We brought our company truck to Gibbon Tire and Auto LLC to get assistance on a leak. After several hours, we received a text message from Gibbon Tire stating they replaced a clamp on my steering wheel column and the leak was fixed. I could come get my truck and my total was $250.00. We returned to pick up the truck, and as I drove it home, I told my wife it did not feel any differently while driving. After noticing it leak from the same spot two days in a row, we returned the truck to Gibbon Tire, notifying them that my truck was still leaking in the same spot. This morning, we were told, "Oh, well we didn't replace anything. We only tightened the hose. There must have been two leaks in two different spots. But we can fix the other one for $498, and I won't charge you another diagnostic" when I replied with the fact that it was leaking in the same exact spot. Their response was, "If I knew the leak was in the same spot, why didn't I fix it myself? The best I can do is $410.00". We definitely feel this is the 2nd and last time we will receive such inconsiderate, unethical, and unprofessional services from Gibbon Tire and Auto LLC. We do feel they were very deceitful and dishonest. Being that we have records and recordings of these conversations, we do plan to follow up with the BBB and all other concerning legal parties concerning this matter.

Everything went well for the service of My Malibu , brakes & Rotors, tune up and New set of tires! Very next day I brought my Fleetwood Cadilac in for a service on transmission leak, only thing I didn’t agree with on that service, I was told one price over the phone, car was held one day, second day I called Gibbons for update on car, I was then told another price for the service we already knew was going to be needed! I spent $2552 on Malibu, so I was willing to pay the price qouted over the phone, I felt I was being price gouged ! So I didn’t get the car service. Seemed to be a good Auto repair shop,but I just felt like because the customer pays up front that shops try to take advantage of customer!🤔

I was in NC for work and being me decided to bring my car. It started acting up and I went to 3 different places looking to see who could fix my car. Then I went to AutoZone and one of their texts there recommended Gibbon tire and auto. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted and helped right away. I cannot say how much I am grateful for them for fixing the problem like they did their thing and they were very transparent with everything along the way.

I truly wish I could give this place 10-stars because they truly deserve it. Just a heads up--this post is a little lengthy but everything mentioned is 100% facts. Backstory: So picture this: I take my baby — my Jeep — to the ever so fabulous Jiffy “We-Will-Mess-Up-Your-Car-And-Not-Take-Responsibility” Lube. Truly, the worst decision I’ve made in my entire car owning career. Now, I’m just a girl and not a certified mechanic, but even I know a mechanic should never send you off with a cheerful little warning like, “If it starts overheating after your oil change and coolant ‘flush,’ just bring it back!” I mean… what? And of course, because the universe has a sense of humor, my Jeep immediately starts running hot. So, I take it back, like the manager told me to. And what do they hit me with? The classic, “There’s nothing we can do.” Oh, but don’t worry — the plot thickens. After leaving them for the second time, and suddenly my Jeep began SPEWING coolant onto the ground like it’s auditioning to be a decorative fountain. At this point, my poor baby is completely immobile, and I was one emotional twitch away from a full meltdown. Enter: Scott, Todd, and the superhero mechanics at Gibbon Tire & Auto. When I called them, I tried providing details without crying which ended up being an epic failure. I began crying the kind of tears usually reserved for funerals and season finales. Scott instantly became my unofficial therapist, talking me off the metaphorical ledge while I explained the chaos Jiffy “We-Will-Mess-Up-Your-Car-And-Not-Take-Responsibility” Lube had unleashed on my life. He suggested I use my insurance to get my car towed, if available, and promised they’d take a microscopic look and provide details of everything — and they absolutely delivered. They sent pictures, videos, explanations, and even educational clips so I understood what happened and what needed attention. Scott walked me through every detail with patience, kindness, and zero judgment for my previous emotional spiral. For as long as I’m in Charlotte, NC, this is the only place my car is going. They’ve earned a customer for life, because I refuse to risk being treated the way I was before finding them. And let me not forget — Todd even drove me home while on the way to grab lunch! Never have I ever had any auto location do this. Now I don’t know if this is something they do for everyone or because where I live may have been convenient, but I appreciated him looking out for me. These people are my AUTO HEROES! I’m forever grateful and will shout it from the rooftops.

2007 Dodge 2500 5.9 Cummins. Jacob and Michael performed an oil change and a transmission flush / fluid change. Truck drives completely different. So smooth. They sent over a report to go over recommended things to repair in the future which was cool. Scott kept good company in the lobby sharing funny stories. Highly recommend this place. Great service a little pricey, I went in for back brakes and new rotary’s on a 2019 Mitsubishi Outlander. Completed my inspection in less than an hour emailed everything that was going wrong, gave me an option if I wanted it fixed and the inspection was absolutely free.
