Went in for a battery, no associate at the front, looked in the back, saw an associate, the associate saw me back, then went back to what he was doing. Saw a young associate in one of the aisles and told him I needed assistance. The associate looked at me, took a breath of frustration, walked to the front and said "what's up". Very unprofessional and both associates lacked basic customer service skills. The only reason this establishment get any stars is because when I need something for my vehicles, they have it on hand 99% of the time. In summary, customer service is trash!

I bought a new starter, had it installed, but my car wouldn't start the next day. I returned the part, and they said it was defective. Lesson learned: always test parts before leaving the store. This was an expensive mistake. All I received from the store was an apology no discount or partial refund was offered.

Massive thanks to JJ for replacing my battery. He was fast and knew what he was doing. But dude.... Why is every square inch of the service area in direct sunlight? He had to do it standing out in the blazing heat with zero shade. I'm sweating, he's sweating, the guy waiting next to me is sweating. Expecting people to stand out there for 20 minutes in the Florida sun is insane. It's bad for business. Corporate, regional managers, the suits, talking to you here: Put in a sunshade. Notice how every self-service car wash in Florida is shaded? It's because no one would go there if it wasn't. This autozone even faces north! Meaning a sunshade would solve the problem 100% of the time you are open! Also, I did the math and a sunshade would actually be cheaper(!) than an ER visit for heat stroke. JJ and the rest of your employees are carrying your whole leadership team. The least you can do is put up a tarp and give them a safe place to work.

Worst customer service by far, 2nd time I go to this location, I just needed a diagnostics so they can read my car, after waiting for 5 customers that were behind me, the attendant finally decided to hook up the fault reader with an attitude and this 2nd time vicky B, spent about 1/2 hour talking to a customer about the airforce and military and in the mean time I am just standing in front of her there without being acknowledged, finally I ask them to check my car and she told me to stand by the door and after 3 more customers the other worker JJ came to me to help which he told me to wait for Vicky B, are you kidding me!, I am going to advance auto parts for now on, this was an emergency .... I hardly ever review any establishment but this is ridiculous.

I had recently, for the first time, rented a tool at the autozone on Big Bend. I was very happy that a company like autozone exists with such service which helps the regular people save a lot of money and preserve the diy American spirit. Even though I picked up the equipment at the Big Bend location, i received the initial information from the Valrico location where I received great service. I wasn't pressured with time, 1 1/2 day, which allowed be to do the work as an amateur with less pressure. Thank you Autozone.

There were 4 employees, 1 working the front, 3 hiding in the back. Stood in line for 30 mins before the manager & 2 other employees came out, which they only came out because the customer being helped asked the cashier if there was anyone else working that could help the line that was 4 people deep. The manager helped us but never apologized for our wait. Not a fan of this location. But kudos to the one guy who isn’t afraid to work his shift!
