Do not come here to fix your car. Front desk clerks do not know what communication is at all. I repeatedly told them IN PERSON to change my number on file. Someone wrote it down and said they will call me instead of the other number. But they continued to call the other number 😐 I would call and ask and they claim they never called but the other person they WERE calling would report their conversations back to me. Just pointless lying. Also they are so confused all the time, they seem to have a hard time understanding what the client needs and they completely disregard any blame for the lack of communication. Seems like there needs to be a change in their front desk staff. Rage inducing.

I took my car in because of a parking lot door dent. It was big, but Randy Jackson and Co. treated me like royalty all the way through. In fact, we got our car back in less time than was planned. WE rented a car for the interim, and Gerber came through again, making it all so easy. Leticia, at the front desk, is a charming and exuberant gal who made me feel as if I was the only customer they had to deal with. I will definitely return to Gerber should I ever need their services, but like I told Randy on the way out: "Don't take it personla, but I hope I won't need to see you again in a long time." My vehicle got to their shop on July 15, 2024. I was told my vehicle would be ready August 9th. The repairs were finally “complete” August 27th. It took over a month for repairs that are still not completely right. As a result I had to start paying for a rental car out of pocket. After discussing with the “manager”, Randy, I was told I would get a refund of my $500 deductible. As of today, January 8, 2025, I have yet to receive the refund and Randy refuses to answer the phone or respond to voicemails. I will NEVER recommend Gerber to anyone nor will I ever use them for anything ever again. I would give them 0 stars if possible!! They are LIARS!!!

I cannot recommend Gerber Collision and their manager, Randy, highly enough! From the moment I walked in, Randy's professionalism and dedication were evident. He kept me informed every step of the way, ensuring I knew the status of my car throughout the repair process. What truly impressed me was Randy's willingness to go the extra mile. Not only did he provide top-notch service, but he also arranged transportation for me back to work, which was incredibly convenient. The end result exceeded my expectations. This place is absolute garbage, they don't update you on your vehicle. When you try to call them they don't answer and it sends you to their national call center then they don't answer. I called 15 times before someone answered just to be put on hold and then sent to voice mail. This body shop had my truck for a little over a month with no communication. Then they tell the insurance that they can't do the repairs because i have aftermarket headlights lol this place is a joke if i were the insurance company i would quit recommending them.

I had a terrible experience with this shop. I brought my car to this location after running over tree debris from the hurricane. My estimator, Lauren, told me that she could only write the estimate for what she could see and assured me that my car would be put on a lift to ensure there was no hidden/additional damage. At this time, I asked about a wheel alignment, to which she told me wouldn’t be covered unless I could prove, with specs, that the alignment was off on the side of impact… this should have been my sign to run, but given this shop is one of State Farm’s Select Service shops, I thought surely my car was in good hands. I dropped my car off on 2/4 for repairs. At this time, I walked my car with Lauren, as she marked my car to highlight the areas for repair and making note, on my hood, that I ran something over and that my car was to be further inspected. Two weeks later, I was notified that repairs were complete. Upon inspection, I noticed that the rocker molding was still damaged. When confronted, Lauren first told me that she forgot about it. This was very concerning because this told me that my car was never put om a lift and thoroughly inspected as promised. After voicing my frustration and confusion with this given my car had already been in their shop for 2 weeks for minimal quoted repairs, she changed her story to tell me that State Farm denied the additional damage saying there was no travel impact marks. She proceeded to tell me I was welcome to handle it with State Farm myself?! At some point the manager, Randy, became involved. He approached the situation with a smile and assured me he would handle the supplement himself and get back to me. I should have known there was no real intention there. I followed up the following Monday, almost a week later, and was told he had left for the day but that he would be given the message. Wednesday afternoon I still had heard nothing, so I called Randy again. This time he answered, saying State Farm denied the claim and that I could contact them, so I did. Gerber never told State Farm they hadn’t fully inspected my car when they sent in for a supplement, so no surprise they denied it. They have not taken accountability for their negligence and have left me doing the footwork. I just left from meeting with a State Farm adjuster in the Gerber parking lot, yes, I’m that petty at this point. He noted some additional damage to the subframe, paid for a 4 wheel alignment and the rocker molding, so far. I will take my car to a more competent shop for these and future repairs. The only person in this shop that did their job well, was the painter. The receptionist, estimator, body man, detailer, and manager all can learn a thing or two about professionalism, honesty and accountability.

Long story short, I hit a pot hole on a state rd and they wouldn’t fix the damages because it had never been reported which should be illegal!!! I didn’t won’t to report it on my insurance therefore I got two estimates. One from Gerber and another from the manufacturer. I walked into Gerber and was treated like a queen. The receptionist, Randy and the estimator were on point. I left my car a week later. Randy and the crew went out of there to keep me informed. I picked up my car today and it looks like it came off the showroom floor. I want to thank Gerber for a magnificent job!

I’ve used Gerber Collision at another location and had the absolute best experience when it came to my vehicle and the process of repair. However my experience with the Simpsonville location was an absolute disaster. I will not return as customer.

Had a little fender bender. The repair went through insurance and this was their prepared collision center. I was a little leery about using a preferred center through insurance as opposed to using who I might choose, but I must say I was pleased. Very friendly service they kept me informed on the progress and it was done in a timely manner Thank you Austin & Lauren.. I would definitely recommend them.
