READ THIS BEFORE YOU GET AN OIL CHANGE A GREASE MONKEY!!!! I took my car to gas monkey on speedway in between alvernon and country club and got a high mileage oil change. My car was running fine no problems before I took it in it just simply needed an oil change and when I left there it actually felt like it drove better more Crisp, until I go to start it up the next morning and drive and when I start my car it's sitting there warming up and it starts sputtering then as I'm driving it and I come to red lights it starts sputtering again and then ends up dying from the RPMs dropping so much I'm not sure what the problem is yet but I know that everything was fine before I took my car there.

I should have listened to my gut but absolutely needed to get my oil changed today. They stole every single coin that was in my car…..most of which were not even US currency coins…clearly they weren’t even paying attention to what they were so I’m sure this happens frequently. I’m just glad I didn’t have more in my car. Will not be coming back, that tells me everything I need to know.

I went in for an oil change with a Black Friday coupon that had the dates on it for November 18-20 on Saturday November 29th. I was told the coupon was only good for Black Friday until I showed them the coupon. I was also mislead when they suggested a new air filter and an injector clean, especially when they said that another 15% coupon I had would apply to everything. When it came time to pay I was told that only the oil change could be used because the air filter and fuel exchange were not services. I only got the add on’s because of the discount. Otherwise I would have done those on my own. I did check online and it is true that the air filter and fuel injector clean is not covered. I will look elsewhere in the future for my personal and company vehicles (12 in total) in the future.

Arrived on a Sunday morning around 10:30, 2 customers in front of me. They took the work in order of arrival. Employees were polite and professional, waiting area was clean with ample seating. Went in for oil change only, the work took about 15 minutes. They offered several options for additional service at reasonable prices. I will return and do recommend Grease Monkey.

Everything went well except that I asked the technician who was being trained if my tires needed a rotation and he asked the manager in front of me and he just said he doesn’t know and it’s not his job to decide. Kinda weird since you guys offer the service but have no other insight nor willing to help.

Update: Ed reached out to me immediately after I posted my review. He drove to my house and evaluated the situation. He recommended that I drive back to the shop to get everything looked at, but that he suspected that some oil was spilled during the oil change and wasn't cleaned up. Everything checked out OK and the technicians cleaned up the remaining oil in the engine bay. I haven't seen any more oil in my driveway. Original review: I have an oil slick in my driveway and there’s oil all over my engine bay. And I have to figure out where all the oil is coming from. Hopefully they didn’t mess up anything too bad. Lesson learned.

I made an appointment on line, requested an oil change with a synthetic blend ( previous oil change) and requested windshield replacement. With the coupon it was a switch to Grease monkey. Upon getting in line an attendant approached and asked everything that I had filled out on line, except oil type. I usually and will return to Arvada Auto, I will NOT switch. The only communication I had was from a tech telling me that I needed a fuel filter for $69.99. Evidently Carfax is where you get your information. Completely stupid, the sticker from previous change indicated the oil I requested. I was then presented with a bill for a full synthetic oil change. $89.99, I paid but I would like some compensation for , what I think is a bait and switch( screw) Never again and I will be spreading my experience going forward . Oh and my check engine light came on! I went back to Arvada Auto, my trusted shop.

When I was waiting for my simple oil change, they kept updating me on things that needed to be filled or serviced. Affordable.
