The first time I came here I wasn't pleased with the person who helped me. I accidentally entered the garage from the wrong side. The guy kept asking me if I was OK, which was annoying. I made a mistake and he thought something was mentally wrong with me. My second trip wasn't bad. The guy ended up making me go next door to get cash at the gas station since he made a mistake and finalized the transaction as cash only, and he couldn't change it.

I went in for an oil change today at Grease Monkey. After only waiting for a few minutes, I was immediately greeted and told to pull into the garage by the young man working there. Oil change took around 10 minutes and I liked how he made sure that everything else was okay. I normally just go in for what I need, but I’m glad he noticed that my windshield wipers were ready to change. I felt that they needed to be changed, but was waiting to see if he’d say anything. He was very sincere and wasn’t trying to make me purchase something crazy. I also liked how he told me their prices, when I went to Take 5 on Dowlen, they didn’t give me any prices at all! Grease Monkey gave phenomenal, transparent service!

First of all, I love the name grease monkey. Someone told me about this place. So I went. The service was amazing. The price is ok. It could be a little bit more reasonable. But it was ok. After literally limping into the parking lot with my hazards on, they rushed over to help me. Lee immediately began asking me questions about what happened. Suffice it to say I am not a mechanic so my description about the events leading up to my arrival were less than helpful. Lee explained that if I had detrimental damage to the engine, he didn't want to charge me for an oil change that I didn't need. Who does that? They had me pop the hood and they first checked the oil level. Turns out my oil was overfull. It was one of the reasons for my current trouble. Yes, my fault. My sensor was likely out, Lee explained. Either that or my pump was going out. I really appreciated him giving me an idea of where to start with a mechanic. To safely ensure the correct oil level, they ended up needing to change the oil...at an extremely discounted price. I was so grateful. There is no telling how much the repairs will set me back. I cannot express how much their kindness meant. If you get the chance, stop by the location on West Lucas in Beaumont and let Lee and his team help you out.

Went in earlier today to check truck out. It had be idle for months and I needed a headlight replacement . Lee checked my headlight's electrical wiring, flushed my engine and changed my oil. Lee went above and beyond to make sure my vehicle was safe to get back in the road after for sitting for so long. He even fixed my exhaust after it had been shifted out of place and instead of sounding like a diesel truck it sounds just like it did when I brought it over 10 years ago. I really appreciate all that you guys do at grease monkey and will forever be a loyal customer. Did I mention it was inexpensive too!!!! Thank you Lee at greasy monkey on Lucas!

If I could give this place zero stars I would. I had my wife drop off my truck to get an oil change due to the fact I was busy at work. I assumed a simple oil change would be easy and she would be in and out no problems. I was wrong they gave her a quote that seemed reasonable and then turned around and charged her a hundred dollars more. On top of that the person handling the oil change became aggressive with her when she pointed the price out on the receipt. So I highly recommend bringing your vehicle to anywhere else but here.
