Sam from Good year in Riverview Florida was awesome and honest. I brought my 2017 jeep to him because it wouldn’t start and he told me the issue for free. I was expecting to pay for their time as they had my car for a few hours but he did it as a friendly courtesy. You don’t meet too many mechanics like him. Thank you Sam

DO NOT GO TO GOODYEAR RIVERVIEW (Milagros “MiMi” & Manager “Sam”) I’m disgusted with the service at this location. I brought my car in on March 29, 2025, and clearly told Mimi that I had just had my A/C charged and it only stayed cool for 3-5 minutes. I told her I needed a compressor. She insisted on a $185 diagnostic, claiming it was required. Later, I was hit with an undisclosed $244 vacuum/recharge charge—a service I NEVER authorized or was told about beforehand. I was told this was “standard,” but I was never informed in advance. I paid at pickup but should not have paid that $244. To make matters worse, Sam, the manager, later admitted over the phone he didn’t even want to work on my car. He also LIED and said I had a leak, which is false—I’d just had the system checked for leaks elsewhere with three prior professional opinions that said the compressor was failing, not a leak. I gave Sam my email multiple times and STILL haven’t received the compressor quote. They have shown nothing but incompetence, dishonesty, and poor communication. I don’t trust them to work on my car. Y’all GUESSED that it was the relay and it was not… They relay was never mentioned in previous inspections only the compressor… I’m demanding a full refund of the $244. I’ll eat the $185 fee, but my issue remains unresolved, and I will be filing complaints with the BBB, Goodyear corporate, Florida Consumer Services, and all public review sites.

I had an excellent experience with Goodyear in the Riverview location! From the moment I arrived, the staff was friendly, professional, and eager to help. They quickly diagnosed the issue with my tire and provided a thorough explanation of the repair process. The service was incredibly efficient—I was back on the road in 2.5 hours which average with this type of service. They replaced my 4 tires at a very reasonable price. The waiting area was clean and comfortable, making the wait even more pleasant. If you’re looking for reliable and honest tire repair services, I highly recommend them. They truly go above and beyond to take care of their customers.

WOMEN BEWARE!!!!! THIS PLACE IS PREDATORY!!!!! My husband bought me brand new tires several months ago from here, so when my check engine light came on, I thought to bring it there immediately. That was a mistake, my bad, should have gone to the dealership or autozone or somewhere else, bc it’s $100 for them to run the machine and tell you to go to the dealership anyway. My bad, but when they called to give me info on what they found, I got the bare minimum. When my husband called back moments later, he gets a diagnostic code and all the information, and different treatment. Absolutely sick. SHAME ON YOU. editing to add: We've bought at least three sets of tires of here. I think I'm more frustrated that I thought I could trust this place, but apparently, I was wrong. Funny because someone else's 5 star post was a husband buying tires for his wife. Funny because until I had to speak with them myself, I would have thought they were great. WOMEN BEWARE!!!!!

I got my tires replaced here recently and a wheel alignment done. My experience was that the staff was extremely unorganized and overwhelmed to the point where the techs almost didn't inspect my vehicle before handing it back to me and almost forgot to do the alignment I paid for. The waiting area and retail area were filthy. And after all that, all of the valve stem caps on my tires were missing. I will not be back. Overall, it just showed that the staff doesn't care about the business or your vehicle. Don't go here.

This is definitely a drop off only location. I made an appointment for 11am and my car wasn’t even taken in the shop until after 1pm and I wasn’t done until almost 4:30pm. I wasted an entire day waiting here even though I made an appointment. I felt that was very disrespectful of my time. Had I known the place was so busy and understaffed, I would have made arrangements to drop off the car instead. This wasn’t even my choice to come here. This location was the only option I was given by Goodyear to fix their mistake when they shipped the wrong tires to my installer. I ordered the correct size tires but the wrong size was sent and I was told by customer service that I had to make an appointment here at their service center to have them replaced with the correct tires I ordered. I was very disappointed that even after calling and making this appointment, they didn’t honor the time and kept me here all day. They did eventually get the correct tires on my vehicle and did an alignment but it cost me a whole day and I had to drive a half hour to get here too. I did give them a couple stars though because the manager Gina is very nice and felt bad about the wait. They did get the correct tires on my vehicle and even caught one of their replacement tires that had a defect and switched it for a good one. They seem to do good work here but they’re just too busy to honor appointments. They only have 3 technicians and the girl told me only 1 of them does “the harder stuff.” If you go here, make plans for a drop off. Honestly, my review would have been a 5 star if they had been more respectful of my time. This is our only car, which I told them when I scheduled my appointment and again when I was waiting, so I would have appreciated knowing ahead of time so I could have made arrangements for a ride. If this was not my only option, I would have left. Waiting over 5 hours for a tire installation and alignment is just not acceptable.

DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE IF YOU VALUE YOUR VEHICLE. Brought my one-week old truck in to fix the left rear tire, with a screw in it, at approximately 5:15 pm. Was told they couldn’t fix it as they were closing in 20 minutes. They actually close at 6:00 pm. Anyway, fearing the tire would be flat by Monday, I left my new truck there for it to be fixed on Monday. They said it would be ready around 10:00 am. So, I called Monday morning at 10:10 am and was immediately put on-hold for 10 minutes. When they finally got back to me, I asked if my truck was ready. The woman told me “Yes, it’s ready. The tech didn’t find anything. You can pick it up.” I was incredulous and told her there’s a big screw in the tire and it must be fixed. She put me on-hold for another 9 minutes then told me they’re bringing it back into the shop to have another look at it and would call me when it’s ready. They didn’t call me. I had to call them to find out it was done. When I arrived and showed the woman at the sales desk the picture of the screw in the tire that may daughter had taken she brushed it off saying “Anyone could have missed it. Nobody’s perfect.” I paid my bill and followed my daughter home. When I backed into the driveway, my daughter told me to come and look at what they did to my mirror. Somehow, they scraped the side of the passenger side mirror. When I called and spoke to the manager about the damage he lied and said the damage was already there and that he folded the mirror in himself when they pulled the truck into the bay. Since it’s his word against mine, there’s not much I can do except to post this review of the VERY BAD SERVICE I received from Goodyear. This store single handedly lost my business forever. I WILL NEVER PURCHASE ANOTHER GOODYEAR PRODUCT OR SERVICE and, every chance I get will warn people away from Goodyear.

I have always used Goodyear and was delighted to find out that even though I live in a new neighborhood all of my previous records are in their computer. I had a problem with a tire and they completely checked it out at no charge. I ended up purchasing a new tire anyway because this was constantly loosing air pressure. There was no pressure to buy, just a joint conversation and recommdations. I will go back again. Highly recommend

I consider it a shame for Good Year to have a dealer with such poor management. Today I had a reservation at 10:30 am to have several services done on my car. I arrived at 10:00 am and they told me that I would have to wait at least 3 hours since they had many cars ahead of them, that their technicians did not arrive, and that reservations made online are not valid for them. In other words, chaos. This is the second time I have to face such poor customer service. I do not recommend the rude, ill-mannered, and neophyte manager.

by all means. please please please do not go here. i went in for a simple oil change. turns out my car has a bunch of problems. cool, i allowed them to fix it. told me it would be done by end of day. wasn’t, told me to come back in 2 days still wasn’t finished. they had my vechile for almost 5 days. i called multiple times to assure that my vechile was gonna get taken care of. they were rude, noncompliance and overall still lefted me with a shitty job. my car ended up having no oil in it. and told me to talk it up to corporate to fix the issue. and cherry on top for this experience, was when i called the final time to pick up my vechile there “test drive” was just one of the workers sitting in my car.

A yr ago I gave a 5 star review, thanks to Gabriel. Sadly, Gabriel was not at this location a couple days ago when I took my car in for transmission oil and tire rotation in my blk Honda. Being my prev experience, I made the mistake to trust. As I drove off and hear the noise on the road way louder and outside air. Driver door was dented causing the bottom corner of the door to pop out. They tried to cover it up which is why it wasn’t simply visible you til I liked closer. Sadly they were dishonest and did not take accountability. Guess their word against mine. I work hard for what I have, and giving business and my $$ to ppl who don’t take responsibility is a deal breaker for me.

If you want your car destroyed, take it to the Goodyear in Riverview off Big Bend. I brought my car in on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, to have two tires replaced and an alignment done. I picked it up the next day, Thursday, April 24, and was absolutely mortified when I saw the condition of my vehicle. As you can see in the pictures, both of my rear rims were completely destroyed. They left deep gouges all around the rims, and didn’t even bother cleaning off the tire mounting compound they used. It looked like they had no respect for my car at all. And the alignment? It was so bad the car was almost undrivable. Thankfully, I contacted corporate, and they sent me to a different location to have it corrected which I did today, April 26, 2025. When the technician at the new location handed me the alignment sheet, he said, “I can’t believe they let you leave the shop with it like that.” Bottom line: if you care about your car and want quality work done, stay far away from this Goodyear.

Had to come to this location with my wife on Saturday, Riverview Florida. Was a good experience I can’t say anything that I feel was wrong. Everything was taken care of. Had plenty of help. There was a brother That works there that help me out a lot I think he said his name was Mike but if u want some good service go to Goodyear and ask for him he will get u right he did it for me so I know he take his job serious but thinks again just want to let the world know what good service i got

Made an appointment for two tires to be swapped out. Arrived on time and their system was down. Gave manager my keys and over an hour later the vehicle hadn’t moved so I left. Don’t waste your time or money here, they don’t care. Calling the 800 # below was also a waste of 20 minutes as the representative asked me for a file number that doesn’t exist. Email me some coupons if you want to attempt to resolve this

Poor management, unprofessional employees behind the desk. Good year used to have standard instead its a sarcastic, unapologetic woman making sighs and acting annoyed because they can't staff let alone control appointments made. The excuse 1 guy and two cars in front of me for a 1430 appt can't do an oil change before they close at 1830. 4 hours and 2 of us were only there for oil changes.

Went too have a flat repair the manager said it would be a 3 hour wait, I said I have to get home to my wife who has dementia can you please put my spare on,she said I can't put you ahead of anyone it will still be 3 hours. I told her I was a former G110 Goodyear Dealer & good customer of this company store & bought my Goodyear Fortera tires there & do all my services there for 11 years. I left & went to Tire Choice & they put my spare on for no charge. I'm will never go back to this company store again. The manager is a joke. As a former Goodyear dealer I couldn't believe how this is how they treat their customers.
