I was having some work done on my motorcycle at Cycle Doctor. When I went to pick it up the A/C on my truck quit working. I asked Aaron at Cycle Doctor,(who did a great job on my bike), if he knew someone who could look at it. He walked me over and introduced me to Gilbert. Gilbert looked at it,diagnosed the problem,and gave me an estimate. I took it in the next morning and he had it fixed by the early afternoon. He was courteous and friendly. The service was great, the A/C is cold, and he was very prompt. I will recommend him and will take my truck back to him when it needs any service.

Gilbert's Auto Repair, and Gilbert himself, are great! My AC went out and I was given 4 different quotes for the repairs and, not only did he have the best price, but I was able to drop it off immediately and it was repaired by the end of the day. A few weeks later I had a separate, unrelated issue with the AC blower motor and, again, he was able to get me in first thing in the morning, get it repaired and get be back on the road in a matter of hours. This is a family owned business and his son and daughter work with him. They are honest, hardworking and fair priced. I would highly recommend Gilbert for any of your repair and maintenance needs. The location is a bit hard to find because it's in a little auto garage "strip mall" (if you can call it that) type of building, but if you go to the very north end of these buildings, he is in the middle of the the northernmost strip. Again, family owned small business means more reasonable prices and one-on-one communication about your vehicle.

My son purchased a used vehicle (still a 2023 with approximately 2500 miles) on Sunday 04/23/23 and we took it to this shop for an inspection first thing Tuesday 04/25/2023 morning. During the three hours the car was there it was damaged. The front bumper and driver quarter panel were scraped and dented. Owner said damage was preexisting (impossible as it was not there when we left the house). His son, Gilbert Jr., was condescending and tried gaslighting us saying it was there and even suggested it was due to a young driver (my son is almost 22). Also, Jr. changed his story a couple times about initially seeing the car. He first claimed it was on the rack when he came in and then said it was first thing he noticed on going out to the car but when we dropped the car off it was pulled in forward. It was only visible when walking out after they backed it in. This shop was recommended by a neighbor so we will relay this information to the neighbor as a bad referral and will personally never return to this shop. Since no work was completed I can't speak to the quality of their mechanic work but if you care about the aesthetics of your vehicle STAY AWAY. The owners are not honest. I held off on this review pending an insurance claim but as of right now their insurance is denying the claim.

I am very pleased with Gilbert’s Auto Repair! Gilbert actually rescued me from the exit ramp during rush hour!! He pulled up behind and asked if I needed help and I said yes and he towed me to his shop right around the corner. He first asked if I had any particular place that I wanted to be towed to and explained that he owned a repair shop and he would take it there if I wanted. I thanked him and not only did he not charge me for the accidental tow he fixed my alternator and found some other issues that didn’t need to be fixed right away but would need to watched. Very affordable and friendly staff as well as quick service!

This is the first time I went to Gilbert auto repair. I really liked the service. My AC was just blowing hot air so I took it to Gilbert they checked it out right away. Gave me two options a cheap way to by pass problem or fix it correctly which will take a few days to fix. He was reasonable price and actually came under the estimate. I will definitely be taking my truck back to Gilbert if I have any other problems with my truck.

This place is awesome. Gilbert is very informative and explains everything step by step. I was in and out with super cold AC in a few hours. Thank goodness the compressor is still working. Just needed the whole system recharged. In addition I went ahead and had the transmission fluid done. All work done at a good price. I will definitely use this auto repair location again if needed. I give it 5 stars!

Man! The guy knows what he’s doing and if he doesn’t know, he’ll figure it out? Was having issues with my 3500 Dually couldn’t quite figure why it wouldn’t start after I changed everything from the distributor to the coil to the crank sensor, spark plug wires I could never get it to start. And he figured it out real quick.. had a damn short between the fuse and the computer. The fuse was fine, but inside the fuse box was the problem.. anyway I’m rolling now! And also he doesn’t try to sell you stuff you don’t need… You tell him what you need and that’s exactly what he does.. but he will point out if you have any other issues with your vehicle👍🏽

Gilbert’s auto shop is doing a LS2 6.0 Pontiac engine swap on my 69 Firebird nonetheless it has been challenging but through it all they have work through it on the last stage just waiting on the wiring harness.

I can't say enough good things about Gilbert's Auto! My car wouldn't start even with a jump, so I called the shop for help. Although they don't typically do mobile repairs, Gilbert himself came by since l live close to the shop. He diagnosed my vehicle and quickly identified what was wrong. So thankful I didn’t spend a bunch of money getting it towed and having it diagnosed by a dealership. Gilbert is incredibly friendly and truly a car genius.
