My wife and I have been customers of Goose Automotive about 20 years for routine maintenance as well as repairs. Every encounter has been top notch. They won me over early on when I was expecting a very costly estimate only to find out it was something simple. Never once have I left their shop thinking work was done that wasn’t needed. Junior is the backbone of a model operation and Casandra adds a friendly face to their business.

I wish I could give separate stars for different aspects of my experience with Goose. I'd give FIVE stars for their service & customer service. Great people! Unfortunately, I have a HUGE problem with their billing. When I got home I noticed a charge of $14, for "Electronic Payment Processing." I called to ask what that was. I was charged $14 for paying my bill! I used a credit card. This is something that customers should be informed of as soon as they're told the amount of the bill - before they leave home to pick up their car. DO BETTER! They ONLY take credit cards or cash. No checks. So, if you don't want to have to PAY for PAYING your bill, be sure to take cash. They were wonderful in every other aspect, but this really rubbed me the wrong way. BIG TIME! The bill for a tow, new battery, and alignment came to $700. Total "fees" on that $700 bill (shop supplies & payment processing), were $49 on top of that, then, of course, taxes = $775. UPDATE: Goose responded to this review, thanking me for the positive feedback about their service. BUT. They stated that they strive to provide HONEST service. Sorry, but not telling customers IN ADVANCE that they will CHARGE you for paying your bill unless you pay cash (checks not accepted), is very DISHONEST in my opinion! This policy should be IMMEDIATELY conveyed to the vehicle's owner at the time they drop the car off. This would allow the customer to bring cash if they don't want to be charged for paying their bill. Honestly? Goose is THE ONLY business where I've encountered this!!

I have been going to Goose Automotive since they were Hope Automotive. They do excellent work and are very honest. In the past, I have taken my car to them to check something and they returned it back saying nothing was wrong and did not charge me. Today, I took my Mercedes for an oil change and inspection and since the filter price had decreased, I ended paying less that was initially quoted. That is why they have my trust and would recommend them to anyone.

I was referred by a friend and everything he said was completely true. I received top notch customer service from my first walking the office to the completion of my car being repaired! Even when my warranty company tried to do some “push-back” on services that were supposed to be covered. Jeff went to bat for me to ensure that they were to be accountable for what was in warranty contract. I have been going to Goose Auto since before it was Goose Auto and have always appreciated the honesty and service of these guys. They've never tried to upsell on anything and have been super honest about what needs to be done on my van. They recently fought with my beat-up 2007 E350 for a whole week to get a lot of major work done and I will continue to go back to them for many years if they stay as good as they are. I've been a customer here for 20 some years. I've always had a positive experience. Recently I needed help with a check engine light. During the diagnostic the mechanic found more than one thing wrong. They sent me a list of their check-up and prioritized what needed to be done by safety importance. I did not end up signing off on every thing they found that needed to be fixed but I did sign off on their strongest recommendations. I appreciate that they talk to me without any holier than thou attitude and without scare tactics. It's very straight forward and mature. They know I'll come back for the rest when I have the money--they just want to see me driving safe and without damaging the engine. I like to fix things myself when I can but when I'm jammed up or in over my head I go to Junior at Goose and he and his team take good care of me for a fair price. Strong recommendation.
