It was good. They had just opened at 07:30 and I waited for my passenger to show up so i could give them a ride home.

Would not recommend, took months to get us in, if it was that busy or couldn't get parts they could of been straight up with us.. after they finally got us done, a month maybe a month in half at the very most, the truck is doing the same thing it did when we took it in, so obviously didn't fix the main problem it went in for!

Rob and the guys in the shop go above and beyond. They not only ensured that my vehicle was repaired and ran as intended. I even got a call two weeks later to check on me to make sure everything was running smooth.

Called to get an estomate to do some work on my trick, a gentlemam named Michael answered was rather hard to get a word in with him. I wasnt able to determine if he had finished his sentence or not. When i would go to ask a follow-up qiestion he would cut me off. Then he randomly hung up on me. I will not be going through this company for anything nor will I ever reccomend them to any of my friends or family. Poor attitude and poor customer service. -3/10

Got quoted over 1,600$ for a single break line. Would not explain how it was that much when the Chevy dealership will replace all the break lines for 750$ cheaper than here rather he replied with “what don’t you understand about parts and labor” very rude. Also had to pay 100$ for Diagnostic when I told him exactly what I wanted done. Complete wast of my time and money I don’t recommend this place to anybody

Horrible!! DO NOT HAVE THEM WORK ON YOUR VEHICLE!!! They'll tell you 1 thing and do the opposite!!! They will not fix your vehicle due to their mistakes. They do NOT warranty their work, but they'll tell you they do. Poor customer service!!! They lie to get your money, they'll slap in any used transmission after telling you they will rebuild it and warranty it, take your money and push you out the door. They do not care about they're customers!!!

Rob at Great Western Transmission is exceptional. Between the 46 phone calls I made (my dealership was trying to screw both of us over) Rob remained resilient and helped me solve my car issues and went above and beyond. Definitely recommend bringing any of your vehicles here!

Blew transmission Jan.14 this year. Tow truck operator recommended Hawkeye transmission but couldn't help for at least 2 weeks. Great western said if I could get it there by next day they had opening. He said worse case rebuild would be $2500 to $3000. However no warranty since I had snow plow mounts on truck. After 2 weeks tow operator told me it had not moved where we parked it in back. I called several times on update as initially told me about 2 weeks. He said they did conduct diagnosis and it was going to cost $3200. I called Hawkeye and he said i'm always 2 to 3 weeks out I asked if i could bring it to him? He said yes. Gave me idea would cost $2500 worse case rebuild. Great Western said I owed them $100 for diagnostics, however did not even pull dipstick. Ok paid them the $100 and took it to Hawkeye. He said he put 8 quarts of fluid in it and could at least move into shop. He got it open and said better than he thought got it back and didn't need a complete build cost $2105. Best part is he warrants it for 12 months and 12,000 miles.

I would not ever say go here. Never called back until I tried more then once. So my car needs a transmission right. The cars in 2019 with 100,000 mi. You think it's back out to remanufacture transmission with a warranty. That's not what they did they found a used transmission and told me it cost $5,000. I can get a remanufactured transmission with warranty at the dealership installed for $4,500 with a warranty! I would not recommend this place to anyone

I absolutely do not recommend this shop to anyone for any type of auto repairs. I took in my vehicle on October 25th 2022, it is now Feb 22 2023 and I still have not received any information on my car. I've called multiple times between now and then and haven't gotten an actual diagnosis from anyone. Also, in the 4 month wait for my vehicle I did not receive one courtesy call updating me whatsoever on the progress of my vehicle. I have since had to make arrangements to get my vehicle towed from there lot to another auto repair shop so it can actually be worked on. Something fishy is going on at this place of business and the owner and operators of this shop should be ashamed of the poor service they provide.

I brought my jeep in to have my brakes worked on. They were very courteous and professional and did a super great job. I also loves how everything was explained to me and answered every question I had. A special thanks to Rob and his team. I highly recommend their quality and service.

Pretty poor experience all around. The individual that I was working with for a couple weeks was either fired or quit. The arrangements that I had made with this individual were not honored once I found out that he was no longer with the company. And to make matters worse, they raised the initial quote by a few hundred dollars (after giving me the run around for a few days and NOT calling me back "before the end of the business day" for several days). I took my car to K & N and they did the same standard job, with new parts, for near half the price. (Great Western quoted $3900, K&N completed the job in one day and charged $2050, with warranty). Unfortunately, it was a waste of my time and money at Great Western.
