Brought my car in for an estimate to have some scratches and dings removed along the doors and trunk. I had a good conversation about my options with the tech and was given an estimate almost immediately. The estimate was high and it mostly centered around dismantling the doors and prep works. I accepted the estimate and few days later dropped the car off. Two weeks later, it was ready. My initial impression was that they did a great job. However, that quickly changed as one by one my doors stopped working. First, the passenger front and then the rear. It was very frustrating. I took my car to the dealership and described the situation. They looked at the doors and discovered that when the doors were reassembled (by Dusty’s) they did not put them together properly causing them to stop working. Repairs to each door to replace the missing parts was expensive. Thanks Dusty’s!

I have had a good experience with Dusty's. The appraisal was quick and informative. Duty's worked with me to schedule the repair days (all 5 of them). They arranged for a rental car at a reasonable rate (m insurance did not have a rental car provision). The work was completed on time and so far it appears to have been done in a highly professional manner. Only time will tell if the tailgate on the Equinox lasts longer than does the rest of the car. I want to make a further compliment with regard to the front office staff. Lisa was always helpful, a pleasure to speak to on the phone, ready with update information, and always willing to search out any questions that I had.

Awesome customer service from start to finish! The ladies at the front desk are awesome! I worked with Gary, he did an outstanding job on my repair! My car shines like it’s brand new and they even vacuumed and wiped down the inside! A great surprise! I have received so many compliments on the shine! As an added bonus, my car was ready a full day ahead of schedule! They made the entire experience a pleasant one! Thank you! I will (and have already) recommend this place to everyone!!!!

Just picked up my car from Dusty's and I'm so happy! I was rear-ended a couple of weeks ago and my insurance company works with Dusty's so that's where my car went. From the second my car arrived at the shop everyone was so helpful. They kept me updated consistently with repairs, changes, and my pick up date. In addition they offered friendly advice on insurance claims and were very patient with all of my questions and concerns! I've never experienced any kind of car accident, and couldn't be happier with the repair work done and the ease of everything. In addition, they called me back with answers to my questions even though they were about to close; and they stayed late today because I arrived late after turning in my rental car! It's nice to work with such kind people who understand how scary and complicated car issues can be. My car is shiny and clean (inside as well which is amazing!) and it looks just like it did when I first purchased it. Thanks for being so amazing, and a special thanks to Corey for everything!

Just picked up my car from Gerber on South Industrial and it looks fantastic! There was a delay in getting the car fixed but it wasn't Gerber's fault; the parts were damaged in transit but I was out of town so it didn't matter. They even detailed the interior which I was not expecting. Walker did a great job handling everything. I highly recommend them if you need bodywork done.

Keep pushing back the pick up day. Taking forever to get the car done. Customer service was so bad. Don’t even pick up the phone

We had a horrible experience at this shop. Walker told us it will take 10-12 days for our repairs. We waited 4 weeks before we could drop off the car, then they delayed our repairs and we got our car back after 5 weeks. On pick up we realized our windshield chip wasn’t repaired. Walker blamed that to another company employee and we are now waiting for that to be done. If you can find someone else to fix your job, avoid this place. I will never bring my business here again.

This review is a LONG time coming. How long? 107 days. I know what you are thinking. "107 days and you gave them a 5 star rating? Are you serious?" Absolutely. The team at Gerber did a fantastic job. Kept me well informed of the status of my repair and the parts needed (that VW could not provide in a timely fashion). Once all the parts were in and it was painted, there was a small error in the paint. They quickly fixed the issue and provided support. I cant say enough about their service. Thank you Jason for all of your hard work and enduring my almost weekly phone calls.

I've recently took my vehicle to this shop and I can say enough about the experience. The staff was amazing, I worked with Sam and she was easy to work with and knowledgable. Jerry the front desk person is very pleasant and helpful they truly have done a good job hiring folks who are customer centric. I would most certainly bring my vehicle here if I had to again. They are one of the few body shops that works on Teslas and they do outstanding work and the turn around beat expectations which is rare these days.

I had forgotten how bad Gerber had become until I showed up for my appointment this morning (after receiving multiple reminders from them). I was told there was no appointment and that their system doesn’t work and that, even though all of their estimators were in a meeting, they could not take me anytime soon. It was basically my problem that I showed up on time for a confirmed appointment. It reminded me of their shenanigans during our last automotive repair, which took months to complete. Think twice before using these guys!

