Good prices, but you get what you pay for. Just found out they replaced my water pump with a refurbished one that gave out after two years. They also tore holes in the flex pipe of the exhaust on another vehicle when it was taken to them for preventative maintenance and denied doing it. Take your car somewhere else to start and save yourself some money.

Left my car for to be checked for 2 days I had to go in to the office to ask them to please check my car. When they did (if they did) they called back and said the engine blew out. Took it somewhere else and turns out my engine was fine. I don’t recommend this place at all.

Paid this shop to do two things: Inspect the suspension, Change the transmission fluid. They told me all four struts needed replacing at a cost of almost $1400. This was weird because the vehicle is 6 years old and I've noticed no problems. I took it to another mechanic to take a look and they told me nothing needs replacing. They replaced the transmission fluid. I check the level when I got home and they over filled it (which can damage the transmission) I took it back and asked them to fix the level and they said they did but it's still over-full. I also asked what prompted the suspension needing replacement and the mechanic told me it was based on the ride seeming too firm. I paid them to actually inspect the suspension not take it for a ride and make a guess. Beware overcharge and shoddy work.

I came here after being told at a routine oil change/tire rotation at the dealer that I needed $1,000 worth of work done on my car. I was skeptical and did not get any of the work done. Hipps was recommended by a neighbor and I'm so glad that I came. Not only did they look at all my concerns and issues for no charge, but they let me know what I actually needed done; they also respected the fact that I change my own air filters to save labor cost. They were honest about the other things that were recommended from the dealer in that they did not actually need done. I was very thankful they were honest. And, from start to the finish of the brake work that I did need, I was not there longer than 90 minutes. I'm very thankful they were recommended and I will be back again for future maintenance!

They will not give you the alignment report if you get an alignment done. Because they report that their printer is down. This is the last place I would take my vehicle for any work ever again. I believe one time they used used parts on my vehicle or third party parts The attached picture is what it looks like after getting an alignment. This is why they claim they're printer is broken. So they can do terrible work but charge you for it

Excellent experience! Scott the owner is professional and honest. He even tried to help me get my truck repaired under the factory warranty instead of just doing the repair and taking the money. Isn't that the kind of auto repair shop you want?! I'm new to the area and my neighbor who owns classic cars recommended Hipps to me. Brought my Ford Hybrid to the shop. Pretty sure they didn't look at it. Told me spark plugs were locked and they didn't want to Crack engine. Upon repair, it was clear they NEVER REMOVED THE COVER TO GET TO THE IGNITION COILS AND PLUGS. Why not just tell the truth, say you don't work on those. Actual problem coil replacement, any easy job for an average mechanic.
