. Eric is who i dealt with, I give him 10 stars for going above and beyond. He was friendly, great at communicating, answered all questions/emails very promptly, gave me a time line and was on time. Gerber warranties there work for lifetime. They made receiving my enterprise rental a breeze, they also give the curtesy of driving the rental back for you. The work on the car was absolutely perfect I would highly recommend Gerber to everyone! Hope I’m not in another accident again but if I am I am coming back here.

We had very bad experience from this collision shop. We took our Honda Odyssey recently for collision repair, they messed up the electrical components that put our minivan on sleeping mode ( per Jim Riehl Honda service dept.) and cost us $500 plus for repair. They are claiming its battery related and also not sufficient evidence/claim that they messed our minivan.The battery was ok before they started the repair, in fact we went 2 Honda dealerships to run batter test and it was ok. The reason why dealership changed the battery because it died out due to multiple tests they do trying to figure out why the van goes to sleeping mode in the morning. My wife didn’t have a ride for almost a week because the van stayed at Honda service dept trying to diagnose what went wrong. Also Nicole the manager who isnt really nice to deal with. Very horrible experience, lots of hussle and cost us repair that was not our fault.

My car looks great after the repairs, everyone was so nice and they even cleaned my car before bringing it back. The only issue is it felt like they didn't have the best communication with our insurance. We asked to be told certain things before repairs began and that never happened. Thankfully our insurance covered it. Thankfully the employees are really kind.

Honestly shocked by the quality of service I received. Usually dealing with car repairs can be a headache and put me in tears. Lol. Not so much this time. They had my car for 4 days, which sucked, but I received timely updates. They detailed my car after they fixed it and even fixed a piece of my car that kept falling off (rubber door trim piece). They didn't have to do that nor did I expect it so it was definitely above and beyond. Even as we were paying we overheard another women in the shop saying basically the same thing. Top notch. Truly.

I've had to use Gerber twice because some person hit me. Both times they were thorough and knowledgeable. Their staff is professional and communicate very well. Because my car is older it took longer the first time to get the replacement parts but the job was excellent the paint is perfect the pinstriping was replaced perfectly I couldn't be more happy.

Sent in my BMW X3 for body work after a driveway mishap. Great customer service and professionalism. Staff was very kind and friendly. Even after the work was done, I experienced an issue with my door lighting after the work and took it back in. They checked it out no questions asked and found the issue. They even took me back home so I didn't have to wait and then even delivered my car to me instead of me coming back to get it. All around great experience.

We had insurance repair done at Gerber. The work was excellent. The people at Gerber are all great. When the car was done I had a problem with my insurance company in that they said I had a $1,000 deductible when in fact I had no deductible as the damage happened in a parking lot while car was parked and they should have had a waived deductible. The insurance company said they were sorry for the mistake and would mail me a check. Jessie Hawley at Gerber told to go call the. insurance adjuster immediately and have them go into the estimator system and waive the deductible then call him to verify. Other wise I may have had to wait ten days for the check to arrive before I could get my car. I called the insurance adjuster and did exactly as Jessie said. About 25 minutes later Jessie called and said that the insurance adjuster did as instructed and you are all set to get your car. When I got the car it was cleaned and washed. Jessie also walked around the car showing me all the work they did. If not for Jessie my car would still be at Gerber while I waited for a check to arrive in the mail.

Landscaper shot a rock out of his mower and into my driver's door. My insurance company sent me to Gerber to get it repaired. Dropped the truck off on Wednesday, June 25th. I was told it would be ready "early next week." No problem at all. Called me on Tuesday, July 1st, to tell me the repair was finished, but they'd damaged the bed of the truck while washing it. I've heard a few different lies about exactly how it was damaged, but I saw the pictures, and it was worse than the original damage. Told me that because of the upcoming holiday, it would take a little longer to repair the damage they did. I can't tow my camper without my truck, so I had to cancel my non-refundable vacation reservation that I made nearly a year ago. Called me on Monday, July 7th, to tell me my truck was finished and ready for me to pick up. Took my rental car back to Enterprise and got a ride to Gerber. They wouldn't let me see my truck until I finished all of the paperwork. I understood why as soon as I saw it. The repair on the bed wasn't great, but it was ok. The door was totally unacceptable. The paint they used on it was the wrong color. They only painted a small section of it and made absolutely no effort at all to blend it with the existing paint. I was told the manager had to leave early that day, but I could bring it back if I wasn't satisfied. I said I would definitely be bringing it back because I definitely wasn't satisfied. I got in to leave and discovered my power mirrors no longer work. They worked just fine before I dropped it off. I went back inside, handed the keys back in, and refused to take the truck until it was fixed correctly. Called me again on Friday, July 11th to tell me the truck was ready again. The manager who had to leave early a few days ago was there to meet me. She said she just got back from vacation and had been out of town when my truck was "repaired". Another lie. I door accept the truck that time, but I'm still not thrilled with the work they did. They'd cleaned the truck before the failed pick up, but there were random pieces of balled up green masking tape all over the floor. There's overspray on the rubber window trim, the side mirror, and the window glass. There's a big paint chip on the A-pillar that wasn't there before, and multiple new scratches all over the entire truck, and while the door repair is better than their first pathetic attempt, it's still not great. I've never on my entire life seen this much incompetence from a "Professional" establishment. Don't even think about taking your vehicle to these clowns if you care about it at all. Update: The problems from their incompetence are continuing to arise. Since my original review I've found they didn't reinstall my tonneau cover correctly. It was coming loose on the interstate, but I saw it in time to fix it. There was no reason at all for anybody to touch my trailer brake controller and it's in a place that couldn't be bumped accidentally, but it was turned all the way up. Fortunately I noticed it before using it. They also didn't align everything g correctly when reassembling my door, so that window is now starting to scratch just from rolling it up and down. I seriously can't believe how stupid and useless that entire staff is.

I was extremely pleased with the staff and integrity shown on my visit today for an estimate. Eric and Hal were especially helpful , my collision angels . I had bumped a steep driveway which loosened my bumper, Eric and Hal came to the rescue they made a stressful anxiety filled potential financial burden a breeze. I had received an estimate from a competitor yesterday and was quoted 436.96 just for a loose bumper to be replaced. I was extremely glad that I chose to go to Gerber Collision because these guys really looked out for me instead of charging me all of this money to replace a bumper they recognized all I really needed for it to be popped back in place and secured. I left out willing to pay but because of their integrity and their willingness to help they wouldn't allow it. During such a trying time that we are all facing right now they are definitely not out to take advantage of people who need help and to be serviced honestly. I would recommend, if you're in need of collision repair you consider patronizing the people over at Gerber.