I had an outstanding experience at Garner Collision, especially thanks to Cassandra and Mike Stewart. Cassandra was incredibly professional, sweet, and went above and beyond to make sure I felt taken care of throughout the entire process. Mike was thorough with the repairs on my Tesla, explaining every detail and ensuring everything was done to perfection. They even took the time to arrange my rental car, making the whole experience smooth and stress-free. When I came to pick up my Tesla, they had everything ready, and it was in perfect condition. I highly recommend Garner Collision—an amazing shop with amazing people like Cassandra who truly make a difference!

After experiencing collision damage along the left side of my Model 3 I landed on Gerber to complete the repair. The Model 3 has aluminum door panels which makes traditional dent removal very difficult. During my estimate they walked through the repair process (replace door panels, transfer internals, paint match, etc.) and answered all of my questions. Gerber worked with insurance and arranged a rental through Enterprise. After the repair was completed I was able to leave the rental there and drive away in my repaired vehicle. Overall a very painless process. After the repair was completed they detailed the car a bit and then provided care instructions along with having someone walk around the vehicle with me to talk about what was done, how to care for it, etc. My repair timeline: 10/9/22 - Accident 10/10/22 - Estimate Scheduled 11/11/22 - Estimate (~20-30 min visit) 01/28/23 - Drop off for repair 02/6/23 - Repair complete tldr at time of writing: $500 refundable deposit for tesla parts, tesla certified body shop (have software and tooling to complete repairs), longer wait compared to other centers but positive experience nonetheless.

Clear transparent communication, got my car fixed quickly and returned to me cleaner than I got it! Took a few days to get the car repair estimate going, but I'll blame that on insurance.

Unreal. I've lived in southeast Michigan all my life. Ive NEVER experienced such good service from a car/auto shop. Combined with Geico and it worked so smoothly after the accident.

They repaired a cosmetic dent on the side of my truck bed. The nearest repair assessment was 3 weeks out. Then it took 3-4 weeks to find parts. During the repair, they said that they found a part that was torn and on back-order, and there was no way to see it in the initial assessment (internal to bed, invisible from exterior). This turned my 2-week repair into 5 weeks (they never got the part in those 5 weeks, they welded the tear instead). When I picked it up I noticed I could see the welded tear in my wheel well standing 4 feet away from my truck (see pictures). They had lied that it was impossible to see until after pulling apart my truck. Instead, they had overlooked it. It took another 1.5 weeks to get new bed stickers (needed one on each side, because while under their care a lawn mower shot a rock at one of them, damaging the sticker, but not the bed - why was it outside? How is only sticker damage possible?). I’m very disappointed with my experience here, and I only used this place because the previous experience a few years back was good. I’m just lucky I insisted they try to repair the torn part, because otherwise my truck would still be inoperable sitting outside at Gerber awaiting a part on indefinite back-order and more lawn mower rocks, and they’d still be telling me, “there’s no way we could’ve known that part was broken.”

KUDOS to the folks at Gerber Collision & Glass on Washtenaw Ave in Ann Arbor, MI. So professional and NICE! Always answered every question and made sure I knew exactly what was going on. Even with one minor glitch, they never offered rambling excuses, but rather they owned it and got the job done. Can't ask for more than that! Truly a great experience and I would go back if ever needed again. They are wonderful!!

Can’t wait to share my experience once I get my vehicle back. In short, an 18 day accident repair is now going on 6 weeks, the first repair was not satisfactory and the body shop had to re-do the repair, which is taking as long as the actual accident repair, just to improve a beauty line. More details to come once they decide to quit making excuses for the “delays”. UPDATE The latest from this last repair job that was a total, drawn out disaster, they wrote on my white car with a grease pencil and when they clear coated the car they didn’t clean the surface or tape off areas that didn’t need clear coat so the overspray covered those areas and when the sun hits it just right you can read what was written on my fender and door. My driver side window and driver side of my windshield is also covered in over spray from the clear coat. Had they taped these areas off this would have never happened. And NO, no one has addressed my concerns. I filed a complaint with Porsche USA that was a dead end too. You guys may have gotten a slap on the wrist but now I have to fix your mess out of my pocket. Oh well I will never recommend any one come to your business and I have the proof to show what a poor business you are running there. How you earned a Porsche certification is beyond me.
