Went to Gilbert's when car broke down close to there and couldn't get it to our usual garage. They were great!!! We came from out of state, and the serpentine belt ripped on the highway, making a bunch of different things go wrong. Got home safely thank god and called these guys up and they picked it up as soon as I called, and had it back by the end of the day. Very reasonable pricing with a breakdown of everything and the guys there know their stuff. Definitely recommend.

They have been my mechanics since I found them about 9- 10 years ago. They do outstanding custom exhaust and when they give me a price for anything they stick to it! Once you find a mechanic you trust...don't ever go anywhere else! Oh, they also have a machine shop in house. Had several heads decked and cleaned there when I have done head gasket on several vehicles.

Tom and Tim are excellent mechanics and fair in their business. They also will always tell you straight and try to bend over backwards to help you when you’re in a fix. I usually drop my car off and it’s always done when I get off from work. I trust them and recommend them even though they’re busy enough as it is (another good sign).

We moved to the area about 5 years ago. It's hard to find someone to work on your vehicles that you can actually trust. We chose this garage to give it a shot and they surpassed all of our expectations. They are upfront, honest, and you can trust your vehicle had top notch service. There were two occasions that really made me become a dedicated customer. First was this shop saved us money when we first came for a second opinion. They took my husband to the back and showed him the car on the lift and what would need to be fixed versus what the previous garage told us needed to be replaced. The second occasion was when I needed my tired replaced even though I was broke down 35 miles away. They kept the garage open a little later to help me. The guys in this shop are awesome and I would recommend them to anyone.

Traveling from out of state and broke down on the turn pike. Google Gilbert's and called them, spoke to Tim, and explained the problem. He said they had time to fix it the following day. Had it towed to the shop after hours and left the keys in the dropbox. Tim called the next day and told me the problem and a rough price. The price was reasonable (alternator, battery, and labor) but a little more than I wanted to pay. Being out of state and broken down, not many options. Tim was very polite and explained the issues. He also asked if I wanted my oil changed while I was there. I would recommend to someone local or if you are in a situation where you need a mechanic. It was easy to get to, large parking lot to drop off a vehicle.

Took my truck here for warranty work and maintenance work. I now have a constant noise I didn’t have before, after they replaced my axles. They supposedly heard nothing on the test drive. I took it somewhere else and they heard the noise as soon as they drove the truck a couple feet. The one guy I spoke to was pretty cool and I’m very satisfied with the rest of the work they did. 👍🏼

New tires put on at Gilberts… 12 hours later completely deflated. Valve stem not installed correctly and all the air leaked out. After getting the tire fixed elsewhere, the lovely folks at Gilberts let me know the tire they put on never deflated in the first place, I was just imagining things. Take a look at their work for yourself
