I called this company 6 months ago to get a quote on mirrors along one of the walls in my home gym area. It took 3 months to get someone to come out and give an estimate, to which I was told he would “get back with me”. 3 months later I had to call and inquire what was going on. It has been a week since then and I STILL have not received a call back. I cannot even comment on the quality of the work as this company seems hellbent on not even wanting to start a project. Don’t want to do it? No problem - at least communicate that with the customer. At this point I would not recommend the services at all due to basic lack of communication.

First of all, thank you for changing my broken glass. However, there was a few things I think you guys can do better. First of all, y’all told me that the glass can be installed within three weeks after I paid. It took almost 2 months to be installed. There are companies cheaper than you guys. The main reason I chose you guys was because of the schedule, but it ended up taking more than other companies. Second, The installation people are not careful enough about cleaning up. I spent two hours the same day trying to clean up the small pieces of glasses scattering around the broken window, on my desk, on the VCT flooring and the rug. After two weeks, I still found some small pieces from the rug close to the broken window. The rug was at least 3 feet away from the window when they replaced the glass but it still got a lot of scattering pieces. They bought a vacuum with them, but they really didn’t vacuum around where they supposed to. The broken glass it’s at a room that we have VCT flooring. Imagine if you have a broken glass in a bedroom that’s all carpet, I kind of doubt if they will clean up everything properly. My baby almost stepped on those broken glass pieces, which would horrible. Third, I called to complain about the schedule and I said I want to talk to their owner, I was told that the owner will reach out, but never did. Last thing is I kind of doubt if they put enough sealant around the new glass. I called them back and ask and the guy told me they had clear sealant. Yes I understand it’s clear sealant I do construction all day long I definitely know that. My concern is the sealant is not enough. From my understanding And I think it’s a common sense, that the sealant should fill the gap properly, not leaving such a big gap. With such a big gap, water can stay in the gap and potentially penetrate the glass.

Edit 8/20 - unfortunately the part fell off within a week of 5/24. I will probably take it to Kia here soon. We just had a newborn so it wasn’t top priority. I’ll keep the five stars because they really tried. Edit 5/24 - I recommend glass doctor 10/10. They fixed our windshield and corrected the part that kept hanging off. Edit: 5/7 - To note the company has been extremely responsive in finding a resolution. I’m not happy. My husband took to get my windshield repaired. After the repair the sensor dashboard was hanging off. We took it back to get it back on and about 30-40 minutes they gave it back to us. Again it fell off. Not only that, you can see that they obviously tried to glue it. Which in my opinion is unacceptable. I got the tar like glue on my hands and I’m pregnant. I had to vigorously rub to get it off and there’s still stained. See pictures for reference.

NO STRESS….JUST SMILES!!! This is my first time doing business with “GlassDoctor”. I had talked to the receptionist the previous day of my new appointment because I had to cancel my original appointment. The previous day the receptionist was very understanding, respectful and accommodating about my situation. My in-person visit was met with a smile and a warm welcome. My interaction throughout my visit was attentive, knowledgeable and respectful. My repair took no time. Their work GREAT! Update: Mr. Neal with GlassDoctor went above and beyond to resolve the issue and prevent future occurrences. He had the part overnighted to his shop and replaced everything when it arrived correctly and with haste. He educated while working on my vehicle giving the sense that he cares about his customers and wants to see them satisfied and prepared. Thank you for your hard work Neal in the resolving of this issue. Technician broke the plastic cowlings which was relayed to me on pick up and was instructed I had to replace them myself. When I went to replace the cowlings it was apparent that not only were the cowlings broke but they had also broke the retaining clip on the vehicle itself. I was never informed about this damage and now unable to install the replacement cowlings properly. I would like to be contacted immediately and recommend others to double check for any damages since they only report some of what they damage.

I highly recommend Glass Doctor. I would have given 5 stars; however, I had to wait several weeks for the installation. I understand why it took so long but it was a bit of a drag. Now, when the technicians came it was quick and when they returned it took almost no time to remove the old, damaged bay window and install the new one.
